Written by ‘The Asylum’, Titanic II is not exactly a sequel to the movie, but more of a modern day remake of the true life disaster of the Titanic, which was originally depicted in the 1997 blockbuster of the same name. A rebuilt and re-christened ‘Titanic’, sets sail on the 100^th anniversary of the initial voyage of the grandest ship in the world. Amidst widespread speculation and apprehensions, the owner Hayden Walsh (Shane Van Dyke) inaugurates the maiden voyage and the ship sets out to sea on the same course as that of the original ship. Along the way, a Tsunami throws an iceberg in the course of the titanic. The rest of the story is about the entailing losses, lives and rescues among a sinking ship and a massive sea storm.

The characters are all original and have no reference to any of the real life characters on the ship. Known for their recreated scripts, the Asylum and writer’s such as Shane Van Dyke have a line of such mockbusters to their credit. The other major roles include Marie Westbrook in her role as ‘Amy Paige’, Bruce Davison as ‘James Maine’ and D.C Douglas as ‘Capt. Will Howard’, the captain of the ill fated Titanic II. The movie tries to depict a different angle of the damage of the titanic and also a whole host of different scenarios and people. Also, the introduction of the tsunami and the fact that an iceberg comes along its path adds to the whole aura of differential fantasy.

The movie has been produced by David Micheal Latt with Paul Bales and David Rimawi executive producers. The story was written and directed by Shane Van Dyke. The visual effects were created by the team of Kevin Hand and Mark Kochinski and Megan Nicoll did the makeup. The movie on the whole manages to tap into the legend of the Titanic, her glory and her tragedy to add elements of the modern world to produce this mockbuster. The plot of the movie essentially strives to capture the real life tragedy and drama of the monumental event and bring it to life in the context of the modern world.

Jordan in the role of ‘Maurice Wilson’ and Method Man as ‘Sticks’. As such, the look of the movie looks terrific and the entire plotline promises to be extremely thrilling to the audience. The visual effects and the action sequences have been given the deserved treatment and speak for themselves in trailers and pictures released.

As such, the visual effects team is huge and the development of the entire movie has taken places in several studios. The sound and art departments also have a long list of names, each being an expert in the field. The movie which contains very intense aerial combat sequences, has been designed using authentic combat sequences and actual pilot reports. The costumes and make up also are extremely in keeping with the time period.

The actual story has been written by George Lucas and John Ridley and the screenplay was given by John Ridley and Aaron McGruder. Anthony Hemingway directed the war movie and Rick McCallum and George Lucas are responsible for production of the movie. The movie is slated to release somewhere in 2012 and is ready for release.

On the whole, the experience of the movie was complete by a fantastic set of graphics and voices. The voices were given by Jamie Bell as ‘Tintin’, Daniel Craig as ‘Sakharine’ and Andy Serkis as ‘Captain Haddock’. The girl, ignorant of the fact that the two men know each other continues to date both of them. The rest of the movie shows hilarious attempts on the part of the two men to foil each other’s dates, lives and basically win the girl.

As can be seen, the plot promises a lot of fun and is open to many great scenarios. Both actors are well cut and roughed up for their roles as the CIA operatives and Reese Witherspoon looks delectable in her role. The action sequences look well crafted and the plot in itself manages to come out extremely fast and racy. With hilarious supporting roles and a very interesting Spy vs. Spy plotline, the movie manages to tweak the interests of the audience and promises to be a smooth ride of entertainment.

Directed by McG, and produced by Will Smith and Reese Witherspoon among others, the movie looks and feels great in the trailers and the pictures. The make- up, look, styling and designing is up to par and so are the real time action, romance and comedy sequences. Slated to release in 2012, it promises to be one of the comic capers of the year and also shows great commercial value. All in all the movie can be termed as a modern day action comedy with great stars and terrific performances.

A very contemporary and modern looking film, it is filled with gritty and exhilarating bike riding sequences, stunts and a whole lot of action. Very serious in its approach the movie seems to be able to grasp audience attention and makes for a very tidy movie with a great script.

