The unplanned family vacation

So finally, the longest unplanned family vacation comes to an end.It started with entire panic-stricken cavemen family staying indoors and watching Ramayana together with the hope that summer heat, the beating of utensils and anti-Chinese clay diyas would kill the virus. While we were falsely busy blaming Tablighi-Jamaat for all the menace in the country, I managed to give a terrible haircut to my father, and he was equally glad to return the generosity.

As the summers approached and Amitabh Bachhan started spamming our mobile phones, we managed to sneak our way to the hills unlike the poor migrants with all our comfort and dignity. The mountain escape was indeed a blessing in disguise to get a respite from the scorching heat and mundane city life. Lots of time to in lap of nature, more conversation with family members and minimalist life was indeed therapeutic.

As the coronavirus grew stronger over time, there were a few personal economic and career-related jitters, although very small in comparison to all the cash starved MSMEs and other small businesses. The college decided to go online and the value addition with every passing class seemed to have diminishing marginal utility, it gave me the freedom to attend classes that mattered and rather read what I believed would serve some purpose in life. The learning curve could have been more enriching, had Rhea not insidiously planned to drug the heavenly Sushant Singh Rajput and somehow we could muster to let go of the grapevine and discussed some inconsequential yet momentous 26 % fall in the GDP.

However, even in tumultuous economic times, was fortunate and managed to get a decent job amidst all the doomsday predictions. More importantly, survived COVID-19 in the covid hotspot of the nation with incessant efforts to boost immunity with Yoga and a healthy lifestyle.

With a lot of free time to spare, could connect and meet some good old friends. It always feels as fresh as yesterday and all the memories come alive even though you meet after aeons and are continents apart.

As the festivals passed by, and winter approached, finally the fear had lost its resistance and was just a daily number in the small byte of daily news. The winter now had its own perks, could sleep long hours at own will, drink multiple cups of green tea and gulp down freshly made orange juice.

While this extended holiday comes to an end, sometimes the worst of times could have good memories. May we need not live through another pandemic but otherwise realise that the ordinary lived with simplicity in itself is very beautiful.

Prologue

She again tried to pursue me with her innocent puppy looks and said that it was just a matter of 5 minutes. I again refused assertively. I smelled something fishy and asked her what was in the bag. She said “It’s just my normal stuff” . I denied again. The couple started a small quarrel amongst themselves. I was just about to make a move from there, when suddenly a heavy hand landed on my shoulder and grabbed me by my neck.

Chapter 1

5:10 PM ,5^th Decmber,2016

Delhi, Connaught place.

Unpredictability is the law of nature .Gazing at the long queue of people at SBI ATM in Connaught place, I was wondering at the helplessness of common man. A bold positive sudden move by a charismatic leader had brought the country to a standstill. Some people were compliant to it and happily accepted it as mark of patriotism, while others just grudged about it.Well this wasn’t an evening to discuss political matters. To break the monotony of my study schedule, I had planned to meet my cousin and then a couple of my friends.

I was waiting for my cousin Ritesh in front of Gate No 8, Rajiv Chowk metro station. It was just a matter of few minutes that he would have been there and we would have a spent a non-eventful Monday evening. But destiny had its own plan.

A young couple approached me and the girl asked me if she could borrow my phone to make a call .Unalarmed, I said Yes . The girl had wheatish looks and was well dressed, looked like any other girl whom I would have offered my seat in the metro .The boy was tall, lanky with thin moustache. His body language had arrogance which would make Honey Singh jealous.

She dialed a number and handed over my phone to Honey Singh jnr. He looked tense and had short conversation with someone .He didn’t bother to thank me and just handed the phone back to me.

I ignored and started having conversation with another stranger who looked grieved with demonetization move .A few minutes later, the girl approached me again and said “ Would you look after my bag ?I would be back in 5 minutes.

