The reason is because it may be too competitive to start with. So if you are in the making money niche don’t start with something like ‘make money online’, that is just too competitive. You could start with ‘internet money making marketing’ or something like that. The reasons are that they have the same meaning, it is longer and it would be less competitive. And you will also catch the ‘marketing’ audience as well as the ‘make money’ audience. This is why it is better to use your head most times. A computer won’t likely think like this because it cannot do more than it has been programmed to do. Another example would be for one in the losing weight niche. Instead of going with lose weight or burn fat you can go with something like ‘gain less size’. Again with this you have avoided competitive keywords like lose, calories, pounds, weight etc. This is another reason why your brain works better.
Keyword Density: After selecting a keyword, the next thing would be how many times the keyword would appear. This is the whole essence of keyword (KW) density. There are also a lot of internet tools that can help you calculate the KW density of your article or content. But if you want to work your brain and you love some maths, you can calculate it manually. Your KW density is the number of times your keyword appeared divided by the total word count of the article. And since this is in percentage you should multiply the answer by 100. Let us take an example; I have a 500 word article with my KW appearing 9 times. My KW density would be 9/500 x100 = 1.8%. If you didn’t get this please just use an online KW density tool; you can find many of them from search engines. But it is said that the average KW density should be between 2-2.5%.
Appropriate Keyword Usage: This is very important and it is the reason behind the average KW density. And unlike what a newbie would think, too much KW can actually have a negative effect on your content. Most people that are new to the issue of KW may just start putting a particular KW many times. This may cause your content to be suspected as being malicious by search engines and it may be relegated way down. This is certainly not too good for your content or website. So try to use the average KW density. Little or no KW is also not good as this means that your content will struggle in search engines.
Let It Blend: Finally a lot of persons just put KWs into their article body anyhow. So you can find a sentence like ‘this is a very great use food broilers for you’. The KW here is supposed to be ‘use food broilers’. But the way it was used above doesn’t really make any sense. A better way to write this sentence would be, ‘this is a great broiler for anyone that loves to use food broilers’. So try to make sure that your KW blends with your story and sentence. Don’t just use them anyhow because you want to get a 2% KW density.

We have spoken about SEO, what it means and how best to use keywords. Another related topic would be what is LSI? As a newbie you may not come across LSI first. The major issue would be for you to master the use of keywords. LSI means Latent Semantic Indexing. To many people they see it as a secondary keyword (KW). This is the solution that some people use to outsmart search engines. Since it is risky to use a particular KW several times over, people now use a mixture of KWs and LSI KWs. These LSI KWs are seen as secondary KWs. They are somehow related but different from the primary (or major KW). It helps your article to be able to have more KWs on a particular topic without the fear of being relegated by search engines. The LSI KWs could be more than one just the way your primary KW can be more than one also. But it is advisable that your primary KW should be at most 2. You can have up to four LSI KWs, it depends on you. But they must be different. You can use each LSI KWs at least 2 times in your article body, this also depends on you. This may be looking confusing so I will use an article to explain this. If I am writing on LCD flat screen TV for example, let us see how I can use the KWs and LSI KWs. For this topic my KW can be either LCD flat screen or LCD flat monitor or both. While my LSI KWs could be; flat monitor, LCD TV, flat screen TV, flat screen monitor etc. All these will provide your content with more phrases relating to your topic. The phrases are not the same but they will help improve the search engine ranking of your article or content. And since it is not one KW you won’t be relegated by search engines for over using one KW. This is the general concept of LSI, its usage and meaning. They will help you get the best from search engines to increase your website traffic.

We started this article by making us to see the need for us to improve our writing skills. And we added that it was one major way to earn big with online writing jobs. And this is going to help you to increase your earning potential as an online writer. I never knew that anyone could find fault with my writings until I started to write online. I started to see that although I was very good at creating great ideas, I was not as great in translating them into written form. So this made me to see that I had to improve my writing skills. Here are some of the ways that I used and I believe they will help you;

Always ask and take to correction; this may not be easy for some persons, especially the ones that feel that they are very talented. But if you want to become a better writer you will need to ask others for mistakes they saw with your writings. You will also need to accept and implement their corrections. Most times the person that corrects you may not even be as talented as you are. They may not even be able to imagine and ghostwrite as you do, but they will likely know more about English writing. So take their advice and implement it. It will be to your own writing success.
Write as much as you can and implement the corrections; this has been a major factor that has helped to improve my writing skills. The more articles you write, the better you are at writing and the more writing skills you develop. It will even help to broaden your thought pattern and improve your ghostwriting ability. But there is no point of writing plenty articles with the same errors. So implement the corrections as you write.
Write in short sentences; this will help to make your writing more readable. And writing is not really about the big grammar and complex sentence structure. Writing has more to do with making other people to be able to read what you have written. And I have come to see that this is one of the qualities of a good writer. So avoid complex sentences because a good writer is one that can write something that everyone can read and understand.
Educate yourself on your poor areas; there are a lot of free eBooks on English and grammar today. So if you are not very sound in an area in use of English, you can download a free eBook and read it to improve that area of your writing. This may be difficult for some people because not everybody likes reading. But if you can, it will surely be an added plus.
Finally never stop writing or give up because of a poor remark. When I started writing online I had poor remarks like bad grammar etc. But I have been using these steps and my writing has improved. A recent employer even wanted me to join his team because according to him I was a great writer.

