Behold, my current baby, my garden. Thus far we have Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Green Peppers, Hot Peppers, Snow Peas, Spinach, Beets, Beans, Swiss Chard, Onions, Cucumbers, Radishes & Zuchinni planted. Still need to get the Carrots & Pumpkins in (hopefully tomorrow) and then no more planting, at least until mid-August when we can put in a second round of Spinach, Peas & Radishes.

Late Spring/early Summer tends to be hot here in Virginia and as a result we end up with alot of very loud and dramatic thunderstorms that seem to all of a sudden appear out of nowhere and are over just as fast–after a half hour of menacing thunderings and lightnings with torrential downpour. I took this shot of part of our backyard from our side porch just as one of these huge thunderstorms was getting ready to bear down on us at any second.
