style="text-align: justify;">We were out today, as usual, to do our grocery shopping and I was so fascinated with all the lilies that were in full bloom. They were all over the city and they would surely make beautiful liliy bouquets.

There were yellow and orange and they were so lovely I wanted to pick them all. LOL. Kudos to the city for choosing the right flowers to beautify the city. Maybe I can put some in our flower beds, huh? Hmmm! Absolutely a good idea!

Baked Mussels

My husband's choice when we had our lunch in a seafood restaurant at Baltimore's Inner Harbor. He is so into biscuits now that whenever we dine out for breakfast, it is the biscuits that he looks for.

So yesterday, the husband and I prepared the biscuits together and I didn’t realize how easy they were to prepare. We were done preparing in ten minutes and the biscuits that looked like miniature bean bag chairs were cooked after ten minutes.

My son was so happy he ate almost all of them. Good thing he gave me and my husband one each or we wouldn’t have tasted the results of our work. LOL. They were really good. I’ll buy more this weekend.

Summer's 2nd Birthday Cake

My niece, Summer turned two on May 5 and she had her birthday party at Jollibee. The windows are still in good condition with no cracks but they are simply outdated. I like the newer ones with white trim because they are neat. What we have now have black trim which is something that I would not have chosen if I was to choose one. But all of them came with the house so basically, I have to live with them whether I like them or not, not unless I have the money to update them.

That is among the many goals that I have - update the windows, or, better yet, buy a totally new house instead. When I will have the money, that is, or when I win the lottery perhaps? The problem is, I don’t buy tickets. LOL.

Seriously, the husband and I have our plans and goals when it comes to our domain, and we are doing our best to achieve those. Hopefully we will be able to achieve them in the near future. Do wish us the bestest of luck!

My Simple Menu

Corned beef hash. That was what I had for breakfast today, and since I still have leftovers, it was what I had again for lunch. I was alone and more often than not, I am lazy to cook when I’m here by myself. Besides, hash is delicious, not to mention, I will save energy by not cooking.

That was not something new by the way because eating leftovers is something that I’ve been doing even way back when I was in my home country. Actually, if there is a disease for eating the same food twice or thrice in a day, I would have gotten that disease already. LOL. For as long as it is not papillary mesothelioma though. Nah, just kidding.

Seriously, there is nothing wrong with eating leftovers. A lot of people all over the world are suffering from hunger. Wasting food is something that is really unacceptable. Leftovers are something to be thankful for.

Breakfast at Bob Evans

What I like best when we travel is sampling the different cuisines and food from different restaurants. On our second breakfast in Maryland, the husband took us to Bob Evans. We don't have the resto here in the city that was why the husband took us there. He pretty well knew how to satisfy my palate. And... the food were superb! Good choice, Hon!

This was my plate. I am already trying to plan everything this early, from the cake to the food and the décor. I haven’t thought of a theme yet, but I do have an idea of what his cake will look like.

Since he loves to smoke, I am not going to give him a cake that is shaped like a cigarette. Instead, it will be in a shape of a cigar with a lot of accessory cigars around it. That is a way of telling him to quit smoking and try cigars instead. LOL. He’ll be amused for sure.

Playing While I Eat; Something I Tell My Son Not to Do

For my lunch today? What An Odd Combination

I decided to have chicken for dinner tonight. I didn’t want to repeat my previous creations, so I checked for chicken recipes online and one of the recipes that I came across was soup number 9. Have you heard of that? They say that the soup can actually increase your libido. I don’t know the facts so I don’t know if it is really true or not.

I came across libido max side effects too. I was checking for chicken recipes and here I am, reading about the side effects. Well, it always pays to read, doesn’t it? I will for sure continue my chicken recipe hunting once I am done reading.

They’re a Blast From the Past

The band ‘Chicago’ is one of my husband’s favorites. I like them too because they certainly have talent. We watched their concert one night - their concert in Chicago, their home of birth, that my husband recorded on his DVR. I think the concert was in the early 2000’s. They are all middle aged now, but they can still rock ‘n roll!

