Transfer PSP UMD games on Vita

2011-11-18T18:50:00.000-08:00

Even if Vita will be the one on the big screen now, the PSP won't be forgotten. Sony designed a way for PSP games to be played in PS Vita (called UMD Passport). Because the Vita doesn't have a UMD slot, the game would be converted to a digital format.

Can't find an english version compliments to vitagamr

A PSP, an original UMD game, a PSN account, and a PS Vita will be needed. First you will need to use the PSP to download an application (UMD Registration Application) which will check the game if it is compatible to convert it into a Vita game. After it has confirmed your game ownership, it will register the game to your PSN account and will provide you a digital downloadable version of the game. When you get your Vita, you can access PSN and download the game to your Vita. Sound so simple right? Not yet.

Here is the catch: it's not FREE. If you want to transfer PSP games to your Vita you have to pay a fee. The fee ranges from $6.45 to $19.35, that's 280-840 PHP depending on the title.

The advantage of the transfer playing the game on your current handheld. But if you can manage to play and carry around both a Vita and a PSP, why not just play it on the PSP? The choice is yours.

Vita release date announced!

2011-10-19T21:49:00.000-07:00

As I was checking my email a moment ago I saw a message from PlayStation and thought that it was just another newsletter about Vita games or new accessories. But when I read the subject, "PS Vita release date announced",

my face turned into a meme face

The email was from Sony Computer Entertainment Australia. It said that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) confirmed that the Vita will be released on February 22, 2012 in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Australasia (that is 4 months from now!) At least we can play it for 10 months before the world ends (just kidding!)

FYI, in the email there was some kind of mistake, or not:

...from 22 February 2015

But I was not bothered because that is a F@#!^& long wait! And I also confirmed through the main article using the "Find out more" button on the lower right corner of the image.

Vita waiters save your money now! (Or if you are already saving then good for you!)

PS Vita accessories revealed (with HQ pics)

2011-09-18T23:48:00.000-07:00

Now that Vita's release is getting near, Sony reveals everything that the Vita has. In the Tokyo Game Show held in Tokyo, Japan (duh), Sony showed some of the accessories the Vita will be having. All I can say is that all its accessories are all cool and very stylish on the outside but I am sure that what it can do will amaze us too. Here are some of the accessories shown
compliments to Sony and CNET:

Vita on the cradle. It serves as a mini stereo

The proprietary Vita memory card. This is not an SD

The cradle without the Vita

Earbuds with a microphone and a mute switch

First 6.60 custom firmware out now!

2011-08-15T01:07:00.000-07:00

In less than a week after the release of the 6.60 firmware, a stable custom firmware made by an "expert" called Neur0n was already made avialable. After undergoing three beta stages, Neur0n already stabilized the CFW and shared it with everyone.

If you want to know more about it, go here. If you want to download it right away, go here.

Neur0n's notes from pspcustomfirmware.com:

How to install 6.60 ME
1.Put the 6.60 OFW and rename it to 660.PBP into PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder
2. Copy the 660ME (EBOOT.PBP) in the PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder too
(should be like this
ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP 660.PBP
3.Start the CFW on your XMB.

PSP firmware update: 6.60

2011-08-11T02:15:00.000-07:00

After a long time since the last update, Sony released the PSP's newest firmware: 6.60. Of course, "experts" will first exploit this firmware so it is not recommended to update to this version yet, unless you don't want to run homebrew anymore.

I am still quite confused why it jumped from 6.39 to 6.60. But anyway, one of the famous "experts" called Neur0n has been playing with it for a while now so maybe in a couple of days a custom 6.60 firmware will be available.

As usual, Sony excites us again to update to their latest firmware by giving the descriptions of 6.60:

"Minor update."

Woah! That's cool!

If you are interested to download it, go here (PSP only) or here (PSP Go only).

WARNING: Do not update to this firmware if you are on custom firmware and if you don't want to lose homebrew access.

PS Vita release date moved

2011-08-09T00:19:00.000-07:00

According ti Sony, the PlayStation Vita release date will be moved to the first months of 2012 (most probably March). But that only applies to US and Europe territories. Japanese gamers are lucky because it will be released in Japan before the end of 2011.

It's so unfair they get to play it before us. But on the brighter side, we have more time to save money!
Sony says PS Vita prices will still remain despite the fact that the 3DS lowers its price. Whatever! Even though it's more expensive, PS Vita will still be the best!