The plot revolves around the time strapped second counting world of bike messenger Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who picks up an envelope that is to be rushed to an address before 7:00 PM. He starts off on the routine fast paced delivery but is stopped by a detective (Michael Shannon) who asks for the envelope back and upon refusal, starts to do anything in his power to hinder the envelope from reaching the address. The dirty cop, the secret in the envelope, the death defying riding sequences, stunts and tons of shooting and tension, make for a very fast script. The whole movie in fact seems to be placed only in three hours and as such makes for terrific entertainment. The story is about whether Wilee will be able to deliver the envelope within the given time or will the cop succeed in stopping him, even if it means he has to kill him.

Supporting roles are played by Jamie Chung, Dania Ramirez and Aasif Mandvi as the client who requested the delivery, a co bike messenger and the dispatcher at the bike messenger service office respectively. The whole crux of the movie however, rests on the two lead characters and the tension of the ticking clock. As such, the visual effects, the stunts and the elaborate action sequences are extremely well done and manage to keep the viewer nail biting throughout the trailer. The lead actors look very well placed in their roles and the overall feel of the movie seems extremely fast paced and tight.

Directed by David Koepp and produced by Gavine Polone with Mari-Jo Winkler as the executive producer, the movie promises to be a fast paced and gritty thriller that will have audiences wondering from the start as to what may happen next.

The story revolves around the lead character of Nick (Sam Worthington) who reaches out on a ledge in order to jump to his death. Upon seeing him, a woman from below screams him into the attention of the NYPD. Nick being an ex-cop, turned escaped convict, the police leave no stone unturned in ensuring that they seal him in and then a negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) is brought him in order to talk him away from the ledge and into police custody. Nick explains that he is being framed by the character of Ed Harris who still possesses the diamond that was stolen years ago, and for which Nick was deemed as a criminal. In the meanwhile however, Nick’s team infiltrates the adjacent building in order to make a diamond heist while the public attention remains on Nick and the ledge. Banks slowly begins to understand that things are not all that they seem and there maybe another sinister plot afoot. The crux of the movie is about what is underfoot and who has stolen the diamond.

As such, with superb supporting roles from Ed Harris, Elizabeth Banks, Edward Burns and many more, the trailer looks extremely impressive and manages to capture the interest of the audience. Technically the movie looks terrific, with real life action sequences, death defying stunts and real time shots of New York City from the ledge in advisement. The art direction and visuals are stunning and the sound effects and so on seem great. On the whole the movie seems tight and the actors seem well placed in their roles. The movie is slated to sometime in 2012. Other supporting actors include Genesis Rodriguez, Titus Welliver, Kyra Sedgwick, Jamie Bell and Anthony Mackie.

On the whole it can be said that with extremely fine lines of production, direction, casting and scripting the movie seems like a potboiler and is all set to enthrall.

Over here, he finds a discarded robot by the name of Atom, and ma persuades Charlie to take the robot. The remainder of the movie is about how the robot and the man connect, fight and develop, while also showing how the boy and the man come close over the weekend to understand what it takes to be a father and how much he loves his son.

The screenplay written by John Gatins based on the story by Dan Gilroy and Jeremy Leven, is tight, extremely heartfelt yet it makes allowances for the gritty action sequences and extreme visuals. The visual effects of the movie are stunning and the make- up, styling, design and look of the overall movie is extremely well set. Supporting roles are played by Anthony Mackie, Kevin Durand, Hope Davis and Marco Ruggeri among others. The production team of the movie includes director Shawn Levy, Steven Spielberg, Josh McLaglen and Don Murphy. On the whole the movie received a great response from all regions and did solid business because of the great script and even better visual effects and fight sequences.

