Sungguh menyakitkan mencintai seseorang yang tidak mencintaimu, tetapi lebih menyakitkan adalah mencintai seseorang dan kamu tidak pernah memiliki keberanian untuk menyatakan cintamu kepadanya.

Salat merupakan sarana mendidik jiwa dan memperbaharui semangat sertasebagai penyucian akhlak. Ia adalah tali penguat pengendali diri,pelipur lara, penyejuk jiwa dan pengaman dari rasa takut dan cemas. Iaakan menghancurkan kelemahan dan akan menjadi senjata ampuh bagi merekayang merasa terasingkan.

Perhaps that is the attraction of the agricultural Facebook application, which has somehow managed to attract more than 49 million users since it was launched in June — proving that if you're anybody worth knowing on Facebook, you must be a farmer.

FarmVille, produced by Zynga (the same people who produced the popular game MafiaWars), is a simple social game in which players create and manage virtual farms. Tending to crops, growing (which actually takes real-time hours and days), harvesting and selling them earns users money and experience points. Then, you can buy more crops, animals, farm equipment and outbuildings.

You can also invite your friends to come and farm in the plot next to yours, and help them out by watering or harvesting their crops for them. If you're feeling really generous, you can even buy them a cow as a gift.

It's addictive. So addictive, in fact, that the makers cunningly tempt you — if you're too impatient to wait for your crops to grow — to pay for extra “farm coins” via credit card (well, they had to be making money somehow).

Anyone who is a fan of Facebook gaming will probably have noticed FarmVille's similarity to Farm Town — a predecessor which does pretty much all the same things, except with a few extra features such as a marketplace and a saloon where you can meet other players and even get a job on one of their farms. But Farm Town is languishing at 18.8 million users.
It is, frankly, just not the trendy town to farm in. It's like Bromley to FarmVille's Shoreditch. No, if you want to be seen in the right place this season, you'll be heading to FarmVille.

Virus Flu, Memakan Puluhan Juta Korban Jiwa

Influenza atau yang biasa disingkat flu, udah jadi penyakit mematikan buat manusia sejak ribuan tahun.

Hari Kamis, 11 Juni 2009, WHO menyatakan flu babi alias flu Meksiko atau ada juga yang menyebutnya H1N1 sebagai penyakit pandemik. Dengan status pandemik berarti flu Meksiko udah menyebar ke seluruh dunia dan berbahaya. Ini pertama kalinya flu ditetapkan sebagai pandemik dalam 41 tahun terakhir. Virus flu yang satu ini udah memakan banyak korban jiwa.

Berikut sejarah dan fakta-fakta virus flu :

Penyakit flu yang dialami manusia pertama kali disebut dalam sejarah sekitar 1400 tahun lalu. Sejak itu, beberapa kasus pandemik virus terdapat dalam sejarah.
Pandemik virus flu pertama terjadi tahun 1580. Virus itu awalnya berasal dari Rusia lalu menyebar ke Eropa melalui Afrika. Di Roma (Italia), 8000 orang meninggal, beberapa kota di Spanyol juga terkena. Abad ke-17 dan 18 juga terjadi di Eropa yang menjangkit ribuan orang.
Virus flu paling mematikan terjadi di musim dingin tahun 1918-1919. Virus yang dinamai "Flu Spanyol" itu menyebar cepat ke seluruh dunia dan membunuh antara 20 - 50 juta orang. Ketika itu belum ada vaksin dan dokter belum tahu cara penyebaran virus itu. Korban meninggal akibat flu ini lebih banyak dibanding korban Perang Dunia l.
"Asian Flu" menyebar tahun 1957-1958, tapi untungnya dokter sudah mengembangkan vaksin dan mulai memerangi virus. Meski begitu, Flu Asia ini tetap menelan korban jiwa 70 ribu orang meninggal di Amerika.
Flu pandemik berikutnya terjadi tahun 1968 yang dikenal dengan "Flu Hong Kong". Berkat vaksin, korban meninggal jauh berkurang.
Mulai tahun 2004, virus "Flu Burung (avian flu)" jadi pandemik. Korban meninggal flu ini paling banyak di Indonesia yaitu mencapai 115 orang.

Tipe atau subtipe virus flu bermacam - macam :

Flu Burung bertipe H5N1.
Flu Meksiko yang kini sedang ganas tipenya H1N1, sama dengan Flu Spanyol.
Flu Asia dan Flu Rusia jenis H2N2.
Flu Hongkong tipenya jenis H3N2.

Virus flu menular melalui berbagai media yang sering kita pakai. Seseorang yang kena flu, bisa membawa virusnya ke mana-mana. Bila ia habis bersin dan menutupnya dengan tangan, lalu tangannya memegang gagang pintu, telepon, sendok, dan lain sebagainya, maka virus itu akan menempel ditempat - tempat tersebut dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Cuci tangan secara teratur.
Biasakan tangan enggak menyentuh mulut, hidung, atau mata sering - sering.
Biasakan setiap hari minum air dan vitamin, terutama vitamin C. Ini agar daya tahan tubuh tetap baik. Virus akan sulit masuk jika daya tahan tubuh kita baik karena gizi kita terpenuhi.
Makan teratur dan minum air yang cukup.