I looked at the girl and then the pink glossy bag with hello kitty stickers on it. Both looked too cute to be explosive but I still blatantly said “No, I am waiting for my cousin and I will be off any moment”

Three middle aged men dressed in civil dress were escorting the couple whereas I was being dragged by an iron fist .The adrenaline levels in my blood spiked. I asked my captor why I was being handled roughly. He said “ Jyaada Shaana mat ban.Chup chaap chal”

Holy fuck! Cognitive narrowing had already set in, I had lost my ability to reason .I was being pulled away ferociously .I started shouting for help at the top of my voice. Was I being kidnapped in the middle of Connaught place with day light still intact? While I was being pulled away, people gathered around me as if a witch in rural India was about to be set on pyre. No body made any move they just walked along with me. I saw a KFC outlet in front of me, the chicken in there would have felt a little more brave than I felt in there. Helpless I kept shouting for help. I felt a little relieved when a man dressed in police uniform came near me but my excitement was as short lived as Shahid Afridi’s stay at the crease. He said to me “tujhe thane le jaa rahe hain !kidnapping kari hain tune.”

Holy fuck again! In a transition of 5 minutes, my role was changed from Delhi’s Aam Aadmi to a victim and now a criminal! Hollywood movies and advertisements in newspapers had instilled a belief that police would flash their identity card or arrest warrant before arresting but real life had its in own anomalies.

I said” I would co-operate you bas mujhe ID card dikhado”.

Man in Uniform (pointing towards himself)said “ itni bada main ID proof na dikh raha tujhe”

Man 2(flashing his pistol): Ye dekh hathiyaar , aur kuch bhi dekhna hain kya tujhe?

While a pragmatic mind in one’s senses would have adhered to the norms, but this sudden upheaval in my life had made me lose my belief in the entire system of normalcy. I had doubts whether they were real police because four out of five were not in uniform; neither were they showing their ID cards. Any goon could have also possessed the weapon and tailoring a Khakee uniform was not much expensive.

Gaining some sense, I said: Sir, mujhe mere papa ko call karne do.Main unko inform kar deta hu aap mujhe kahaa le jaa rahe ho.(Although still unaware where I was being taken to)

At lightening quick pace, one man grabbed the phone from my hand and another one whacked a slap on my face. I was petrified and still confused .Responding to my survival instincts, I started shouting my father’s telephone no with a grim hope that someone would inform him where was I was being taken to. People just watched, nobody twitched a muscle. The KFC chicken in the backdrop seemed the bravest amongst us all. I was pushed into the rear seat of white Bolero.

Chapter 2

5:18 PM, Inside the Car

Seated inside the car, I was expecting a white handkerchief drained in chloroform to come up at any moment. Instead they started celebrating amongst each other.

Man 1:“Arre waah Sir! Maan gaye aapko! Kya pakda hain “

Man 2:“SHO sahab ko bata dijiye, aap ke to number pakke”

(My phone rings, Ritesh Bhia calling)

Man 3(addressing me): Ye ritesh kaun hain ladke, ye bhi tumhare saath mila hain kya?

I said “ He is my brother , I came here to meet him”

Man in uniform picked up my phone and said” isko Kashmiri gate thane le jaaa rahe hain, wahi aakar baat karna”

A huge sigh of relief set in. At least I was not being kidnapped. At least some one knows my location. These are real cops .It feels better to be in a lockup than to be kidnapped and kept hostage in an unknown location. And I knew that somewhat temporarily skewed planetary position in my horoscope won’t affect my Karma too much.

“Sir, I am innocent and would cooperate with you in interrogation” I said firmly to the man in uniform.

I showed my ID on his request and narrated the entire scene. He then asked a few more questions about my educational qualifications and family heritage. It felt more like an interview with potential father in law. Somehow I managed to satisfy his never ending sarcastic questions but he still had some iota of doubt left.

Cop: “Achaa tu science student hain, to ye bataa ye remainder theorem kya hoti hain??”

I was amused at this intellectual question; I never expected all my years of studies would boil down to this question.

Everybody in the car was gaping at me as if some heavenly words would be spoken from my mouth.

“Sir, Dividend =Divisor into quotient + reminder.”

In a parallel universe, Euclid in heaven would have weeped for this answer and Newton and Pythagoras rejoiced that they were spared from this humiliation.

The crowd rejoiced by my answer, another cop said ”humein to pehle hi pata tha ye ladka Kalaakar hain.Ye bata tune Cp mein itni nautanki kyu kari??

I said “Sir all of you were dressed in civil uniform and no one showed me his identity card”

The man in uniform got enraged” tujhe main Khakke wardi mein US police lag raha hu kya?Aur hum police uniform mein aate to ye laila majnu bhaag na jaate waha se”

I rest my case,I didn’t wanted to further angry them, neither I wanted to be behind the bars for false allegations. Shawshank redemption has already been made. I apologised for my behaviour.

