"Picturing Yourself" is a photo project to document the lives, interests, fears, joys and questions of youth 11-17 around the world and in different situations and we want you to contribute to the conversation. Submit a photo you've taken that illustrates something important to you such as your neighborhood, school, family, hobby, etc.

Digital journalism fellowship open

Journalists ages 23-30 who created digital journalism projects can apply for a fellowship.

The Online News Association invites early-career journalists to apply for its MJ Bear Fellowship. The ONA will select three fellows - two in the U.S. or Canada and one internationally. Fellows must be fluent in English.

Documentary film contest open

Filmmakers from the 36 countries that speak Latin-derived languages can submit documentaries to a contest.

Union Latina, an organization that represents Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian and Catalan-speakin countries, seeks entries for a documentary film festival in Biarritz. Films should offer a unique view of Latin America's diverse culture.

Web of Tomorrow: Apply now!

The New Media Summer School "Web of Tomorrow is Yours" will bring together 32 young people from all over Europe prior to the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG) 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden, between 11th and 16th June. For 3 days participants will have a special programme and then take part in the EuroDIG as part of the youth delegation.
