Our Center Valley office is a drop off location for Project Keep Warm and will be accepting donations until December 31st. PLEASE won't you help? What's the difference between Botox and Dermal Fillers?

Do you know the difference between Botox & Dermal Fillers? Many people confuse them.

When you make an expression and lines form on your face and then go away when you stop making that expression, those lines are called dynamic lines (like the little number 11 between your eyebrows). If you stop making that expression and the lines stay, those are static lines.

Botox & Dysport are neurotoxins. They are used on the muscles that make dynamic lines and they relax those muscles before the lines become permanent.

Dermal Fillers are used to fill in static lines that are there regardless of what expression you are making. Plus, they are used to fill in deep folds, acne scars, sunken cheeks, fuller lips, anywhere volume and lift is needed for the face and even the tops of your hands. The uses for dermal fillers are really vast and not all dermal fillers are the same and are used in the same indication.