They returned my phone and I called my brother Ashish. He assured me of his and ritesh bhia’s presence at the jail. Sometimes moral support works like a magic wand. A friend who is ready to take punch along with you is better than 1000 Facebook friends with pouted pictures.

Chapter 3:

8: 30 PM, Kashmiri Gate police station

The girl was taken to women cell. The boy was behind the bars, giving arrogant answers and filthy smile to women police .He had tough time awaiting him at the midnight, meanwhile situation was under control . My brothers were there with me. I had informed my parents about the incident. They were calm and sounded strong. The police had been pacified. They already had offered me tea with some lame jokes.

But why was I here at the police station with no fault of mine?? The girl was a minor and she was trying to elope with the arrogant Honey Singh Jnr. He used my phone to call her dad and ask ransom money so that they can fund their future honeymoon. The cyber cell had tracked the location of my phone call and caught us just at the right time (though wrong for me). She might have been in love with guy, but you really can’t trust what mala fide intentions the boy or the fate had for her. She could have been pregnant in a few months or trafficked to some other country or nothing could have happened.

But Indeed the police had done a great job; she would be back to her home in less than 24 hours .Although I would have been happier if I was handled more smoothly, but I guess the police doesn’t treat a potential lead with gentleman’s behaviour. May be the job demanded that. Being a cop in India is not easy, with low pay perks and strenuous working hours. And unlike Indian army the job sometimes doesn't get the respect it deserves. These are fertile grounds for Corruption and complacency to breed.

I was called by the sub inspector to pen down my witness statement. I wrote it down fast as I could sense that my freedom was near. I handed over the letter to him. To my surprise he said”

“Animesh, thanks for cooperating with police and I apologise for slapping you.”

Well those words from a man deeply drenched in power lust and patriarchal ego somewhat healed my wounds. I smiled back, and left the place.

Well it was not one of those days which you would like to script in your lifetime but it left me with a few deeply entrenched lessons.

In those few moments where I was pleading for help, no one even just stepped forward to enquire what was happening? Everybody was mute spectator, although I could sense that few wanted to help. May be that little gesture would have helped me to regain my composure. I can now understand and empathise with helplessness of the oppressed victim. May be someday I l try to get out of comfort of air conditioned car and help the oppressed or injured on the road

Well old saying goes that mom told me not to talk with strangers, but I have been interacting with strangers throughout my life and have learnt a lot about their culture and human psychology. One needs to be a little more careful in the crime capital but it should not deter one from lending your mobile to someone in ailing condition or in other emergency. We all have done it numerous times and the probability of mishap happening is as low as Salman khan’s car hitting you when you are walking on the pavement.

I have not read Barney Stinson’s bro code and neither any one of my close brothers but we all have some basic traits ingrained and it is better to have a handful of good friends than a dozen of beer hangout friends. Because a brother in need is a brother in deed.

And the most important of them all, -We all have a chicken inside, and it’s natural to have negative emotions of fear, jealousy, hatred etc. But what matters is that you accept and acknowledge it and kill that chicken inside as fast as possible rather than live with it through your lifetime.

The latest Vogue video starring Deepika Padukone has already created some upheaval in the social media and why it should not? After all it talks about one of the most sensitive and important subject in the country .As our honorable leader of opposition Mr.Rahul Gandhi says

“Our prime Concern is women empowerment”

Since time immemorial, various civilizations across the world have treated women as the weaker sex. From Chinese binding women’s feet to judge their beauty in 10^th century to a super girl Malala Yousufzai being brutalized in 21^st century for education. Women have seen the worst times.

I personally believe that human emotions are like a mechanical spring. “The external force might succeed in suppressing it for some time, but as soon as the spring gets a chance, it will bounce back and it will bounce back really hard and strong in an uncontrolled manner”

The modern women have started fighting for her rights and freedom and this is one of the brightest omens that we can witness today. But there is a fine difference that separates empowerment and armament.

When there are two lines of different lengths. There are two way to make the shorter one equal to the longer one.

First way is to address and fight for real issues like domestic violence against women, a girl’s right to choose and pursue her dream career, give her freedom to choose her life partner and having an equal say to come out of a toxic relationship with dignity, equal opportunity to rise at workplace based on skill and many more issues under the sun. It slowly but surely increases the length of the shorter line. This is empowerment or feminism for me. It can be worked out and accomplished mutually by both the sexes. It will help both the sexes develop mutual respect and love for each other.