I was not necessarily this good when I started. And I am still improving with a lot to improve on, even my grammar. But I didn’t let any bad remark discourage me. I kept on writing and today I am earning more than I used to do when I started writing. And I am working to improve my writing skills so that I can even earn more as a writer. This is one truth about writing online. The quality of your writing will always affect your pay positively. IS ONLINE WORK FOR ME

This is a question that I believe everyone that wants to work online must be able to answer. And if you cannot give some quality reasons why your answer is yes; then you may need to read the remaining part of this article to be sure that online work is truly for you. You see, online work can be seen as another profession/career just like Law, Medicine etc. And even though it is a part time job for most people, there are still a lot of people that generate their primary income from online work. Therefore, online work can today be seen as either a career or a profession. And just like any other professional not everyone can do it. For example, if you don’t like maths in high school you won’t be advised to study accounting or engineering. And if you don’t like biology or the sight of blood you may not be advised to study medicine. So just the way there are criteria to find out if a profession may be good for you or not, there are also criteria to help you discover if online work is for you or not. What you must also know is that money is not enough motivation most times. And I have personally turned down job offers with some great pay. The reason was not because I wasn’t enticed by the pay but because I just knew that the job was not my thing. I wouldn’t have enjoyed doing it and it may have been too stressful for me. So here are some facts that you must find out/know about yourself and online job. They will help you in knowing if online work is for you.

Do you like to take responsibility? Since online work is opened to teenagers, this is a good way to start. There are even some adults that don’t like extra stress and online work could sometimes be an extra stress. So if you are the type of person that likes to have a lot of fun-time, you may not be planning on getting an online work.
What is your computer expertise? I know virtually anyone in these age and time must be a computer literate. And even though some online work need little computer expertise like just being able to send an email; there are still some people that are not computer friendly. The truth is that if you are one of such persons, you may want to consider not working online.
Do you love spending hours with your computer? If you do, then you can turn those wasteful hours of fun browsing to useful hours of cash making. You can do simple data entry jobs. Also, it is not everyone that is comfortable with spending hours in front of a computer or a laptop. So if you are one of such persons you may not want to consider an online work because it is almost entirely a work from a computer. That is, you will do virtually all the work with and from your computer.
We must of course add the issue of cash. The truth is that not everybody needs extra cash because they have more than enough. But if you are not one of such persons you can consider getting an online work.
Are you lazy? This is a very relative question. But I will give you some hint that can help you determine if you are too lazy for an online work. The first hint is that if you cannot miss a favourite show or a sport game to complete a job task, then you may be too lazy for an online job. This is because you will have problem in meeting deadlines. Another hint would be how much spare time do you have? If you have a lot of spare time and you don’t mind doing some little job tasks, then you may just be okay for an online job.
If you have other very important things that you are doing such that you have little or no spare time; then you may want to pause on the issue of getting an online job.

There are a lot of advantages (pros) of online work from home. But there is a chance that you may not even know them. Most of the advantages we hear today about online jobs are actually an exaggeration of what online work is and can do. The truth is that online work has its own advantages and it also has its own disadvantages (cons). While online work has been great for some, it has also been a nightmare for others. In this article, we are going to examine both the disadvantages and the advantages of online work. You stand the risk of losing your cash and hard work online. This is because you are likely not going to know the person you are working for, where they live or their phone number. The highest you may know might just be a screen name and their email address which may just be one of the 5 that they might have.
There may be no real guarantee of payment like you would have with an office job. So you stand the risk of working for free which is a very bad omen.
Just like an office job, payment can also be delayed.
Online job posses the risk of you being scammed.

These are some of the cons of online work. Now let’s consider the pros.

