China finally put a consumer gaming GPU on store shelves, and buyers didn’t hesitate. Lisuan Technology’s LX 7G100 moved over 30,000 pre-order units within 48 hours of going live on JD.com, generating more than $14.5 million in advance sales. The first batch is sold out. Broader retail availability is confirmed for June 18 via JD.com, timed to China’s annual 618 shopping festival.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/lisuan-lx-7g100-750796-720x405.webp" alt="Lisuan LX 7G100" title="Lisuan LX 7G100" width="720" height="405" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-425203" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-720x405.webp 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-320x180.webp 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-150x84.webp 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-800x450.webp 800w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-200x113.webp 200w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-160x90.webp 160w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured-450x253.webp 450w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-batch-featured.webp 1167w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />The card itself is a proper first. Lisuan is only the fourth GPU maker to earn Microsoft WHQL certification, joining Nvidia, AMD, and Intel, and is the first Chinese company to do so. That matters because every previous Chinese GPU attempt stumbled on software, not hardware. WHQL means stable, Windows-signed drivers from day one.

Lisuan has also published WHQL driver v29.0.2260.76 and a 40-game recommended settings guide, including suggested graphics presets, API modes, and upscaling options, available through their driver center at lisuantech.com. That kind of launch support is uncommon for a new GPU vendor.

Early tests on the Founders Edition show the card priced at around 3,300 RMB (about PHP 27,000 or USD 480) and running many modern titles, but it can’t compete with similarly priced cards from established vendors. Benchmarks show it averages roughly 65% of RTX 3060 performance at 1080p, with the five-year-old RTX 3060 holding a 40% or more lead in several titles. In Cyberpunk 2077, the LX 7G100 averaged 88 fps while the RTX 4060 hit 232 fps and Intel’s Arc B580 reached 243 fps.

There is no hardware ray tracing. Lisuan says this is planned for second-generation GPUs. Reviewers also noted that the driver panel has limited usable options, and the Founders Edition overclocking mode resets after each reboot, along with stuttering and poor frame-pacing in games. These can be patched, but they are real issues at launch.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/lisuan-lx-7g100-59e0b3-720x589.webp" alt="Lisuan LX 7G100" title="Lisuan LX 7G100" width="720" height="589" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-425204" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-chinas-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-image-720x589.webp 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-chinas-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-image-320x262.webp 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-chinas-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-image-150x123.webp 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-chinas-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-image-768x628.webp 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-chinas-lx-7g100-gpu-sells-out-first-image.webp 1044w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

Worth knowing about the Founders Edition specifically: it was a limited run of only 1,000 units, each with a unique serial number, making it a collector’s item for the early adopter crowd. The 30,000+ pre-orders were for the standard retail version.

Lisuan now ranks sixth on JD.com among electronics sellers, behind Asus, Colorful, Gigabyte, and MSI. For a company founded in 2021 that almost went bankrupt in 2024, that is not a small thing.

For Philippine buyers, there is no local availability and no word on an international release. If you want one, it goes through Lisuan’s self-operated JD.com store, with the next batch dropping June 18.

Lisuan LX 7G100 specs:
6nm TrueGPU architecture (7G106 chip, TSMC N6 process)
12GB GDDR6 memory
192-bit memory bus
192 TMUs
96 ROPs
8K60 HDR output support with DSC
DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, OpenCL 3.0
No hardware ray tracing (planned for gen 2)
FreeSync support
WHQL driver: v29.0.2260.76
40-game official recommended settings guide at launch
~3,299 RMB (approx. PHP 27,000 / USD 480)
China-only via JD.com self-operated store
Broader retail availability: June 18, 2026

Benchmark reference at 1080p:
Cyberpunk 2077: 88 fps avg (RTX 4060: 232 fps, Arc B580: 243 fps)
Black Myth: Wukong: 56 fps
Forza Horizon 5: 48 fps (Low preset)
~65% of RTX 3060 average across tested titles

Is 30,000 sold-out units the validation China’s GPU industry needed, even if the benchmarks don’t quite back the price up? Would you pick this up at PHP 27,000 knowing what the numbers say?

Huawei is launching the nova 16 series in China on June 1, and the company has already pulled the curtain on what the phones look like.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/nova-16-series.webp" alt="" width="1200" height="675" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-425190" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured.webp 1200w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-320x180.webp 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-720x405.webp 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-150x84.webp 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-800x450.webp 800w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-200x113.webp 200w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-160x90.webp 160w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-huawei-nova-16-series-confirmed-design-featured-450x253.webp 450w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" />

Four models make up the lineup: nova 16z, nova 16, nova 16 Pro, and nova 16 Ultra. Reservations are now live on Huawei’s official China store, with full payment due on launch day.