The second way is to go out and blatantly shout “It’s my way or the highway”. I will oppose anything and everything that this stereotype patriarchal society opposes in order to establish my superiority and satisfy my false womanly ego. A fake freedom to prove that a woman also has the same rights to commit the same mistakes or sins that a man does. It shortens the longer line. This is sexism for me. It might promote equality but it will surely lead to a chaotic and unstable society. A society with mutual hatred and competitiveness.

Its Your Choice to choose which way you want to promote and achieve equality.

1.Its Your Choice to wear whatever you want

But I would personally choose not to wear a pair of my football shorts to my office because I feel it’s always decent to dress according to the occasion and the crowd until the crowd has slowly evolved enough over the years to accept the change. I would rather choose to dress classic and look suave than be raunchy.

2.It’s your choice to be size zero or size 15

But rather than flashing my bones or my beer belly I would rather choose to have a healthy body. Being healthy never hurts.

3.It’s your choice to have sex before the marriage or outside the marriage.

But I would personally choose to be loyal with someone whom I have vowed to be my life partner.I wont cheat on you because I know it will hurt me if you cheat on me.

4.It’s your choice to love temporarily or lust forever.

But I never met anyone who fell in love with someone with an intention to love temporarily, neither did I. Although the flames may smother down with time due to incompatibility, but you never chose to love temporarily, it just happened.

To lust forever??? Yes its your choice, but I am not really sure whether it will be your choice if you end up in a psychiatrist’s clinic, a sex rehabilitation center or in worst cases behind the bars.

5. It’s your choice to love a man or woman or both.

Nobody has a choice in it. It’s something as natural as being a left handed or right handed person. Just be mature enough to not hurt someone’s unconventional love inclinations.

6.Its your choice to come home at 4 in the morning.

Yes it is again your choice. But being a brother, father, friend or a lover, I will always be worried about your safety until unless I am assured that you are in a safe environment.

7. It’s your choice to have my baby or not

My 10^th standard biology teacher taught me that sexual reproduction of human beings requires two opposite genders, so my common sense tells me that the decision to raise a baby or not should also involve both the people. Grammatically speaking, it’s not “your” baby, it should be our baby.

8. Your pleasure may be my pain; it’s still your choice

But as a human, if I know something that I do will cause you pain, I will choose not to do it or at least try my best to not rub your wounds. But again it’s still your choice.

Rendezvous with the God -Ganesh Chaturthi at Pune

Chapter 1:The Beginning

It would have been just another day for me if I was in Delhi or Chennai but I was in Pune, cultural capital of Maharashtra and to skip Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations would have been a sin.So after a lull morning, I decided to put on my traveling shoes and head towards Dagdusheth mandir.One of the most revered Ganesha shrine at Pune and the one which was bombed most recently.

I stepped out to explore the city. I walked steadily to my destination. It was drizzling at a lousy rate, but the exuberance everywhere outweighed it. The entire city was draped in Ganesha celebration .Kids and women dressed in traditional clothes, men wore white ganpati caps .Speakers shrieked praises to lord at high decibels. Every nook and corner of the city installed Ganesha altars. Swarm of devotees engrossed in singing and dancing to the Dhol beats.

“Moriyaa moriyaa moriyaa ho..bappaa moriyaa….” .And then some more -“Moriyaa moriyaa moriyaa ho..bappaa moriyaa….” Continues and fades….

The atmosphere was euphoric.

Chapter 2:The journey

I walked further and reached Kasba pet. Another famous Ganpati mandir.It was surround by a dozen of pandals showcasing myriad of ganesha idols in different sizes and forms. Ganesha as Krishna,ganesha as Sai and budhaa and many other avatars and postures.

I am yet to figure out whether it was just a marketing gimmick or a message that God is one.

More I walked towards my destination, density of flesh and bones grew larger and larger.Reminded me of Chandini chowk at delhi and Mamblam at Chennai.No doubt we are steadfastly moving to become most populous human species in the world.

Closeby,A Ganesha altar was being carried to its destination, surrounding it were few men and women,dressed in white with saffron bands dancing their heart out with the dhol beats. The beats were loud and strong. A dark moustached man with intense look started raising a long double triangular saffron flag. With every inch advance of flag,drum and dhol beats flared up. Louder and stronger.

