Once clicked, you’ll be directed to the Top Fans App, which offers a service ranking the most passionate, socially active people within our Facebook community.

Scrolling through this list, you can track Top Fans. These are classified by the number of Likes, Shares and Comments each player contributes to the Wall, which convert into a point value. Simply put, the more active you are on our Wall, the more you can be rewarded as long as the content stays within our guidelines. To begin interacting with the App, you will prompted to grant secure permission, after clicking the ‘Get Started’ button. Next, you will see this:

Upon acceptance, you will be able to monitor and access your standings on the leader board according to your community participation. This App is also able to measure the ‘Top Movers’, displayed by green arrows (ascent up the rankings) or red arrows (descent down the rankings) against a position number. One of Yazino’s Top Fans, Jo ‘Dorkyqueen’ Stapleton popped into the Yazino office in London to share her experiences of our games, building the community and some of the lasting friends she’s made. Find out more, as she chats to Community Manager Jo Webber…

Yazino: How did you discover our games?

JDS: Well, a friend introduced me to Yazino back in September 2010. At the time, the community was pretty small so I began helping out on the Facebook Wall. Back then, I knew most of the community and I’d help moderating people’s comments, telling people to be polite and respectful so we could help make Wheel Deal the great game it is today!

Yazino: Why did you choose to help us build and educate our community?

JDS: Well, you know, it made me feel really good to help people out. I felt worthwhile and valued by both the community, and by Yazino themselves.

Yazino: Do you have any top tips on how to build up a substantial bonus bank?

JDS: Well, just for the record, I’ve earned all my chips myself, not through lots of Yazino gift bonuses. I tend to start betting low, when you see it’s a good Wheel you raise your bet especially when you’re chosen. I always go for 20 lines. And hey, if it’s a green wheel I just adjust my bet lower. My advice: be smart and don’t be greedy!

Yazino: Why is Wheel Deal your favourite of our games?

JDS: For me, it really was the friends I’d made that made Wheel Deal such a fun experience. I’ve always loved chatting with everyone, and love playing with the same players. I’ve played on the High tables with some of the same people for years. But also, I’ve made new friends too! I tend to play in the evenings nowadays, I’m on Mountain Time and many of friends are on Eastern Time. It’s true some people talk about getting more chips on other games. However, with many of those new games you can’t chat to people in real-time. This alone really sets Yazino apart.

Yazino: How do you deal with the challenge of abusive players?

JDS: In my time, I’ve experienced a few encounters with nasty, name-calling or cursing players. My advice: just ignore it. If it’s getting really outta control, take a screenshot and report it to support. I will say there tends to be less cursing in the High rooms. And, if you can educate fellow players on the rules of the games then go ahead. Ultimately, it’s all about making friends and having lots of fun!

Yazino: What do you think about our newer slots game, High Stakes?

JDS: I really like the new game actually, it’s certainly a different mechanic to Wheel Deal. Cracking the safe is fun, and I’ve heard there are a bunch of changes coming to make it even more exciting!

Yazino: What has been your relationship with our Support Team?

JDS: I’ve known Support back when there was one person in charge, to a bigger team now. I’ve always had really positive experiences, and they’ve been open to listening to ideas. Whereas with some games you have to wait up to a week to get a reply (which is sometimes automated), Yazino Support has typically been speedy and efficient.

BIGGER WINS

It’s official, 7s are your new lucky number. In the upcoming Wheel Deal, you’ll see a completely new 7 symbol appearing on the reels, and this time, it’s become the highest paying symbol in the game! If, for example, you bet 1 chip per line and hit five 7 symbols, you’ll win 10,000 chips. Line up four 7 symbols, you’ll take 1,000 times your bet. Three seven symbols, it’s 200 times your bet.

The Four Way and Tripletto bonus round wheels have had a ‘2’ multiplier on them that is [insert drum roll] about to turn into a 5! That’s right, no more 2s will be found anywhere inside the Wheel Deal game; bid them a fond farewell.

Look for a special ‘big win’ animation to congratulate you on winning big at the reels. Think of this as the equivalent of your touchdown dance in the endzone. Why? Because you just hit the jackpot and ‘boom!’ – you rock.