New design, new look

The nova 16 Pro and nova 16 Ultra share a similar rear design. Both feature a rectangular camera island housing two large circular cutouts, which gives it a robotic-eye kind of look. Triple cameras are confirmed for both, tucked inside those circles along with an LED flash. Huawei has teased the nova 16 Pro in Sky Blue and an Iridescent gradient colorway. Up front, both models get a pill-shaped cutout with slim bezels around the screen.

The standard nova 16 uses the same rear camera island shape as the Pro and Ultra, but it drops to dual cameras instead of three. The nova 16z is the different one in the group. It has a pill-shaped rear camera module on the back, dual cameras, dual LED flashes, and a regular center punch-hole selfie camera.

What the storage listings reveal

Based on Huawei’s official reservation listing, the nova 16 and nova 16z come in 256GB, the nova 16 Pro in 512GB, and the nova 16 Ultra in 1TB. The Pro and Ultra also have visible metal frames based on antenna band placement. All four models run on HarmonyOS.

Leaked specs worth noting

Official specs are still coming on June 1, but leaks have been pointing in one clear direction. The nova 16 Ultra is tipped to pack a 6.84-inch LTPO OLED display and a 7,000mAh battery.

That’s a solid jump from the nova 15 Ultra’s 6,500mAh. Chipset options from leaks suggest the standard nova 16 could use a Kirin 8030, the Pro a Kirin 9010S, and the Ultra a Kirin 9020.

On the camera side, the Ultra is reportedly testing a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.3-inch format, paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto and a multispectral lens. None of these are officially confirmed yet.

Aside from the phones, Huawei also plans to introduce the MatePad Pro Max tablet and a new Supernova smartwatch at the same event.

Philippine availability

No word on Philippine pricing or release dates yet. The nova 15 Ultra landed in the Philippines starting around PHP 35K, and the nova 15 Pro came in at around PHP 29K. The nova 16 series could follow a similar pricing band once it goes international, but that is still speculation at this point.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/nova-16-series-variant.webp" alt="" width="1200" height="668" / loading="lazy">Huawei nova 16 series confirmed specs (from official teaser and listing):

Google’s Android 17, codenamed “Cinnamon Bun,” has reached platform stability. The stable release is projected for June or July 2026. Pixel phones get it first. Everyone else? It depends heavily on what chipset is inside your phone.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI.jpg" alt="Google Android Officially Launches New Logo Fi" title="Google Android Officially Launches New Logo Fi" width="720" height="406" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-343630" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI.jpg 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI-320x180.jpg 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI-150x85.jpg 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI-768x433.jpg 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI-120x68.jpg 120w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI-160x90.jpg 160w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/google-android-officially-launches-new-logo-FI-520x293.jpg 520w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

Samsung users are already getting a taste. Samsung started rolling out the One UI 9 beta, beginning with the Galaxy S26 series (S26, S26+, S26 Ultra) in select countries including Germany, UK, South Korea, and the US. The stable One UI 9 rollout is expected in July 2026, likely alongside the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8. Older Galaxy S-series flagships from the S23 onwards are also expected to follow, given Samsung’s 7-year update promise.

On the Pixel side, eligible devices cover the Pixel 10 series, Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold, 9a, Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a, Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will get Android 17 as their final major OS update, with support ending in October 2026. Pixel 8 and newer are on a 7-year support window, so those still have more years ahead.

Here’s where it gets relevant for the Philippine market. A massive slice of phones sold here runs on Snapdragon 4-series or Dimensity 6000-series chips. Think the realme C75, OPPO A3x, and most sub-PHP 10,000 picks. Budget and entry-level device deployments are only expected in early 2027 at the earliest, and that’s if they get it at all.

Brands like OPPO, realme, vivo, and Xiaomi are testing Android 17 only on their flagships so far: OPPO officially launched Android 17 Beta 2 for the OPPO Find X9 Pro, OnePlus for the OnePlus 15, with Vivo opening the developer preview for the Vivo X300 Pro and iQOO 15. Mass-market models are not part of any confirmed rollout.