“Dham dham dham dhoo. Dhamm dhamm dhammm dhoo”

Louder and stronger! Louder and stronger!

“Dhammmm dhaammm dhammm dhammmm dhammmmm”

It was a war cry. As if the great Shivaji with a blood red tilak on his forehead was preparing to walk out for a war. As if he was unleashing his lions for the battle. Adrenaline rushed, with an imaginary sword at my hand, I felt like a warrior. The Maratha warrior.

Chapter 3: The Darshan

The warrior inside me braved the crowd and moved towards my destination. I could see the tech savvy souls clicking Ganesha pictures before their eyes could capture it.

“Moriyaa moriyaa moriyaa ho..bappaa moriyaa….”

Slowly and effortlessly, with the crowd I moved towards the idol.A 12 x 8 feet, larger than life elephant god’s idol placed in huge altar dressed opulently with silk and gold. Yellow light illuminating from all directions creating a halo effect. Mouse,modaks and muse at his feet. Calm yet powerful look on the face.

Before I could make a wish or offer a prayer, I was thrown out of the epicentre.

Chapter 4: The WTF!

I was greeted by smells of vadapavs,lassi and modaks.But it was intriguing to find another crowd of men,gathered at a single shop.

It read:

Ganpati Lottery store (Maharshtra government authorised)

It looked like Indian version of casino. People with meagre wages and high gambling instincts gathered to play Matka.A table with images named Gaay,geend,surya etc etc.people placed their 10rs bets on the object.Lucky one stole the show.

There were lottery tickets as well. A guy with burdened look on his face said to sky

“ganpati bappa,iss baar lottery laga dena”.

Then to the vendor

“Teen 20-20 ke tickets de re..Do Maharshtra ke aur ek Sikkim ka”

After he finished his ritual, I went to him asked: - “Bhia isme kabhi kisi ka lottery lagta bhi hain??

He said:- Aee chicknee tu in sab se duur reh re..ENJOY LIFE! ENJOY!!

And he rushed away on his bajaj scooter with the golden tip.

(Fading voice) “Moriyaa moriyaa moriyaa ho..bappaa moriyaa….”

With some time to spare ,I walked a few steps away and asked a Ganpati cap seller

“Bhia ye shanivar vaada fort aaj khulla hua hain kya??

He replied “Haa.Khulaa hua hain 5 Baje tak.Par kya karoge jaake??

I enquired “kyu bhia..?? Fort dekhunga”

He asked “Tumharee saath mein bandi hain kya??”

I said “Nahi…”

He replied “ To faydaa nahi hain, baaki couples ko bhi disturb karoge aur unhe dekhkar khud bhi disturb hoge”.

Tu kaha se hain?? Teri awaaz se Pune ka nahi lagta,isliye tujhe advice diya,nahi to main Marathi logo ko nahi deta.

I said, “Main delhi se hu”

God, gambling, racism, aggression and lovemaking co-existed in hundred meters of radius.

Chapter 5: The Enlightenment

As I walked away, I came across an old building with a runty single room house at the ground floor with tattered walls, rain water gushing inside .It was jam packed with a steel almirah , a single bed ,a stove and a newly bought clay Ganesha idol.

They were praying exuberantly with vigor. The house had as less space as a mouse hole , a small girl even stood outside the house to pray. Still they looked happy and satisfied.

It rained heavily. Shell shocked, perplexed, I was there for a long time. What has God given to them? Why are they still believers? Why do they spend a chunk of their earnings in prayers?

Sometimes god is neither found in the holiest shrines, nor he is found in richest households. he is sometimes found within the hearts of humble unattached souls.

He is found in the form of hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

When you possess nothing, he is a possession.

When nobody cares about your existence, he is a belief that at least your creator is bothered.

He is found in the form of a friend, with whom you can share your deepest troubles.

He is found in the form of love that unites you with your loved ones.

He is also found in the form of forgiveness for the wrongdoings that the world has done unto you and in the form of repentance for your mistakes.

He is also found in the form of gratitude, for whatever little you possess.

I thanked Ganesha idol in the small house and moved on !

Why I became a vegetarian?

It’s been almost six months now since I became a plant eater, but the upheaval it has created in my social circle is still afresh. My reception at home has not been a very pleasant one. Every relative or friend I meet, tries to convey me with his own unique theory to switch back to killing animals.

