iPage sucks. I hosted my wordpress blog http://www.ntuan16.com on ipage too. But it was so slow, so finally I decide to export it to ntuan16.wordpress.com to exchance my cutomized blog (which is on hosted ipage) with simple but very fast blog on WordPress. I deleted my ipage account after 1 year (actually only 2 first months) using their services. So dont’t come to ipage if you want to create a blog.

I don’t know if you’ve solved this Osman. I initially had a difficult time looking for Live Mesh folder in the library/Application support folder. I then figured because there are 2 user profiles in my mac, I have to locate the library/Application support/ under the specific user.

I hate iPage with a passion. If you register your domain with them, they try to force you use their hosting and mail services. I don’t like when companies put restrictions on things you own. They didn’t allow me to change my nameservers or MX records to point my domain wherever I want. Server sometimes is extremely slow also.

Sorry to hear about the little guy, and you guys for that matter, going through this ordeal. All I remember about my tenure with chicken pox in the old days is sitting in a bathtub (since clothing bothered the itch) crying with oven mits on my hands and my mom screaming at me when I tried to take them off, so yeah, it sucks big time. I wonder if the fact that he caught the infection even with the vaccine has made it worse? He definitely looks to have a pretty nasty case. Anyway, good luck to you all and I hope it gets better soon!

people you have to understand that we dress up in a suit because thats what our “founding fathers” showed us? therefor we are being controlled in a way. Don’t you see? clothes are clothes? Why should we be over looked on how we dress? If you really think about it, the only important factor that a boss should have on his/her mind is your personilty because, thats the main factor that brings in the money. People need to pay more attention on being happy and, if your happy with what you wear then so be it. But i will say this; as of now in this day and age you should go with the suit because too many people in this world live by what socity tells them and, those people are the same people who have the power to hire you or drop you. And for what i thik about the jesus subject… they didn’t care about what they had on (adam and eve?) < they were happy? Time just change into people who want a say in things so they came up with dumb rules? so really when it comes down to how we dress, its the random people (most likely with alot of money) who have power to determine the outcome which is why our government doesnt wear wigs anymore. Yes some men get happy when they put on suits? its because thats how we are trained to act because again we are going with what socity feels we should. Just be your self .. thats what really matters? Im a teen and i have a better understanding on this subject than most of the people who wake up everyday?

Try turning iTunes Match off in iTunes on your computer & then turn back on. after this completes go to view, view options & make sure check marks are next to cloud boxes. after this is completed and everything shows matched or uploaded. turn off iTunes Match on your phone & wait for everything to clear out. turn match back on phone & see what happens

I gave this a shot.

1. From iTunes. I selected the Music tab then checked the box allowed me to sync 2. only selected playlists (3 in total to test out your suggestion).
3. Synced my iPhone (well, attempted)
4. Sync never completed
5. Restored iPhone as new and repeated steps 1 & 2
6. Playlists are now in the music app
7. Turned on iTunes Match and playlists disappear.
8. Download circle spins. Did so for hours. Remember, I only have 3 playlists.
9. Let it sit over night and still no playlists this morning.

Open to more suggestions.

Once you have check marks next to each playlist that you want to sync in music tab on your mac sync your phone. All your playlists should be on your phone. Now turn itunes match on your phone & sync again. when you click on music tab on your mac you will no longer see your playlists & will show itunes match on. After the sync in all likely hood all your playlists will be deleted from phone. This is ok, you will see the sync wheel on phone spinning now. just let it spin until it stops. I have over 250 playlists & it took 4 hours to stop spinning on phone. once the wheel on phone completed all my playlists were back on my phone. I then added a new playlist to my itunes library & about 1 minute later that playlist was now on my phone. Did not even have to sync to do this. For the last 2 weeks I have been working with a senior advisor from apple care & he really helped me. The problem we were all having was once we turned match on the phone our playlists would come off of the phone & we were all freaking out & cursing itunes match. None of us myself included did not know that all we had to do was wait for the wheel to stop spinning on our phones & then our playlists would be there. Hopefully this will work for everyone & I will keep an eye on my playlists to make sure they stay put now.

I wish I would have read this earlier. I am having such difficulties with iPage. I purchased the website domain thinking it was related to iMac and Apple products. Yikes, I’m still trying to get a reasonable response from someone other than the client reps who answer the phone but have no authority to resolve any problems. There is never a supervisor available! Now I understand why they run those enticing and false adverstisements. Tomorrow I will be calling the Better Business Bureau.

This worked for me too! I had done a first-time install on OS X Leopard in October 2011, have since upgraded to snow leopard. In trying to sync with a new Windows 7 laptop this weekend, realized the Mac is not sending files. I followed the above instructions and now all is well. It appears to be the same Live Mesh for Mac release as before (dated 7/20/2011), so perhaps it was the Snow Leopard upgrade which caused the problem.

HOLY SH*T! My wife familiarized me with pinterest only a few days ago, asking how such a website could survive amongst such controversy. so i begged the question “what’s wrong?” to which she replied that numerous web blogs have been very angry with pinterest in stealing their traffic. now i wonder if the founders of pinterest didn’t pre-meditate this situation along with their TOS… at least it doesn’t seem like there is any profiteering going on…

im off soap & shampoo. no poo for a few yrs and no soap for about a yr. just use a washcloth in the shower, and just water rinse my hair ever few days. the inbetween days i do a dry shampoo of just cornstarch before showering at night.

as for the BO comment below, I havent noticed any BO since going no soap. I guess the soap in the pits was counter intuitive.

Wish I had read this before. They are non-responsive, the internet designing features (even the “upgraded” one I reluctantly paid for) doesn’t do squat to help the novice – probably not even the expert. I’ve used Earthlink and Intuit’s services for two different pages and they were easy to set up. This one is near impossible.

I followed the proposed steps above but when I try to start the Live Mesh fresh install I receive an error saying “We are having troubley identifying your device. Please back upp all the files in your synced folders. Then go to…” see attached screen shot.

The delete from server command is disabled in pop3 protocol resulting in your inbox filling up and iPage bouncing mail back to sender. When asking cust. service, they insist there isn’t delete from server capability in POP3… The work around? They insist I use iMAP protocol. I asked why they offer POP3 email if they don’t want people using it… long pause. Their documentation instruct you to use pop.yourdomain.com & smtp.yourdomain.com for email retrieval/sending. Neither work. Customer service said that it only seems to work properly if pop.ipage.com and smtp.ipage.com are used. So why instruct customers to use “yourdomain”… long pause. How messed up is this for a hosting company that says it has over a million customers. They can’t handle basic simple old basic POP3 email.