Myths Busted: This isn’t exactly a new feature, but a point of clarification on a couple common Wheel Deal myths. First, betting max at the reels does NOT have any impact on getting selected or in determining which wheels will show up in the bonus round. Second, the bonus round begins when any player gets three wheels in a single spin. Being chosen to be in the center of the wheel is a random competition and independent of the amount of wheels a player has collected.

BIGGER BONUSES

In addition to updates to the Wheel Deal game, for a while you’ve been asking us to up the daily bonus on the site. Starting tomorrow, that’s exactly what we’ll be doing; the more you play, the higher your bonus will be. The new daily bonus will work like this:

• Play any Yazino game. On the first day you play, you’ll get 2,500 bonus chips.
• Play the following day, you’ll receive 3,000 bonus chips.
• On the third consecutive day you play, you’ll collect 3,500 bonus chips.
• On the fourth consecutive day, you’ll collect 4,000 bonus chips.
• Play five days in a row, and you’ll get 5,000 bonus chips. Keep playing every day after that, and you’ll continue getting 5,000 bonus chips every day.
• However, skip a day in the games and the bonus resets back to the start of 2,500 chips. But don’t worry, you can always build it back up again when you begin playing again!

TIP: Make sure you join a game and spin, deal, hit/stand, and so forth. The bonus only counts when you actually play, not just login. As a loyal player, we hope you’ll enjoy the extra chips!

Here’s everything you need to know to get into a tournament game, show off your skills, and take home up to a million chips in one go!

TOURNAMENTS EXPLAINED

1) What is a tournament and what are the buy-ins & prizes?

You can play either Blackjack or Texas Hold’em tournaments, which are games that start at a specified time, with a set buy-in. We’ve just upped the stakes and the payouts on tournaments to let your lucky self win huge prizes, as shown in the chart here.

2) What is the payout structure?

Each tournament has a minimum prize pool that initially is split between the top three ranking players. The more players who participate at a tournament table, the higher the prize pool gets, and the number of players paid out also increases.

3) How often do tournaments occur?

There’s a tournament with a different buy-in of 1K, 2.5K, 10K, and 50K happening every 15 minutes. The mega-sized 1 million chip prize pool tournaments with the 100K buy-in occur every night at midnight GMT.

4) What are the leaderboards and how do the Champ points work?

At the end of each tournament, the top 10 ranking players are awarded one Champ point multiplied by the number of players in the tournament, plus the following:

All the Champ points get totalled up daily and players’ rankings are shown in the Leaderboard found in the tournament lobby. There you can see how you stack up against your friends and the rest of the Yazino world.

5) How are Weekly Champs selected?

Every Tuesday at 11PM GMT, all the Champ points are totalled up, and the 1^st place winner is awarded a trophy and a place in the Hall of Fame. The top 3 players are awarded chip prizes as shown here:

This is a big change from our prior tournament awards. We’ve just upped the top 3 prizes from 100,000 to a cool 1 million, 80,000 to 250,000 chips, and 60,000 to 100,000 chips!

5) How do I register for a tournament?

Once you login to Yazino, visit the tournament lobby for Blackjack or Texas Hold’em by selecting the game, then pressing the ‘Tournaments’ tab. Here you’ll see the next tournament about to start, just press Register to enter it. Clicking ‘See all Tournaments’ will show you the weekly leaderboard and full schedule.

1) From the game lobby header, select ‘view profile’ from the dropdown menu next to your name. This will pull up the overlay showing all the details we have linked to your account.

2) If you’ve registered through Facebook, you’ll see a box at the top right that says ‘Copy profile info from Facebook.’ That just means we’re pre-populating your profile information with what you use on Facebook. If you’d like to change it, just uncheck the box and you’ll be able to edit each section.

3) Click on the gray ‘Edit’ link on the right side of the overlay to open up the editor. Then just type in what you’d like to update your account with. For example, if you’re if you’ve always wanted your display name to be ‘SlotsQueen’ or ‘PokerAce,’ here’s your chance!

Also, just a quick word on editing your ‘communication email’ – this will adjust where you receive our news, promotions, and player support emails. It won’t, however, affect your login details. You may want to update your communication email if, say, you use a different email address regularly that you didn’t register with and want to make sure to not miss out on special offers from us.

4) Once you’re done editing, press the ‘Close’ button on the overlay screen and voila, you’re all up to date.