How to watch TV series online for free (no sign-ups, no time limits)

2011-07-17T23:46:00.000-07:00

Well yeah, this is not a PSP-related post but I just want to share this knew trick I learned. I wanted to watch different TV series by streaming but I can't find sites which actually let you watch absolutely free. Some requires payments and sign-ups and when it's free it has a time limit. It pisses me off because an annoying alert saying that I already watched 'n' minutes of video comes up in the middle of watching the episode. If you are experiencing this too then maybe I could help you with that. All you need here is a fast internet connection for streaming and it's all set.

Sites you need:

What to do:

Open the two links I gave above on different tabs.
Leave the NGE City tab for a while and focus on the Blinx tab for the meantime.
On the Blinx site, find what TV series you want to watch. There are lots of them so there's a big chance you will find what you are looking for.
Go to the episode you want to watch and click it so the video links will come out.
When you see a link which says "Click here to watch on videobb.com", click it. Remember to just click the link which will direct you to VideoBB, not Megavideo or others.
When you are already in VideoBB, click the "Links" option of the video and copy the URL of the video, it should look something like this: http://www.videobb.com/video/wX62DWxx0e8T
Now go to the NGE City tab and paste this url and click 'Stream!'.

Hooray! Now you can watch without limits! Hope it works! Thanks to NGE City, Blinkx, and VideoBB.

CXMB for CFW 3.71-6.39

2011-07-13T08:17:00.000-07:00

This is the latest update for the CXMB for the PSP. It has a wider range of CFWs supported (3.71-6.39). CXMB is a plugin which enables the PSP to read .ctf files. The normal themes which are in the .ptf format only change the background and the icons of your XMB (like the default Cookie theme in the PSP). The .ctf themes however modifies your XMB greatly. It modifies the arrangement of the icons and how they move. They even have animations! So if you are tired of seeing the same XMB everyday, try installing the CXMB plugin.

.ptf theme

For more details and for the download link, go here.

.ctf theme

Installation:

Extract the files using an archiver.
Copy the 'cxmb.prx' to the 'seplugins' folder in the root of your memory stick (ms0:/). If you do not have a 'seplugins' folder, create one.
Put the line 'ms0:/seplugins/cxmb.prx 1' in the 'vsh.txt' file in the 'seplugins' folder. If you do not have a 'vsh.txt' file, create one and add this line.
Put .ctf theme files in the 'THEME' folder found in the 'PSP' folder. Just search for .ctf themes on Google, there are so many of them there.
Reboot your PSP.
Install a .ctf theme and see if it works. Reboot if necessary.

Oh yeah! New banner!

2011-07-13T00:19:00.000-07:00

As you can see, I edited YaoTech's banner, yey! Using my amazing photo editing skills, I officially included PS Vita on my radar (even though it's not out yet). So for now I will just give more news about the Vita. For the PSP, well, there is not much new. Maybe everyone is concentrating on the Vita right now. But if there are major news/updates on the PSP, I will certainly post it here.

Oh yeah! New banner!

No more UMDs! NVG card has come

2011-07-12T09:23:00.000-07:00

The PSVita does not have UMDs anymore. Awww... Why 'Awww...'? UMDs are expensive! Anyways, NVG cards are only available in 2GB and 4GB memory for now. 5-10% of the capacity will be used for save data, updates, etc. Sony said that they will make high-capacity cards sooner or later.
As for now we only know what memory capacities are available and what it looks like.

Sweet

We hope to get more information soon. We also hope that the release will not be delayed. Thank you Sony for this wonderful creation.

Vita release date revealed by shopping site

2011-06-28T08:59:00.000-07:00

I am not much in to the PSP right now because I am really excited about the Vita. You would probably notice that several posts here are dedicated to PSVita news. Who isn't excited anyway?
Well, its release date has been revealed! Yes, you read it right, the PSVita will come out before we know it.
The leaked release date was for the UK version of the Vita only. For the other regions, well we should just hope it will also be out at the same time. According to shopto.net, seller of consoles and video games in the UK, if you will pre-order the Vita, you will receive it at November 4, 2011.

If you pre-order PS Vita : Wi-Fi Model before 12pm on Wednesday 2nd of November 2011 we will guarantee that you will receive it by the release date of Friday 4th of November 2011, if you do not receive it we will compensate you with £3.00 on your shopto account .

