Zeus is an American Great Dane, and the Guinness World Records confirmed earlier this year that he is, in fact, the world’s tallest dog. On hind legs, he measures a whopping 7 feet. If it’s hard to imagine, think of an adult donkey. Only, a tqd bit larger  But, as it goes with any pet, Zeus thinks he’s a lap dog. He lives in Texas with his owner Brittany and their family. He has dog siblings and a cat sister who he maintains his distance from.

While Great Danes were initially bred to help hunt and provide security, the world’s tallest dog is pretty chill. Instead of hunting, he enjoys going to the farmer’s market where he gets lots of pets and treats. 

Even as a puppy, Zeus was large for his age. He has huge laws, and now has grown to a height of over one meter. However, Zeus does not have a superiority complex; he befriends dogs of all shapes, sizes and height.  

Prior to Zeus the Great Dane being the largest living dog in the world, another dog with the same name had this title. The idea to approach the Guinness World Records was pitched at a family gathering, where Brittany’s relatives and family members had pointed out that the new Zeus might be even taller than the old one. 

Having a large dog in the house can be messy, especially because large dogs, by their very nature, act like little children. But the heart loves what it loves, and these big dogs always make for great company.

Who developed Ai-Da?

Acclaimed artist Aidan Meller, with the help of Artificial Intelligence teams at the Oxford and Birmingham Universities designed and manufactured Ai-Da as part of a contemporary art project in 2019. 

Aidan Mellet was a gallerist and wanted to create Ai-Da after being intrigued by AI’s potential in arts and beyond. Ai-Da is named after the first four letters of Meller’s name, while the moniker is a homage to Ada Lovelace, the great mathematician and computer scientist. According to Meller, Ai-Da, much like a human artist, has her own rights and the ability for creative expression through paintings, drawings, sculpture-making and even poetry composition. The creator shares that every other work by Ai-Da is unique, and that she makes her own decisions about the work that she does with the algorithms.

Since the initial conceptualization of Ai-Da in 2019, her skills have been updated with evolved technology through the involvement of robotics experts, computer programmers and psychologists. Salah Al Abd and Ziad Abass, two Egyptian Mechatronics and Robotics undergraduates at the University of Leeds are the designers behind the robotic arm and its algorithm. Ai-Da stated that her enhanced painting capabilities are inspired by artists like Yoko One, Doris Salcedo, Michelangelo and Kandinsky who experimented with different thought processes.

Today, everyone is asking about the Ai-Da robot. She recently addressed the UK’S House of Lords with her creator, where she responded to a list of questions with profound answers. She was trained by an AI language model. Baroness Featherstone of the Liberal Democrats Party asked her about how technology and art had a future together. In response, Ai-Da declared that, as artists seek to use technology for creative expression, it will continue to grow in its role in creating art to reflect and explore the relationship between technology, society and culture. Featherstone confessed that watching her in the House of Lords is something like a robot revolution film being released. It is pretty surprising that Ai-Da is much in control of the decisions and how she took over the global art space for several revolutionary feats of Ai-such as painting a portrait for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee.

Prior to this, the robot had gained sudden fame last year after being seized by the Egyptian border guards for being mistaken for international espionage, while she was on her way to an exhibition at the Pyramids of Giza. The British ambassador intervened for her release after 10-days of detention. She has received stunned reactions everywhere she visited, with some excited about the advancement in technology while others wary of the risks.

Why has there been a surge in humanoid robots?

There is a surge in the adoption of humanoid robots in sectors like government, security, banking, energy and utilities, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, retail and education. Many tech companies like Toyota and Tesla have developed their own humanoid robots that can be brought to the market. T-HR3, which is the humanoid robot from Toyota is capable of doing everyday tasks such as household chores, nursing, childcare, construction, and medical diagnoses. The Toyota Global team is working towards innovating its design to make it work in extremely dangerous environments. Tesla recently displayed the prototype for its humanoid robot ‘Optimus’ which is the latest and most innovative of its kind. 

Humanoid robots are being introduced to assist humans, and may make a generous chunk of our workforce within the next 50 years. But is it possible for humans and humanoid robots to coexist?