“Beta,abhi to tumhaare khaane ke din hain,50 ke baad chood dena”

“Thoda thoda khaana chahiye,jyaada mat khao”

“Ye jaanvar to bane hi marne ke liye hain”

“Non veg na khaane se insaan,dheela ho jaata hain”

“Lagta hain iska kisi vegetarian tamil Brahmin se chakkar chal raha hain”

When words don’t work, they seduce me with every mouth-watering chicken dish available in this planet. Apologetic looks from others, sometimes gives me nightmares that my hands and legs are chained and others are trying to stuff the chicken leg piece into my mouth. If such a frugal act can create such a fuss, I wonder what will be the situation if I declare celibacy or elope with an outcast girl.

So why did I quit eating non vegetarian food??In real sense, I have not quit anything. you actually never quit anything,you just move to a higher level.Suppose now you own a Maruti 800.In some time if you become financially affluent, you might buy a Honda city, and in later run you might own a BMW.Does it means you have quit Maruti? No, you bought a BMW because you are competent enough to drive maximum happiness out of your life. Similar is the case with me.

My happiness was defined and limited to chicken. Party for me was synonymous with chicken. A Paneer on the table instead of chicken would drop my endorphin and dopa-mine levels. Earlier it was my taste buds that received sensory happiness. Now I drive a better happiness.

There is a greater satisfaction that I am being compassionate towards animals, a sense of gratification that I care for my health and not knowingly imposing myself to deadly diseases, gratitude towards the mother earth and a feeling of service towards poor.

If you understand it, well and good. Otherwise, Kanna please keep calm and at least respect my constitutional “Right to eat” (If it exists)

The power-fire ball

Power is the ability to attract and redirect thoughts into action. The attachment to materialism and desires gives birth to the power. Thus power lust is inevitable. How we quantify power is a subject to reference frame of different societies and ecosystems. It could be quantified with money, respect, love, fame or ideas etc.

“Power is like a fireball, if channelised precisely it is constructive energy, if misguided it is a catastrophe.”

Power like everything in the universe has both the extreme ends. It is black (+)as well as white(-).

(+)Great prophets like Jesus, Buddha and Mohammad to leaders like Gandhi and Mandela possessed the power and have shaped history, and people who possess the power will continue to mould the future. But power has repercussions and obsessions attached to it.

(-)The real test of strength and character of a man is his actions when he has been handed the power. He might subdue the weaker ones for his motive and prove his mettle. Horrible boss at the office to an everyday example of man killing an animal for taste buds is testimony to the fact that the power lust blindfolds the mankind.

If power is a fireball, discontentment (+/-) is a fuel to it. A handful people earn great wealth (+/-) and riches, so tremendous that they can’t spend their entire money in their lifetime, even if they wish to. But they are never satiated by their possession, because money is not just a method of exchange, it generates power.

As I entered the cathedral, at least a dozen people were weeping profusely. What the Fuck?Its ok,I lost a six figure job and I feel dejected after the rejection but why the hell are you people crying? –I said in a low tone to myself.

Ten minutes later, My ex recruiter arrived. We moved into an empty room .He looked like late 20’s guy with a beard to match his job profile.

“It’s ok sir, you don’t need to apologise, I can understand. It can happen with anyone, but I would like to know is there any possibility of being finalised?”, I asked intrigued.

“Animesh you were shortlisted for the job, but we had to narrow down the list when we were finalising the candidates. But now we have finalised it “,He said

When you are eighth,seventh,sixth or fifth in a race, you don’t feel crucified, You feel the pain when you are fourth in a race and missed your medal by a few milliseconds.

“Sir,please let me know if there are any other opportunities in Sanmar group in future or any other company which suits my profile” I said

Chapter 4: The lesson

I moved out of the Sanmar office, It was in the cathedral road.

It was an opulent grandeur old church which resembled those I had only seen in movies.

Though I was still not jubilant but certainly neutral
.The joy of success and the grief of failure will last for only a short period, how we lead the life in between the two periods will define the quality of our living.

In the name of father,the son and the holy spirit, I wished a heavenly life to Mr.jayaraj and moved out of the cathedral. The sun seemed to shine brighter,the winds rustled.

Still unemployed, seeking job with a greater vigor,my never ending adventurous journey continues…

My Politics,My change..