I love the way they make use of percussion - simply unique. Yay!

For certain my son will be spending much of his time playing with his playstation or probably playing wii games with the kids next door. Well, it’s his vacation so I will let him enjoy it to the maximum level. He certainly deserves it because he’s been such a good student.

I Hate it When That Happens

Isn’t it annoying when you’ve already checked out and when you went back to browse the site, you missed or overlooked something that you really like? I just thought of posting it now after I craved for one. Our Valentine's Day is never complete without chocolates. Well, what can I say? My husband is as sweet as them. Wooot!

The 'Whitman's' was mine and the small one was our son's. It was my first time to receive mail from them and though I wasn’t expecting such mail, it didn’t surprise me at all because I’m already used to receiving unexpected mail whether through e-mail or through snail mail.

But what really surprised me was the prices of the goods that they were offering to me which they claimed were the best savings I could get for my websites. The prices were totally unreasonable. It was way too much as opposed to my current trusted company. To be honest, I am enjoying the best web hosting as well as domain renewals for my personal websites for the whole year through at one third the cost of what they were offering. It was, to say the least, pricey.

Nonetheless, it made me realize that I have chosen the best company for my web hosting as well as the best company for my domain name registration. They have been my trusted company for years now and I do believe they will forever be. Thanks to my girlfriend who showed me the right way by introducing to me her trusted company.

He says, “Why bother? After all the years the damage is done.”

Yesterday was such a beautiful day. It is still winter, but it already felt like spring. It actually felt like summer to me. I totally felt the heat of the sun on my skin. So, while we were checking for plants at Lowe’s, I had to find shade while the husband was busy checking for fertilizers and mulch.

My husband loves being under the sun. He works out in the yard which kinds of worries me because he doesn’t like putting on sunscreen which is a must. I even told him once to get the best sunless tanning spray instead if he wants to get tan so, he’s sure that he won’t get any skin damage. But he can be stubborn at times, you know. Well, maybe I just have to do what I need to do. Buy a tanning spray and spray it on him whether he likes it or not.

Hubby's Birthday Cake

With the help of our neighbor, I was able to bake a cake for the first time. Obviously, it is made of oatmeal but formed into a pie. It is delicious. My son and I both love it except for one thing - the filling. It simply is way too sweet for our palate. The husband likes it so much that he can gobble three in one sitting, or maybe more. LOL.

It is what I had for lunch today, actually. My mouth was busy munching on it while my eyes were busy reading about this article on Golden Eagle buy gold online. The pie actually looked like a gold coin to me for a sec. Heehee.

Only the Best For Me

I don’t settle for anything less. I always go for the best and that goes for everything in my life. From the needs to the wants, name it, it is always well thought out by me. But that doesn’t mean it has to be expensive and such. You can always have the best without hurting your wallet and that’s where wise spending comes in, not to mention, being resourceful too. They come together on my list and that is why I’ve never been in debt and never will be.

That is my mantra and I also apply that when it comes to things that are needed for my personal websites. I always go for the cheapest I can find in regard to web hosting services without sacrificing the quality of the service. One trick that I use, I go to sites that gives honest reviews about companies listing the best of best and reviewing their price, performance and score. One such site is best cloud hosting. I doubt you will get any better help and information than they offer. It has been proven and tested not only by me, but by many people already. Take a look and you shall see.

My Most Fave Doughnuts of All Time

I've noticed that I had been craving for doughnuts these past few months. I do believe it had something to do with that 'girl thing' because it was some kind of like a once in a month scenario. And the last time I craved? Guess when? February! Can't you tell by those hearts on the box cover? LOL.

The husband was at work that time and I called him to buy me some. And as always, he didn't fail me. He bought me a dozen of my favorite doughnuts, Krispy Kreme! The husband made used of those hearts on V-day. He cut them and glued them on the chocolate's box that he gave me. That really amused me. I didn't know my hubby is very creative.