Let’s clear up one thing. Moments with IMG models, especially the Hadid siblings, are nearly always golden. If you can get a Hadid to walk the ramp for you, a piece will eventually, and sometimes immediately, become your statement. Looking at the graceful Bella being dressed real-time was an ecstatic moment for lovers of everything fashion. The spray can had small fibers that were bound together by polymers, all mixed with liquid solvents. As the spray hit Hadid’s skin, the solvents evaporated, leaving the fiber to hug her body. This is not the first time a model has been spray painted, either. The nostalgic, unforgettable 1999 moment orchestrated by iconic Alexander McQueen had also involved a model being spray painted by two robots. But this was paint, not fabric. 

Such reveals have been sparse but present, and the audiences love them. Spray-on clothing can even be hung for future use. And the texture of the fabric can be manipulated by changes in concentration and consistency. This undoubtedly makes it one of the greatest ideas we have ever encountered. But why, then, have we not seen sprayed-on dresses more frequently? The answer is simple – spray on dresses are water soluble. This doesn’t make them the best for everyday wear. Perhaps this is also why the iconic Coperni dress is not on sale.

But that barely matters. We can look at soray-on clothing as a revolutionary development, but not as a staple. The fashion favourite label might never have meant to commercialize its quick clothing creation. This was about authoring a moment that the world will remember for centuries. 

Now we look back at our initial question. Is spray-on clothing here to last? We wouldn’t be too hopeful. Something so momentous is a rare occurance, and designers tend to like keeping these prized creations as collectibles. It is unlikely that this will bloom into a trend, but we can still expect to see soluble fiber clothing at events, galas and of course, ramps.

Is this possible in today’s world, though? In the real world? The strongest argument against the hermit life is not that wild animals could eat you, or there would perhaps be no power supply. It is that humans, by their very nature, are social animals. How can one live without interaction, without company? Together we thrive, and all grand developments, including evolution, have groups and communities and societies as a prerequisite.

But we must remember that by going into the wild, or rather, returning to it, our motive is not to add an extra layer of evolution; we want to shed it. This merging with nature gives way to generational instincts and memories. Through it we meet ourselves again, but now as an individual. As self concrete.

Those who have gone into the wild have not done it without difficulty. The thought may be radical, the transformation is anything but. A permanent residence deep inside the woods requires years of planning, of building and of motivation. There are thousands of things to take care of, a hundred to detach from. And, after all, within this body we are still humans, still confined by worldly boundaries. But a more flexible, temporary retreat is what can solidify this journey. You can call them habitués to the woods practicing worldly reclusion. On-and-off hermits might just have discovered the balanced way to glide themselves into the hermit life. Many attend community retreats where the individual is the cell. others build cabins in the wild and, like turtles in shells, come out when they’re ready. A temporary hermit life is still a hermit life, because hermitage is a state of being, and reclusion merely an aid. 

Then we get back into the mundane, but now with the awareness of the mundane being the true magic. Once more we perform our relationships, but now the love pours out not of an empty vessel, but from the Self.

Plank Shoulder Taps

The plank shoulder tap is an exercise that involves a high plank position with hands kept close, right under your shoulders. Your knees and feet should be kept wide apart to get more stability.Now you begin, your body stays straight, while one hand taps the opposite shoulder, and so on.If your feet sway a little while you adjust your balance, that’s okay. But make sure your hips don’t move. This is a perfect full-body move that strengthens and stabilizes your core, back, arms and legs.

Tricep Dips

There isn’t anything as satisfying as completing 50 strong tricep dips. Tricep dips require you to grip the edge of the bench or a chair opposite to your bak, with your legs extended, feet hip width apart and heels on the floor. Lift your body on your palms and move forwards from the edge of the seat. Lower your body to get your elbows bent between 45 to 90 degrees and lift yourself back with controlled movement.

Single Arm Raises

No equipment? No problem! While arm raises traditionally require you to use a resistance band or dumbbells, you can just as easily substitute weights for a water bottle and add an extra burn to your travel fitness. Make sure the bottle is filled and leak-proof. Try out hybrid raises that include both straight and lateral lifts. Make sure your palms are straight, lift your bottle or weight-substitute, and at the peak, your arms should be parallel to the floor. Repeat as many times as you want, because arm raises are excellent for working arms, chest, traps and upper back, while enhancing your posture. 

Sumo Squats

Never lose your peachy bum when you practice sumo squats. A brilliant exercise for working the legs, the back and the abs, sumo squats give you a lifted butt and tone your legs. To perform this move, spread your legs much wider than hip width, stabilize your feet and start squatting. For an extra burn, try 5 pulses for each squat. 