Shopto also revealed the prices of the games to be £39.99 (PHP 2500) each. The 20 available games would include Wipeout 2048, LittleBigPlanet and Killzone while BioShock, Modnation Racers, Monster Hunter Portable, Resistance and Super Stardust Delta will be just available for pre-ordering for the mean time.
We can all wait 'til November or longer, as long as we just get our hands on it. Unfortunately, the price of the games is quite high, we should all hope that the 'experts' can do something about this.
Just a tip: don't buy Vita yet as long as the 'experts' haven't exploited it yet or just go with the next version if there would be because that would be more stable (maybe the first one may have slight errors and glitches).

I'm back! About the inactivity...

2011-06-19T09:50:00.000-07:00

If you are wondering about the full details of my inactivity, then in this post you will know. So this will not be a PSP-related post. If you are not interested then just go to the other pages in my blog, MY BLOG ONLY (just kidding XD).
I'm sorry that this will not be related to the PSP because I am just so happy that I really have to share this "extraordinary" story to all of you. This is a story of perseverance, discipline, and hardworking...uhh...ness. This is a new exciting chapter of my life which opened. So before I jump into another topic, here it is.

Since the start of summer vacation, I don't have anything to do in our house except to eat, sleep, lie in the bed, and use my laptop. And then I thought, "If I am just going to 'Facebook' and consume bandwidth and food, why don't I do something productive?"
And that was the start of me searching for different ways on how to earn money online. At first I came across with paid-to-click sites. These are sites which pay you by clicking ads. For me this is not much of a money-maker because it takes a lot of time for you to really earn. But if you have a lot of referrals and you upgraded by paying, then it will be a money-making machine for you. If you are interested then just click the ads around my site to join or click these and sign up: Clixsense, Onbux, Clicksia.
But PTC sites are not the ones which made me really happy, it is Freelancer. Freelancer is a site where employers hire freelancers to do different online jobs for them. There are hundreds of job types available from programming to content writing to all kinds of stuff. Others hire female webcam "models" which I would love to take but unfortunately, I am not a female. Seriously? No, I am just kidding. Don't ever bid on that, it is BAD!
This is how Freelancer works:

Sign up for an account
Fill out your information and credentials (Optional: upload a profile picture)
Choose 50 out of hundreds of job categories which you think you are qualified. Be aware that these 50 that you chose will be the only job categories which you can bid on
Browse for jobs on your selected job categories, these are the ones in color red
If you can't find a job for you then you have the power to change the job categories which you chose
If you already found a job which you think you can do, read the description carefully first
Bid on the project and state your price and deadline. Remember that you will compete with other freelancers

For a higher chance of being hired take the freelancer exams, upgrade to gold membership, make your bid known for $1 or just make a "powerful bid" (strong arguments, work samples, etc.)

Wait for it if the employer chooses you. If he/she does, then you're lucky! Make sure you meet the deadline your employer stated. If you were not chosen then try your luck again, you'll lose nothing if you try!

For the payment and other stuff, I will not discuss it here because this post is not about tutorial on Freelancer, lol. Just contact me at my email ad and there I will tell you. This post is about me boasting about my job at Freelancer by the way.

The job I got is in the article writing category. I am "destined" to write 68 articles which contain 400 words each, 5 articles minimum for each day. So everyday I research details on new stuff, because I have zero ideas on the 68 topics given to me. I researched about laser hair removal, down comforters, metal roofs, credit cards, and metal roofs again. See how out-of-the-world they are? But I am glad that this experience taught me that the Intense Pulsed Light or the IPL is the best laser hair removal system in the world, lol.
My employer is good and very approachable. If I have questions about the job then I will just open Google Talk and chat with her. She also knows that I am studying and have problems with the internet connection so when I failed to send the 5 articles one day, she told me it was alright. How nice of her not reducing my salary or firing me!
About the payment, one article is priced $1. So 68 articles + 1 urgent article = $69 - $6 project fee = $63. Not bad for me, 'cause I'm satisfied with it. I am expecting the pay in maybe 2 or 3 days from now. I know this is not fake because she already paid me $20 partial payment when I first finished my 20 articles.
But there are moments too where I felt that I can't do it anymore and just resign from the job. But I said to myself that this opportunity may be my only chance to earn extra money. I would do this rather than working in a fast food chain or a call center. At least in this job I have my own schedule and I use my brain, not just following orders and routines.
For now I will stop to concentrate on my studies. One reason I finished the job is for me to have a review/feedback so that the next time I want to apply for a job again I will have an advantage (my employer said she would give me a 10, hooray!). So for now I will not be a freelancer, maybe a maroon I guess.