A simple rule of economics states “demand is directly proportional to supply”.
Over the past few decades our politicians have been luring the illiterate and oppressed vote banks with their ghissi pitti speech of “roti,kapda aur makaan”, caste creed and blah blah.
So they manage to fool around the fools and thrive for personal gains,and we just watch and let them do so..
We get a poor bunch of politicians,because our majority vote bank demands meager stuff.

With India agitated over the series of scams, corruption and all the unfortunate happenings in the country, at the same time the speculations getting hot over the prime minister candidature of Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi in their respective parties for upcoming elections. It can be considered an opportunity or a turning point in the cleansing of Indian politics.

Politics plays a very significant role in any country’s progress and it surely can’t be neglected by the people assuming it to be an utter waste .Blaming has not helped, neither being ignorant nor being mum has helped either.

So here are some steps that we can implement to bring a change in the Indian politics.

1.Vote,vote,vote

vote bank has always been trump card of our politicians .Low level of literate and wise voter turn out can be considered a paralytic virus in framing an efficient government. We (literate youth) can vote incessantly for Indian idols, so why not vote once to avoid an Indian Idle.A strong literate voter turn out will surely have a positive effect in Indian politics in the longer run as it will contemplate politicians to take decisions considering literate vote bank in mind.

2.Being aware

Ignorance is the curse of God; knowledge is the wing wherewith we fly to heaven.

Awareness not confined to just celebrities and page 3 parties, but nuts and bolts of the country.How can one be part of the solution,if one is not aware of the problem.

3.Making your voice heard

Be it social network or the protests, your voice causes a chain reaction and thus leads to a sonic boom ,which can upheaval the strongest political injustice.So don't be a mere spectator and make your voice heard.

Believe in a better tomorrow

No matter how grieved you are, simply blaming the government and being ignorant would lead us nowhere, we need to be optimistic that if we religiously follow first three steps, sunny days of Indian politics are not a distant dream.

“I don’t feel proud of Delhi anymore”, i am not the one quoting, this is what most of the status in my home page read. The recent Delhi rape case has literally raped its reputation. People addressing it as the rape capital of India.

So what after the rape? Do we start the blame game? Lets blame those lusty men, the weak government, the ignorant police or some might also blame the victimized girl for tempting the wolves..blah blah...bull shit.

I hereby declare that people of Delhi are responsible for every rape case. Forget rape; let’s accept we don’t respect our women, and we are so used to it that we don’t even sense it. The first significant change i felt when i moved from Delhi to Chennai was the fact that the men here actually treat their ladies with the respect they deserve. This respect is clearly visible in Chennai at any public place at any time of the day. No man in Chennai dares to sit on a seat reserved for women, it’s like losing your masculinity, in Delhi it’s the other way round, the poor lady sometimes literally begs for it and in return what she gets are few lewd comments. People close to her act as mere spectators. Why???

Delhi’s thought:-”if he has guts to say this,surely he has the guts to fight me and deep within i know that no body like me has the guts to fight for me..”

Delhi’s decision:-“chalta hain na,kya farak padta hain,ye to roz hi hota hain, meri maa ya behen thodi hain!”

So vicious circle of fear and ignorance continues, and ultimately gives the strength to our bad bad boys to try their next level of adventure and question our dead conscience.

Suddenly we have flooded Facebook with the rape posts,but earlier we were either lazy or ignorant to acknowledge the fact, that we top the rape case tally,25% of India’s heinous act takes place in our capital city .At last not the least ,i can sense some agitation among the youth, raise your voice ,because if you don’t do it right now “agli baar kisi ki bhi maa,ya behen ho sakti hain”

The winter holidays have begun and most of my counterparts have left for their homes, not before giving me sympathetic looks as if i have been deprived of free sponsored las Vegas tour.Thogh the maid has twice rejected my plea to clean my hostel room and mess staff have even stopped serving rasam, the reason for my stay at the land of rajni for my winter break is “The Conrods”

(So what is this Conrods?? Conrods is a team of 25 insane people (including me) working together, and not so together together to make an off-road all terrain vehicle that can withstand what even super-man cannot (batman might). Being modest, the team is defending champion of SAE INDIA BAJA competition and competing this year for nothing else, but retaining the championship title.)