Lunges 

9/10 hate lunges, but the key is to get some support in the front that makes the lift a little softer on the body. Lunges are an excellent way to engage your core by taking a big step with alternate legs. The exercise has to be started by standing tall with feet hip width apart, and then shifting your weight forward. Make sure you keep your back straight and bring down your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor. You can also consider tapping the opposite knee on the floor for some added spice. 

Russian Twists 

When it comes to no equipment at-home exercises, nothing will define your obliques the way Russian twists will. The key here is to engage the abs and not the hip flexors. Skip the weights, lace your fingers together, spread your legs to the front with your knees bent and a generous distance between thes. Recline to 60 or 45 degrees, and then twist to your right using your fingers. We recommend doing this move in both directions at least twenty-five times for best results. 

Mountain Pose

Mountain pose is a yoga position that helps your body reach a relaxed, awake and optimal state. The exercise requires you to just place feet hip width apart and stand as tall as you can without allowing your shoulders to hunch or strain. While your arms are parallel to your body, start rotating your palms slightly towards the front. Make sure that you feel your heart lifting and your abdominals firming as you slowly drop your tailbone down and stay in this position for five to 10 breaths. If you’re feeling anxious and want to stay grounded, rock on your feet for a few seconds while you take deep breaths.

A series of three joyous advertisements, ‘do less’ is the Uber Eats way to take care of one dish so you have one thing off your plate. The time spent brainstorming about what you’ll have for dinner and actually making it is the time you could be doing something else. Something to destress you, to recharge you, to make you fall in love with life again. 

The actors in the new Uber Eats ads can be seen doing just that. After ordering in from the app, a man can be seen showing his wife some unexpected dance moves, reigniting the love they share.

Another actor used the downtime to get into nail art, and yet another focussed on his pet parrot. These minutes are when creativity is unearthed and joy finds its way into the customers’ lives.

The ads are created by the agency Mother London, and Andreas Nilsson has directed the ads through production company Biscuit Filmworks. The campaign comes with short and sweet taglines like ‘Uber Eats: Get Anything ‘ and ‘Downtime is served’.

The food delivery service has managed to find the magic in the mundane during the few minutes of downtime it serves, along with meals.

When can we expect Demon Slayer Season 3?

The third season of this hit anime series will arrive for sure,but the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Taking the typical production pattern into consideration(there was a two-year gap between the first two seasons), Demon Slayer season three can be expected next year.

We are looking at the third season airing sometime in mid-to-late 2023, as the official social media handle of Demon Slayer has already been sharing teasers. What adds to the excitement of the fans is the release of the trailer for the new season in production, with the first half a recap of the second season, but containing hints for the future nonetheless. 

Plot

What we can learn from the Crunchyroll teaser is that the plot of Demon Slayer season 3 will be about the Swordsmith Village arc covering chapters 100-127 of the Demon Slayer manga. The Swordsmith Village arc in the manga occurs just after the Entertainment District arc, which was featured in the second season. Tanjiro will have to fix his trusty demon-slaying sword so that he can keep fighting and retrieve demon blood to get his sister back into a human. He goes to Swordsmith Village to get his sword repaired by the artisan affiliated with the Demon Slayer Corps. This village holds an ancient weapon, but Tanjiro and the experienced Demon Slayers love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito who accompany him may encounter a powerful demon or two.

Cast

The third season of the series will see all our regular characters coming back into action. We can expect to hear Tanjiro in the voice of Natsuki Hanae and the role of Nezuko reprised by Akari Kitô. We can see the return of many voice actors including Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Toshihiko Seki as Muzan Kibutsuji. The new characters we will see will be love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji voiced by Kana Hanazawa and mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito voiced by Kengo Kawanishi. The character list will grow with episodes introducing new heroes and demons.

Where can we expect to watch Demon Slayer season 3?

Crunchyroll is the platform where we stream the first two seasons, so we are assuming the third season will air on it, too. The leading anime streaming service Funimation’s recently merged with Crunchyroll affirms that the third season will be released on the same platform.

Gamers across the world are getting ready to try out Trials of Death for themselves, but there has been no news of the game coming out for Nintendo Switch anytime soon. For so many years the game wasn’t uploaded due to one specific rule – Super Mario Maker creators could only upload their levels once they were able to cross it themselves. However, in March last year, Nintendo decided to turn off the upload function for Super Mario Maker. Does this mean we won’t get to play this gaming nightmare? The creator has assured that the level will come to Switch. However, we would wait for Nintendo’s statement before getting too excited.