THE END

So what's the moral lesson of the story? IPL is the best laser hair removal system. Good analysis! Seriously, I hope you learned something, aside from the IPL. Because I did not just write this at 12 o' clock in the midnight just to promote or boast. So if by any chance you were inspired or have questions about this post or whatever, feel free to contact me.

(Sorry for the grammar errors and the spellings, I am really sleepy right now).

P.S. Thanks to both my parents for being supportive and allowing me to open a bank account for me to have a way to receive the payments and other stuff.

NGP is Playstation Vita!!! Nice name right?

2011-06-07T07:32:00.000-07:00

Wait a minute kapeng mainit!!!

Before I become completely inactive, I want to tell you all that the PSP2 aka NGP, is PSVita all along (I wonder if they hid it). Sony revealed that PSVita will be the official name of the NGP. They also revealed its price and it is said to be PHP10, 797.07-12,956.57($249.99-$299.99) depending on the model you bought. The more expensive one will support 3G and WiFi while the cheaper supports WiFi only.

In the E3 expo, they said that they will be partnering with America's largest mobile phone company, AT&T. This announcement stunned the audience and left them hanging. Will the PSVita accept the responsibility of your cellphone? I hope they will partner up with Globe, Smart, and Sun cellular too for us here in the Philippines. "SMS and calls with your handheld? WTH???" *sigh*, you're manol much.

Our "experts" are now so excited to get their hands on the PSVita, who desn't want free stuff right? I hope they can exploit it immediately and I will definitely change my slogan to "Get the best out of your PSP and PSVita!". I hope I can buy one when it is out. Can someone send one to me?I'll pay you. PROMISE :)

Start saving money now! It is a great save to buy this monster baby killing machine for only 10k pesos! For the official Sony video of PSVita, go here. For the page of PSVita in the Playstation site go here.

Before logging off I want to leave you these. Have fun!

Custom firmwares aka CFWs which I used and recommend

2011-06-02T10:04:00.000-07:00

The latest firmware version right now is 6.39. But is it best to upgrade or just stay with the lower versions? In this post I will discuss what CFWs I think are the best to use (because I used them too). It is up to you what to install and how to install them.

3.71 M33-4 - The first CFW I used. It is already installed when I bought my PSP so lucky me. It is good for a lower version but it can't support
5.50 Gen D-3 - Kind of outdated but good stability.
Prometheus 4 for 5.50 Gen - Upgrade from 5.50 GEN. It can play games which require 6.20 firmware or higher.
6.39 ME-4 (latest) - I am using this because I want the latest and I want to test the newest ones so I can submit feedbacks to the developer if ever I find bugs.

This is a really short post isn't it? Feel free to comment below. Like my page on FB too! :)

Download free PSP Games for real in just 8 simple steps!

2011-05-31T10:42:00.000-07:00

Like what I said in my previous post about downloading free movies, downloading free PSP games is basically the same. But because movies are different from games, I made this post.

Downloading Games

What you need:

BitTorrent client (you also need knowledge on how to use them) [uTorrent, BitTorrent,Vuze]
Archiving utility (most of 'em are compressed) [7-Zip, IZArc]
PSP running on CFW (of course, these are unsigned!)

Step by step procedure:

Download and install a program for each one of the categories I gave above. (uTorrent, 7-Zip, and 6.39 ME-2 are the ones I use right now)

Go to a torrent site. (I personally recommend The Pirate Bay)

Two options:

If you just want to browse games, type "psp" on the search bar, check "Games", and click "Pirate Search".
If you have an idea what game you want to play, then type the title of the game on the search bar. If none comes up, try adding "psp" on your search.

For a faster download (more seeders), click the tab "SE" to sort the downloads with descending number of seeders.

Pick the game you want to download (pick the one with the greatest number of seeds)

Check the description and comments first before downloading the torrent to make sure it is a good download.

Download the torrent file by clicking "DOWNLOAD THIS TORRENT"

Open the file using your BitTorrent client and click "Ok" or "Confirm download" or whatever the word is.

Easy right? Now you don't have to buy from PSN or buy UMDs.

To install most games, extract the rar/zip file using your archiving utility and put the ISO or CSO file in the "ISO" folder of your PSP.

If you didn't get it, I've prepared some helpful images with captions below them which indicate what step it is. Just click the images for a larger view.