The direction and writing are extremely brilliant and faultless. The entire movie on the whole flows through efficiently without any stopgaps or broken edges. The performances themselves add to the power of the movie as the male lead manages to assay roles of the happy and invincible producer and the suicidal and depressed man efficiently. The protagonist, who is the wife also plays a very dramatic and regal role and manages to capture all the loss, pain and sorrow of seeing the family disintegrate because of the financial burden. The leads are supported well by all the supporting roles and together they manage to weave a magical tapestry of love, happiness, failure, tragedy and hope.

Yet another mindbender from the genius that is Martin Scorcese, Shutter Island starts out as a typical whodunit suspense mystery but goes on to go much deeper and darker than most film malers would dare to venture. Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane and converted into a wonderful screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis, this movie recived all the technical, editorial and performance treatment that is deserved.

Set in 1954, the movie starts out with Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) who are U.S marshals, visiting the Shutter Island Ashcliffe hospital for investigating the disappearance of a patient. Teddy however, soon discovers that the unconventional and almost unethical treatments used by the doctor’s have led to a deep and dark cache of secrets among the patients all of whom are mentally disturbed. He finds a very good lead soon but is denied access to any reports from the hospital at which he point he starts questioning everything going on around him. With a deep, dark secret of the past coming back to haunt him and the disappearance of his partner, Teddy is driven to the edge of desperation to find answers. The ensuing batlle between teddy, the hospital staff and his own self, leaves him clueless and completely lost. The rest of the kovie is about how and where teddy finds the patient, his own past and the overall connection between everything that is going on.

In the lead role Leonardo is at his craziest best and continually manages to fool around with the imagination of audiences. Stars in supporting roles such as Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer and Patricia Clarkson also play a terrific role however; the show is almost entirely Leo’s because of his obsessive search for finding answers and conquering his own demons. One or two scenes in the movie manage to scare the wits of the audience and through a terrific use of art, make-up, styling and visual effects, the movie manages to leave audiences completely stunned and enthralled till the last minute. The direction as usual is well catered to in the hands of the legendary Scorecese and he manages to bring out continually the best of the crazy streak in each of the actors and puts together a compelling, shocking and ultimately thrilling end which may bewilder most.

In a drunken state, she throws some coins in a fountain wishing for true love and upon her return to New York, she finds that four men and Nick (Duhamel) are pursuing her fervently. The magic of the fountain dictates that any man who picks up the coins thrown by a woman will instantly fall in love with her. The rest of the story is about how she tries to discern whether Nick genuinely likes her or is just under the spell.

The lead actors are supported well by supporting roles of Anjelica Houston, Peggy Lipton, Dax Shepherd and Danny Devito. The movie lows through in a very light hearted and entertaining manner and is in no way hard to understand or follow. The movie managed to rake in $32 million across screens in America and much more globally. As such, the movie was widely loved by romantics and comedy fans but held no interest for those with serious inclinations towards their films. On the whole, it can be said that the movie claimed to be a light hearted and extremely entertaining affair and in the end it delivered on what was promised.

A farmer and resterauter, he is successful financially but is confused about his personal life and responsibilities. The rest of the movie is about how Nic, Jules and their children adjust and inculcate Paul into their lives by forging distinct relationships with him and also about Paul and how he understands about what he wants from his life, his family and the bond that holds them together.

The light hearted script, moving story and overall great performances make this movie a good watch. Annette Benning plays very well in the role of the dominant and controlling factor in the partnership while Julianne Moore plays to perfections the role of the supporting, caring and confused woman who has started and failed in many business ventures but continues to try her luck. Mark Ruffalo plays t perfection as the cool, carefree bike rider with no responsibilities and also manages to portray the changes Paul goes through after meeting and spending time with the family. The cat is supported by Kunal Sharma, Yaya Da Costa, Joaquin Garido and Zosia Mamet among others.

Produced by a team headed by Gary Gilbert and Jefferey Levy-Hinte, the entire look and feel of the movie is very fresh, contemporary and light. Overall the movie makes for great entertainment and also manages to spread a tremendous message of love, family and relationships.
