Architecture and Interior Photography – yo:HA @ Henderson

We did an architecture and interior shoot for a new student hostel – yo:HA @ Henderson, located at Henderson Road, near Tiong Bahru MRT station.

The hostel has a capacity of 500 beds in more than 100 rooms with different configuration of 4-6 person per room. All rooms are fully furnished with double beds, individual study table, wardrobe, table lamp, air-conditioning and unlimited wireless internet access.

There are common facilities such as laundry area, pantry, gym and outdoor basketball court, badminton/sepak takraw court and a barbecue pit.

I have been taking photo of this sweet little Japanese girl every once a year and this is the third year in a row. It is so nice to have her back in the studio and the feeling was great to be able to witness and document her growth. She is a little shy but she had the smile melts my heart!

Blogging about travel and travel photos…

I have been resisting the temptation to post travel photos on this blog for a long time, reason being that this blog was initially setup with the purpose of promoting my photography services. Over the past, my travel photos were posted mainly on Facebook, Flickr and Google+. I am encouraged by the feedback and the comments on the images given by fellow photographers and viewers. With the growing interest on my travel images and the frequent mail that asked questions on how I capture them, I have decided to plunge into blogging on my travel and travel photos. I was contemplating whether to start a new blog solely for travel or to just simply update here. After taking into consideration of the cost and time factor, I think I will just do it here… at least for now. Who knows – one day I may eventually start a travel blog….