Confirmed Android 17 eligible devices (per brand):

Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a (final update)
Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7a
Google Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a
Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold, 9a
Google Pixel 10 series, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet
Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra (expected)
Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE (expected)
Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge (expected)
Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra (beta live)
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 6, Fold 7 (expected)
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Flip 6, Flip 7 (expected)
OPPO Find X9 Pro (beta confirmed)
OnePlus 15, 13 (beta confirmed)
Vivo X300 Pro (developer preview confirmed)
Xiaomi 17, 15T Pro (expected)

Not expected to make the cut (or very delayed): Devices running Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, 4 Gen 2, Dimensity 6020, 6100+, or Dimensity 6300

Does your current phone make the list? And does Android 17 eligibility factor into your next smartphone purchase? Let us know in the comments.

OnePlus has brought the Watch 4 to the Philippines, carrying a full titanium alloy build and Wear OS 6 out of the box. It carries an SRP of PHP 21,990, a PHP 2,000 bump over the Watch 3’s PHP 19,990 local launch price.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/OnePlus-Watch-4.webp" alt="" width="1245" height="650" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-425172" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-oneplus-watch-4-now-available-in-ph-priced-at-php-21990-featured.webp 1245w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-oneplus-watch-4-now-available-in-ph-priced-at-php-21990-featured-320x167.webp 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-oneplus-watch-4-now-available-in-ph-priced-at-php-21990-featured-720x376.webp 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-oneplus-watch-4-now-available-in-ph-priced-at-php-21990-featured-150x78.webp 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260526-ygt-oneplus-watch-4-now-available-in-ph-priced-at-php-21990-featured-768x401.webp 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1245px) 100vw, 1245px" />

The Watch 4 moves away from the Watch 3’s titanium-bezel-only approach. The entire case is now titanium alloy, shaving 13% off the weight (down to 43g without the strap) and trimming 6% off the thickness at 11mm. It comes in two colorways: Midnight Titanium and Evergreen Titanium.

Up front is a 1.5-inch LTPO OLED display running at 466 x 466 pixels with sapphire crystal glass on top. Peak brightness hits 3,000 nits in sports mode, which is noticeably higher than the Watch 3’s 2,200 nits. The same Snapdragon W5 and BES 2800 chip combo from the Watch 3 carries over here, paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.

Battery life carries over at up to 5 days in smart mode, 3 days under heavy use, and 16 days in power saver. Full charge takes about 75 minutes.

On the software side, it runs OxygenOS Watch 8 based on Wear OS 6, the latest from Google for wearables. Gemini is built in, so you can summon it via “Hey Google” straight from the wrist. No eSIM, though.

Durability gets an upgrade too. The Watch 4 now carries IP68, IP69, and 5ATM ratings on top of MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, adding full seawater corrosion resistance and wet-hand touch control.

Health features include heart rate monitoring, SpO2, wrist temperature, sleep tracking, fall detection, and the 60-second Health Check-In that covers up to 9 indicators in one scan. It also covers 100+ sports modes. Connectivity is Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC with Google Wallet support.

OPPO officially unveiled the Reno 16 Pro in China, and it brings a notable spec bump over the Reno 15 Pro that landed in the Philippines back in February.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/oppo-reno-16-pro-a82989-720x499.webp" alt="OPPO Reno 16 Pro" title="OPPO Reno 16 Pro" width="720" height="499" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-425135" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-oppo-reno-16-pro-200mp-cameras-featured-720x499.webp 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-oppo-reno-16-pro-200mp-cameras-featured-320x222.webp 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-oppo-reno-16-pro-200mp-cameras-featured-150x104.webp 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-oppo-reno-16-pro-200mp-cameras-featured-100x70.webp 100w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-oppo-reno-16-pro-200mp-cameras-featured.webp 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

The Reno 16 Pro runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s, a flagship-grade chip also found inside the Find X9 series. Paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, it comes in five configurations: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and a 16GB+1TB top-end option.

On the front is a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel at 2772×1272 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color support. OPPO also integrated high-frequency PWM dimming, which helps reduce eye strain during longer screen sessions.

Camera-wise, the Reno 16 Pro carries a triple rear setup: a 200MP main shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto. That last lens is a step up from the standard telephoto on the Reno 15 Pro. The front camera also gets a 50MP sensor.

Battery is where it gets interesting. The Reno 16 Pro packs a 7,000mAh cell, up from the Reno 15 Pro’s 6,500mAh. Charging covers 80W wired and 50W wireless. The phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS out of the box.