Their services may as well be a way of wasting your time. They attract you by the word ‘free’ and then they get you browsing through their site over and over again with nothing to show for it. They really have little or nothing to offer. They are at best, time wasters and at worst, scams. And if you are serious about making money through online work you should not spend too much time with these sites that advertise themselves as being free.
There are a lot of sites that say they are free. But don’t get excited when you see them because I will tell you what they mean. By free, they are actually referring to what they offer you after you have registered with them. But before you get access to this their free services you must undergo their registration process. And part of the process that is involved with the registration is that you will need to pay a membership fee. The fee may be monthly, yearly, or a onetime fee depending on the offer. These sites cannot be totally regarded as free. And some scams lie about what they offer because you may still need to pay to use their services. This means that you may still have to pay money to other sites after you have paid to register with them. This is of course contrary to their promise that everything is free once you register. Unfortunately, there is no form of guarantee before you register. This is why you may be scammed.
Some of the free online work sites only offer freebies. And the problem with some of these freebies is that they may be things that you don’t need or things that you don’t want. But before you registered with them for free, they took your email and they promised you that you will earn cash. This may not be a scam since you may not have lost cash. But they lied to you and they may have scammed you of your valuable time. Not to mention a lot of scam mails that they will be sending to your box because you gave them your email address. And trust me when I say that this could be very annoying.

So when it comes to free online work, my best bet will still be freelance sites. The reason for this is that you can join them for free. And you only pay a membership fee when you choose to upgrade to their paid membership. The advantages of this upgrade may depend on the freelance site. After you have registered for free, you will only be charged a percentage of what you stand to gain from the job you won with their site. The advantage of this is that you are going to make money without any real investment. Also, you can even use what you earned to upgrade to their paid membership. This means that you really stand to lose nothing when it comes to freelance sites. So while this is not entirely free it is still my best option when you talk about free online work.

THE STORY OF MY ONLINE JOB SEARCH - PT 1

This story will come in parts. I chose to share this story so that you can learn a thing or two from it and also in case you are going through something similar. If you are going through something similar, don’t be easily discouraged. You see, online work success is a marathon and not a dash, so read and be encouraged.

When I came online to look for a way to make money online I was actually a newbie. I needed to raise money for something and I thought that it should be possible to work online. This was what started my online job search. But when I got to the internet, I saw that it was a different world entirely. It was a strange place for a newbie like me. And if you are new, you are likely going to get scammed (you can read work from home blog: Article 1, don't get scammed and identifying an online work that is not legit, they will truly help you). I should have been scammed several times over. But two things saved me. The first was that I didn’t have enough money to invest in the scams. The second was that my country was not listed in paypal which was the method of payment for most scam sites. I kept using the word ‘legit’ whenever I used a search engine to find a job. It was not working because I came to discover that most of the online job scams made used of the same word.

The closer I got to finding a way to work online the farther the job seemed to move away. But what I didn’t know was that the more I continued my search the more I was learning a lot about online work and online scams. Also, the more I searched for an online job, the more I became familiar with scams and how not to fall for them. It is this experience that I once thought was just time wasting that has now given birth to – work from home blog.

I came across online writing job scams, data entry job scams and online survey job scams. I registered in several scam sites till my scam box was overflowing with scam mails. All of them were providing me with information that could make me a millionaire for just $50 – yea right. I just ignored them and sometimes their mails even entered into my inbox, and I deleted them with frustration. It was then that I heard someone say that all work from home opportunities are scams. I believed this statement then and you now know why.

I then decided to add the word ‘free’ to the search engine while searching for online work but this didn’t stop the scams from showing up. It was like the scams where everywhere I turned. It was like the scams where the owners of online jobs. They have fake testimonies that can make you to be 100% persuaded. They take advantage of our vulnerability and our ignorance to get our cash. They tell you that they are not scams, yet all they do is to take your money to give you junk information – they are SCAMS.

I saw several opportunities that said they were free. But what I didn’t know was that they only meant the job opportunities that they offered were free. But I will have to pay a token to get this opportunity – SCAM!!! This really pissed me off. I then came across some other legit opportunities, but they were either not applicable for members of my country or the expertise required was way out of my league. It was after all this that I found freelance work. This was when my online job search started to come to an end; and I earned my first $30 working as a freelance writer. My experience and skill in online work, doing freelance jobs, and indentifying scams has really improved. Some of the online survey scam sites suggest that you can earn about $750 and above just for taking online paid surveys. I might not know how much you can earn in terms of giving you a value. But I know that you can earn money by taking online surveys. I also have some relevant information that will help you in identify the scams. And unlike the data entry scam sites, the online survey scams are much easier to identify. These are some things that will help you to know if an online survey site is a scam or not.

First, I won’t follow the site that looks too good to be true. A survey site that tells you anyone can participate is not telling you the whole truth. Also, some online surveys only award you with freebies and not necessarily cash. Another important thing you should know about online surveys is that they may require you to buy their products. You should also be aware that most online surveys are only meant for individuals from the US, UK, Canada and Australia. This is because the companies that want the opinions of individuals will only seek to give their surveys to the individuals that live in the country where their goods are being marketed.