Download free Movies for your PSP

2011-05-29T10:13:00.000-07:00

Do you want absolutely FREE movies for your PSP? It is illegal though. But wait, I will still tell you how. Why? Because this site is about getting the best out of your PSP. Breaking the rules is kinda fun right?

----------------------------------(Coming Up Next Post: Free Games)-------------------------------

Downloading Movies

What you need:

BitTorrent client (you also need knowledge on using them) [uTorrent, BitTorrent, Vuze]
Video converter (just in case you downloaded a format which the PSP can't read) [Pazera, PSPVideo9]
Archiving utility (maybe they compressed it) [7-Zip, IZArc]

Step by step procedure:

Download and install a program for each one of the categories I gave above. (uTorrent, PSPVideo9, and 7-Zip are the ones I use)
Go to a torrent site (preferrably The Pirate Bay)
Two options:

If you just want to browse movies and you don't have any idea what to watch, type "psp" in the search bar, check "Video", and click "Pirate Search"
If you have an idea what movie you want to download, type "psp (movie title)". If there are no movies in PSP format (MP4, AVI, etc.) available, just download what is there and convert it later.

For a faster download (more seeders), click the tab "SE" to sort the downloads with descending number of seeders.
Pick the movie you want to download (best to download the one with greatest seeds and lesser leeches).
Check the description and comments first to see if that's the format you want and to see if people liked or disliked its quality.
Download the torrent file by clicking "DOWNLOAD THIS TORRENT"
Open the file using your BitTorrent client and click "Ok" or "Confirm download" or whatever the word is.

There you go! Just wait and do something else while your movie downloads in the background. If it is not in PSP format, just convert the video into a PSP format (MP4, AVI, etc.).
In case you do not know, you should put them in the "VIDEO" folder

Basically this is also the procedure to download free PSP games, I will just make another post about it for a more detailed instruction.

Didn't understand it at all? Here are some helpful images I "print screened" (click them for a larger view) :

"First, you have to go to ms0:/PSP/GAME and put the folder here with the EBOOT.PBP file in it to play the PSX game. Disconnect your PSP from the computer and open the recovery menu. Enable the plugin whatthehellisthis.prx and toggle the flash0 and flash1 and delete all the files there to brick your PSP and never see your VSH menu and CXMB again (except if you have a Pandora and a Magic memory stick)." Whaaaaat?!?

Hold on don't do it!(this is like what you see in the movies where someone attempts to jump off a building) But yes it is the same, when you do the " toggle the flash0 and flash1 and delete all the files there" part, it will certainly brick your PSP. "What's brick?" There is manol again being ignorant, lol.

There are so many terms used in tutorials and guides sites where only PSP gamers and "experts" understand. Actually I don't even understand some of them at all. I will explain terms which I understand, kind of (so you won't be like manol over there).

#yao's Dictionary of PSP terms compliments to macca-hacker

Brick - when your PSP is already dead and unusable. This happens when you are updating and then you turned off your PSP and also when you do the one above. Don't worry because you can still recover it by using a Pandora battery and a Magic memory stick.
.ctf - theme file type which requires CXMB to run.
Downgrade - looking back to the past. This way you can go back to previous versions of firmware. This is done mostly because the newer firmware isn't compatible yet with other games and apps so older is sometimes better.
EBOOT.PBP - type of file usually placed in the GAME folder. It may be a game, an app, a PSX game, an update, etc.
Firmware - this is your PSP's OS or Operating System, like Windows or Mac on computers. It is categorized into CFW's and OFW's (not overseas Filipino workers, hey I'm proud of 'em new heroes!). CFW's are the ones created by our "experts". These firmwares are the ones required to run homebrew, which means CFW is the best. OFW is made by Sony and can only play official signed BOUGHT games, which sucks right?
Flash0 - contains important stuff just like your system32, so don't mess with it.
HEN - Homebrew ENabler. A signed PSP application to run homebrew. You can use it without CFW installed but CFWs are still the best to use .
Homebrew - lutong bahay. Apps, games, all the stuff made by "experts" and not by Sony. These can only be opened with a CFW running on your PSP (except it's a signed homebrew, which works on OFW).
.iso - file type of most PSP games. Most ISO games can be compressed to a .cso file so that it will take up less space, but other games become corrupted when you compress it.
ms0:/ - this is the root of your memory stick. By "root" means the "Homepage" of your memory stick, the one that contains the ISO, PICTURE, MUSIC, VIDEO, PSP, seplugins etc. folders. When some say "Put the file in the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder", this means you should put it in the PSP folder and then the GAME folder. Got it?
Plugins - extra perks for your PSP. Plugins can be used either in game, vsh(xmb), pops(PSX), to add cool features for your PSP. An example of it is the plugin to take screenshots in your PSP and save it in the PICTURE folder. I will be making a "recommended plugins" page later on.
.prx - file extension for plugin files
PSX - games from Playstation 1 converted to the PSP. This way, you can play your favorite games from PS1 in your PSP.
.ptf - file extension for normal PSP themes (doesn't require CXMB)
Reboot - reset your PSP. It can be done by turning it off completely and then turning it on again (not just sleep). You can also do it from the VSH menu.
Recovery menu - a feature from CFW's where you can edit advanced settings for your PSP. To access, while PSP is turned off, turn it on while holding R button until it appears.
Resolution - the PSP's resolution is 480x272 (just to inform you :D)
Sleep mode - useful when playing a game that doesn't have a pause button. Turn your PSP to sleep mode by pushing the power button up but not holding it too long.
seplugins - folder where you put your plugins and the .txt files for plugin configuration.
UMD - Universal Media Disc. Sony owned type of disc.
VSH menu - the menu in a CFW that shows when you press SELECT. It has many features and very convenient to use. You can turn off or reset your PSP in this menu
XMB - Xross Media Bar (pronounced as cross). The interface invented by Sony, used in PSP and PS3 systems and also in Bravia televisions.