OPPO also added the Snap Key, a physical shortcut button that debuted on the Find X9. The company also launched a magnetic AMOLED accessory called OPPO Bubble alongside the phone, doubling as a secondary display and remote shutter up to 10 meters away.

Pricing and availability

In China, the Reno 16 Pro starts at CNY 3,699 (roughly PHP 31,000) for the 12GB+256GB variant. The top 16GB+1TB model is priced at CNY 4,799 (roughly PHP 39,000). Color options include Moonlit Night Black, Dreamy Blue, and Heart-Fluttering Stars.

OPPO says global availability is expected sometime in June or July. No Philippine launch date or local pricing has been announced. For reference, the Reno 15 Pro launched locally at PHP 49,999 in February, starting from the same CNY 3,699 in China, so expect a similar markup when it arrives here.

OPPO Reno 16 Pro specs:
6.78-inch flat OLED panel @ 2772×1272 pixels
120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, high-frequency PWM dimming

Smart Communications is making the first official telco move into the consumer AI wearables category in the Philippines. Starting Friday, May 29, 2026, the mobile services provider will formally offer the brand-new Rokid AI Glasses across its flagship postpaid offerings, introducing native, hands-free access to Google Gemini without the typical bulk of traditional AR headsets.

Rather than treating AI as just another application on your phone screen, the Rokid AI Glasses shift the entire user experience directly to your face. Weighing in at a highly wearable 49 grams, the device looks and feels remarkably like a standard pair of everyday spectacles. Instead of heavy lenses or battery-draining heads-up displays, the glasses rely on an audio-first, voice-driven interface.

Ask questions with AI

The core feature set is built directly around deep Google Gemini integration. Users can trigger natural voice interactions to ask questions, transcribe audio, handle navigation, manage daily scheduling, or execute real-time language translations on the fly—all handled discreetly through an open-ear directional audio system. Interestingly, Rokid’s international software layer has been updated to act as a multi-model hub, meaning users can also toggle between other prominent large language models like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Alibaba’s Qwen depending on their specific workflow needs.<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://static.rokidcdn.com/prod/rokid-website-glasses/2.1.1/_next/static/media/1.f4346903.jpg" alt="乐奇AI眼镜" / loading="lazy">

With the competition heating up from giants such as MediaTek, there is a lot of expectation for Qualcomm to continue evolving its famed Snapdragon line. Well, it looks like the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Gen 6 Pro chipsets will have something radically different to offer. Here’s what we know so far.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NEWS-ARTICLE-11-2-720x405.png" alt="" width="720" height="405" class="size-large wp-image-407932 aligncenter" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NEWS-ARTICLE-11-2-720x405.png 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NEWS-ARTICLE-11-2-320x180.png 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NEWS-ARTICLE-11-2-150x84.png 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NEWS-ARTICLE-11-2-768x432.png 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NEWS-ARTICLE-11-2-1536x864.png 1536w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/NEWS-ARTICLE-11-2.png 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

According to reliable tipsters such as Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor could be built on a revolutionary 2nm architecture. While the Samsung Exynos 2600 was technically the first 2nm chipset, this will be Qualcomm’s first attempt at it. A lesser nm number equates to more efficient energy consumption and thermal management.

The 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is slated to possess a 2+3+3 CPU arrangement with clock speeds going up to a blazing 5 Ghz. Taking care of the graphical workload is an Adreno 850 GPU.

In addition to that, the 6 Pro is likely to be paired with a 10,000 mAh capacity battery, at the very least. These efforts to reduce power usage and increase battery size will surely help devices perform at their peak for longer.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-720x405.webp" alt="" width="720" height="405" class="size-large wp-image-417535 aligncenter" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-720x405.webp 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-320x180.webp 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-150x84.webp 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-800x450.webp 800w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-200x113.webp 200w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-160x90.webp 160w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming-450x253.webp 450w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/poco-M8-pro-gaming.webp 1280w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

Flagship-grade power generates a lot of heat. Left unchecked, this could cause accelerated battery degradation, inconsistent performance, or even component failure. That’s why the alleged phone to have the 8 Elite 6 Pro as its beating heart is also rumored to carry an active cooling fan to keep temps low. This is a feature rarely seen on devices, since usually active fans are attachments rather than built-in.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Infinix-GT-30-magcooling-fan-720x405.jpg" alt="" width="720" height="405" class="size-large wp-image-405438 aligncenter" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Infinix-GT-30-magcooling-fan-720x405.jpg 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Infinix-GT-30-magcooling-fan-320x180.jpg 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Infinix-GT-30-magcooling-fan-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Infinix-GT-30-magcooling-fan-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Infinix-GT-30-magcooling-fan.jpg 1280w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

On the other hand, the base Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 gets slightly lower graphics with an Adreno 845. There are no concrete specifications yet but we’ll let you know once we get more information.

