I can't say enough good things about this band - I've been hooked on their new CD, Stages, since my first listen!

If you think you haven't heard them you're probably wrong - especially if you happened to catch The Hills on MTV recently. Vedera was featured on the show during an Epic Showcase, and several of their songs appeared throughout the episode.

The band is fronted by, Kristen May, whose voice is artistic and powerful. The band's "indie-pop" flare is exhibited quite well on their sophomore album, and I encourage all of you to check it out! Click the banner on the side to receive a free download of their new single, "Satisfy".

Back from that "Soul" Vacation...

Train, easily remembered for their hit "Drops of Jupiter", is back on the scene and preparing for the release of their fifth studio album. The album, "Save me San Francisco" is set to release on October 27th. However, Billboard.com is exclusively streaming the band's new single "Hey Soul Sister", a catchy upbeat song with a great folk-rock feel.

The Script is about to shoot the video (US version) for their new single “Breakeven”, but first they need your help!

Submit a video of yourself to The Script's YouTube group singing and/or lip-synching along to the song, and your clip could be featured in the music video! Be creative and do whatever you can to express the emotions “Breakeven” brings out in you — react to the song, make it your own and most importantly, have fun!

Looks like the boys from Memphis, Tenn-A-Key are just about done putting the finishing touches on their new album. According to BILLBOARD, the duo are weeks away from finishing up their next LP, "Laws of Power," due out November 10.

The group has already chosen the first two singles for the project. "Shake My" is a Rodney Jerkins produced track, while the second single titled "Lil Freak (Ugh Ugh Ugh)" is the "gangsta" single. Check the Billboard link for more details.

AC/DC Black Ice Tour @ Giants Stadium

When I headed out of work on Friday evening the weather couldn’t have been worse - I made my way to the subway in the middle of a torrential downpour. I was disappointed about the rain given that the AC/DC show was at Giant’s stadium – but in true rock and roll fashion, the show must go on. However, as luck would have it the rain subsided by the time the first opener took the stage.

The stadium was packed with fans, a majority of them were wearing the red blinking “devil horns”. The show began with a video in which Angus was depicted as a devil riding a train that appeared to be out of control. Angus had to decide whether to jump off the train and as soon he did – CRASH! A huge train burst onto the middle of the stage as AC/DC opened with “Rock and Roll Train” – the crowd went wild. The rest of the set was pretty much a blur – filled with face melting guitar solos, confetti, fireworks, and too much fist pumping. This is a tour that should not be missed, and an opportunity to see one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

All Points West Recap

Wow. So I told you all I would be mingling throughout All Points West this weekend. And I was... Sort of. For those of you in the Tri-State area it was a wet weather weekend up here. But I managed to make an appearance Friday night as you can see from the snapshot of the ticket above.

I was lucky enough to catch Jay-Z do his set on Friday night as he opened with a tribute to the Beastie Boys as well as a brief tribute to Michael Jackson as well. It took me like an hour to hike from the Light Rail to the main stage area a a trudged through mud and puddles for three miles though. Had to get some new kicks after that fiasco, but oh well.

Saturday brought about good weather and some nice performances I was told. The Ting Tings came out and and blessed the crowd with their bubbly British pop sounds.

Sunday brought about thinderstorms that resulted in some delays and sets being cancelled but the day was capped off with a nice show by MGMT who are going be making even bigger moves this fall with features on a certain someones upcoming album. Coldplay closed the weekend with their set.

All in all, despite the mud and rain, concert goers enjoyed the weekend and the everything that All Points West had to offer.

Wyclef Reaches 600,000 Twitter Followers

Looks like the man who was semi-reluctant to jump on the Twitter train is now using it to his full advantage. During an April show in San Francisco, Twitter founder Evan Williams and investor Chris Sacca set up his Twitter account and his followers just kept rolling in.

Three months later, Wyclef has surpassed 600,000 followers! Goodness, if I only I could get the ball rolling like that. Can you guys out there help me?! I want to get to at least 1,000. If you guys can make it happen maybe, just maybe, I'll throw out a ticket contest or some autographed merch. But I digress.

Congratulations to Wyclef. Twitter is a big thing nowadays that can be used for so much. Glad to see artists utilizing it the right way. And if you're not following @wyclef, @youresopop or me, then get with it.

Chris Brown Gets a Sales Boost

Look what YouTube can do. Just days after Chris Breezy released his apology, this YouTube video pops up all over the internet and as gotten more than 12 million views! Wow. It also got coverage everywhere including the Today Show.

Well anyway, the video shows this wild dance off wedding entrance that this couple threw together last minute for their wedding and features Chris Brown's "Forever" in it. Since the video was discovered on YouTube, sales for "Forever" have gone up 1,721% from the previous week getting 50,000 downloads. Talk about perfect timing.

All Points West Starts Tomorrow

Ok, ok, ok. I know some of you might be slum and slow to the punch so I have to throw this post up for you. All Points West is going down this weekend. Now, if you don't know, All Points West is a three day music festival thats going down in Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ across the river from NYC.

This year acts performing include Chairlift, The Ting Tings, MGMT, and is headlined by the one and only Jay-Z who just took his Roc Nation imprint over to Sony for a distribution deal. Keep in mind that Mr. Carter always has some tricks up his sleeve for his shows and news just broke of an MGMT collaboration on his upcoming Blueprint 3 album. So who knows what could go down.