That's all of it! Feel free to ask questions and add suggestions on what I should add in it. Thanks for reading and I hope it helped you cure your ignorance!

What PSP should you buy?

2011-05-23T21:58:00.001-07:00

"Why should I even buy a PSP?" *sigh*, you're so manol. I'm tired of explaining it, just look at this thread instead.

The latest PSP version is not always the better one. The truth is, the PSP-1000 is better than PSP Go, considering you want to get past security and be in the community where people love free stuff.

The PSP I bought is the PSP-2000, or the PSP slim (PSP-1000 is the fat one). I am lucky because I still don't have knowledge about it and by chance, it is hackable! (which means I can play homebrew games and applications on it.)

Slim and fat comparison

So what PSP should you buy?

Personally I recommend you buy a 1000 series (it's cool to be fat) because all of the units in that series are hackable. I don't know if you could still buy them in stores because others only sell the new ones so find one in the internet (beware of scammers). If you don't want the fat one because it's bulky and less portable, go with the slim. All the slims are hackable too except for some that are made with a different motherboard, so you should check it out here. I personally don't want 3000 and PSP Go because I don't know how to hack them (haven't even used them), but they are hackable.

The PSP Go has Bluetooth, cool.

The "What PSP should you buy?" fallback sequence by #yao:

1st choice - PSP-1000 (fat)

2nd choice - PSP-2000 (slim)

3rd choice - PSP-3000 (brite)

4th choice - PSP Go

Now you know what PSP to buy, isn't it great? You just have to have money! But I won't give tips about that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Actually, I will. I kinda joined here and you get to earn money little by little (not much for a PSP though). Good luck then!

So this is my first post and I still have no idea what to put here in my blog, because we all know that there are already hundreds of PSP sites existing today. I just want to give you a "third-person view" on what you can do more with your PSP. Here is an introduction:

The PSP or the Playstation Portable is already 6 years old and has already sold 68 million units worldwide since February 2011. It comes in different versions too- 1000(fat), 2000(slim), 3000(brite), PSP Go, and the upcoming NGP or what they call the PSP2- which all have different specs and different security levels (if you know what I mean).

With a PSP, you posses a great power. A power greater than if you have all the portable devices you may ever imagine (true story). You can use your PSP as a...

gaming device
music player
video player
image viewer
camera
internet browser

and also...these :)

dictionary
encyclopedia
pdf/Ebook reader
calculator
unit converter
academic aid
alarm clock
virtual drum kit (one of my favorites)

...and many more which I will explore and discuss further with you.

"A PSP as an alarm clock?" That's so yesterday manol. Thanks to our "experts" the PSP became a killing machine. Literally.

This is all for now folks, I'll give tips on my next post so keep in touch.

Cool, portable, and affordable gadgets you should buy:

~~Ipod~~, ~~Zune~~, ~~NDS~~, PSP, PSP, PSP...and a PSP.