All these are things that most online survey scam sites won’t tell you. They will only keep repeating lies like; anyone can join, it’s free, fast and easy, you can earn $1000 in a week etc. Some surveys may need you to do some research before you will be able to complete them. So don’t be fooled by the lie that you can tell your child to help you complete a survey and you will easily earn $1000 by the end of the week. Some surveys may even take you up to an hour to complete. If the site is not giving you all this information, they may be planning to scam you. They may have something in their member area, but it may not be for everyone from any country.

You should try to check the site properly. There are free lists of online paying survey sites and you can get them online. But I will only advise individuals from the above mentioned countries to venture into online survey jobs. Because it is bad to register at an online survey site that provides you surveys that you are not eligible to take. They may not be a scam but they would have scammed you by not telling you that not everyone can join. So be wise. This is just another scam alert for online survey jobs.

SCAM ALERT: DATA ENTRY JOB SCAMS

This is one of the job opportunities that scam sites are right when they say anyone can join and no skill is required. Don’t you think so too? Be careful about getting a data entry job online. Most of the sites that offer them and are asking for a token are scams. I will rather you use a freelance site. So be wise. For anyone that has good grammar and good use of English, writing jobs would be a good way for them to make money online. There are a lot of things that can be said about writing jobs but this article is first of all going to show you how the scams look like.

First, anyone that is telling you that you can write and get paid $25-$30 for an article and much more than that for a story may be a scam. This is because anything that is not truthful with you from the start will likely get you scammed. From my experience with online work, I have come to see that there are some criteria that you must have to be a top paid writer. Nobody is going to give you $25 for writing just anything with average grammar and use of English. For you to earn big as a writer you need to either be a professional in the field you choose to write or you must be an English major with good grammar and use of English. If your grammar and use of English is that of a high school student you are likely not going to get paid much for writing. But you can still get writing jobs at freelance sites and this can help you to perfect your writing skills.

The point in saying all this is that any site that promises you $25-$30 for an article without telling you that you need to be a pro in writing is planning to scam you. This is because there is a chance that you may be rejected after you have given them the money to link you up with the employer. High paying writing opportunities only exist for persons with quality writing skills. This is just the truth.

Why Do You Want To Work Online?

I have come to see that a lot of persons want to work online for a lot of different reasons. 90% of persons that get scammed or don’t earn anything online have the wrong mindset behind online work. They believe that online work is the lazy way to earn money without a boss. And this was probably suggested to them by work at home scam sites. Online work should not be a choice for somebody that is comfortable with their office job. If they however have skills that can earn them money online without stress, they can consider starting an online work. Most scam sites will suggest that you can quit your office job. I wouldn’t advise this if your expertise is not very high. The only time I can advice one to quit their office job is when the pay is very low and they have the skills/expertise to earn much more online. In this situation they can quit their office job to spend more time in using the internet to make more money through their skills and expertise. Any site that tells you to quit your office job because of data entry work, $1 per article writing jobs or survey jobs may be advising you wrongly. By this, all you will need to do is to go and bid on a project. If you win the project, you can then outsource it to other providers. The truth is that you will come and visit me again if you like what I offer. This should be your principle and the more they visit the more you earn. So it’s just that simple. But if you approach it because of the money, you will likely create poor content and whine about your low traffic. If you have quality content you may not even need too much SEO. So if you want to use this method, first of all make sure that you have valuable information that people need and you must be able to create a lot of content for the topic. Always see this as a way of being rewarded for the persons you helped with your information and not a way to make easy lazy cash.

Become a Middleman

If you are not very good at anything, you may want to use this method. This method mostly works when you are working as a freelancer. Here, you decide to be both a buyer and a provider and so you create a team of employers. You look for a bulky job offer, win the project and outsource it to your team. And when you get paid, you will then pay the members of your team. With this, you are not necessarily doing the job but you are still getting paid. This is good because you can get persons that possess a skill that you don’t have to join your team. So this method is very good if you don’t have too much time or skill to do online work. All you do is just play a middleman and monitor the progress of your various works.

Become a Freelancer

If you choose to become a freelancer, you may need to have an area of expertise or you should at least be able to do simple data entry works or article writing jobs. But the good thing about becoming a freelancer is that there is always something for you to do. There is always someone at the other end of the world willing to pay you to do something. It could be to write a novel, proofread a novel, write a short story, write content for their websites, create software, create a website, do photography works etc. The list just goes on and on. And the truth is that if you can do something, you will certainly get a freelance opportunity that is willing to pay you to do it.