Manny Pay is a BSP-regulated financial application launched by legendary boxer-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao. The application was built with the objective of low-cost, hassle-free transactions for average Filipinos, along with other lofty aspirations. Unfortunately, public sentiment has been somewhat lukewarm recently due to prolonged maintenance issues that left people without access to their hard-earned cash.

Just this month, a system update on the 7th of May was generally accepted by the user base, as a clear 12-4AM window was provided. Another system maintenance was scheduled on the 15th of May from 11AM onwards. This was not as well-received; likely due to the fact that more users are online during this time period, and that there was no “end time” indicated in the post.

Thus, many who were left hanging and waiting for operations to go online again took to the comments section to air their grievances.

The same happened two days ago, with a notice being posted on May 23, a public plea for patience on May 24, and a final announcement declaring the return of services just before midnight today, May 25.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Screenshot-2026-05-25-125530-720x412.webp" alt="" width="720" height="412" class="size-large wp-image-425011 aligncenter" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-manny-pay-maintenances-leave-users-without-access-image-720x412.webp 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-manny-pay-maintenances-leave-users-without-access-image-320x183.webp 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-manny-pay-maintenances-leave-users-without-access-image-150x86.webp 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-manny-pay-maintenances-leave-users-without-access-image-768x439.webp 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-manny-pay-maintenances-leave-users-without-access-image-200x113.webp 200w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/260525-ygt-manny-pay-maintenances-leave-users-without-access-image.webp 1280w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

Comments on the succeeding posts have mostly been complaints from users who urgently need their cash for payments, unanswered support tickets, as well as those who are beginning to think of switching to other platforms. Even the “return of services” post still has some comments from users still unable to access their accounts due to locks.

Users have also taken to other forum sites such as Reddit to seek clarity on the situation.

Despite all of this, the Manny Pay social pages continue to release marketing materials. If you visit the Facebook page, you can leave comments on the marketing posts, but the admins have limited comments on the maintenance updates.

We do hope that Manny Pay fixes its services so that situations like these don’t happen again.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/philippine-drivers-license-1.jpg" alt="" width="720" height="401" class="size-full wp-image-380055 aligncenter" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/philippine-drivers-license-1.jpg 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/philippine-drivers-license-1-320x178.jpg 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/philippine-drivers-license-1-150x84.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

In recent years, the Philippines has pushed towards digitalization to help make processes more efficient. The most notable one is likely to be eGovPH, which is pegged to be an online one-stop-shop for anything government services-related. Many agencies have quickly followed suit to maximize the average PH citizen’s convenience and accessibility. However, there may be some cons to the speedy progress. A local advocacy group called Flag Maharlika has just revealed a critical weakness in our local PH driver’s license system.

The weakness is an unfortunate side effect of the lack of digital infrastructure we still have locally. To put it simply, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) tasked an international firm Dermalog to be one of the primary handlers of the country’s Driver’s License Inventory and Printing Application Modules.

<img decoding="async" loading="lazy" src="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto.jpg" alt="LTO" width="720" height="405" class="size-large wp-image-370697 aligncenter" / loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto.jpg 720w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto-320x180.jpg 320w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto-150x84.jpg 150w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto-120x68.jpg 120w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto-160x90.jpg 160w, https://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/lto-520x293.jpg 520w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" />

This means it has full access to all private information and can print PH driver’s licenses of any holder anytime, from halfway across the globe. On top of that, this can be done without the LTO ever discovering that it was performed. Even when LTO staff want to do something as simple as transfer physical card inventory from one local district to another, a Dermalog employee based abroad (likely Malaysia or others within Asia) allegedly still has to be pinged and informed for it to go through.

This is admittedly a breach of safety, security, and privacy, on a national level.

Flag Maharlika has urged the NBI to look into Cybercrime and Illegal Access violations that led to this clear system failure. Also, another complaint has been sent to the NTC for data privacy breaches.

The Office of the Secretary General (OSG) is already petitioning for the cancellation of the contract with Dermalog. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