Let me introduce the Conrods to you

Prashant ,The captain cool does the all round work, the man with every jugaad .He considers all the new recruit juniors waste,completely waste.Likes to sing retro songs that would make any 1980’s girl blush.

A group of techies including Nitin,Vishnu,Pranith headed by Deepak who has special fascination for vernier callipers .While the rest of the world is busy playing fifa13 and nfs mw,these guys are enjoying with their versions of games like solid works,pro-e,catia,adams etc.They talk in language alien to me,and work diligently as if blessed by “jaadu”.

Centre of the fabrication bay we have a beautiful looking automobile chassis. The one entirely different from rest in the world. The one made by the BATMAN, not the bruce wayne , the dhaval Mehta(I am paid to write this). Sanity deprived, self proclaimed dude of our team who will ride our vehicle to victory.

They say hard work is the key to success, but sometimes laziness also does succeed .Varun ,the happy go lucky, “kya fark padta hain” guy is living example for the above read statement. Handling the ansys of the car, one can rely on him when it comes to cars’ safety. He might soon sue trolling world for using his patented bitch please smile.

The soft spoken, muscular Akshay is the most delighted member of the team as he gets to work with brand new brake calipers.

The team’s bread ,butter and branding are taken care of by avichal,nimesh and naman.They make sure that the best team deserves the best.

Humais,the man blessed with golden arm and no facial hair .He can almost fix anything,makes sure that not even a nanometre of gap is left in any joint.

Prodigy Promit –the pocket size dynamite is handling the transmission along with the deccan charger Avsai pawan.

Suhas-the mr.discipline of team is the first to enter lab and last to leave,does not spare even a screw when it comes to handling the shop floor.

Asseem handling the steering likes to entertain diesel “the dog”. Inspired by great khali ,he might soon come with a translator.

Vishal,the lanky auto freak handles the fabrication in his own terms.

Srivatsan,the prophecy kid is more efficient than ms word spell check when it comes to spotting errors.

Sandeep-the biker boy gets the best deal for the team,he has contributed a new word to the dictionary,a.k.a “BHAAYA”.

Avinash,another key member in fabrication,likes to use the “C” word with a frequency of 20 khz.

The concords,sorry conrods has dikshay as the second driver,likes to make everyone laugh with his filthy jokes.

Sudeep,the electric bong takes care of the the electronics of the car.

Shiva,the Richie rich of our team does all the out sourcing work with utmost efficiency,the man behind dhawal’s source of entertainment.

I have observed many people who unwilling adopt different lifestyle, different choices, different people just to be socially acceptable as they are not proud and confident enough to be, what they really are.

FACE # 2

The second face ,man portrays to himself. It means what an individual thinks about himself. His actions are intended by his second face. This face is often taken as an excuse by people to hide their inner evil to them. There are many instances which are testimony to this fact. Some physically desperate and emotionally weak people get into relationships and justify their weakness as love to themselves. Many terrorists claim their religion to be source of motivation for the destruction but deep inside, it is their inner evil to see the world burn.

FACE # 3

The third face, even the man is not aware or afraid to accept . It is what the individual is actually deep inside. It refers to preferences that ultimately satisfy him without any excuse. It means those tasks that ultimately give him most pleasure.In other words,it is what lies in the sub conscience of human mind.

The real person is one who is strong enough to accept himself and willing to make changes to his inner third face rather than making changes to his first face .The real person is one which has least difference between his three faces, rest all are living a life of fake identity. The most real person existing in this world is a child, because a child does what he wants to, he speaks what he wants to, without wearing the mask of sophistication, without fear of social acceptance and enjoys the fun of insanity.

So controlling my urge not to deviate from the topic, I ask

“Why do boys really need girls??

Answer: “because girls give boys the freedom of expression and act as a source of reception”

We boys are careless, arrogant, flamboyant creatures having diversified genres like sports, gadgets, automobiles to enjoy each other’s company. But as we grow, life becomes more and more complex and deep inside there is a desire to express oneself.

Now to whom do we boys express?

A) Best male friends.

B) Female friends.

At first we try A) and after some awful experiences we realise that we chose the wrong option. Why?

· No matter how close your friend is, there will be an instance when that friend of yours will pull you leg for showing your “girly” feelings.

· The guy on the other side is equally confused or dumb to understand what we really mean to say.

· Our default manly ego is big enough, to not express our feelings to another man. So we hardly express our feeling to each other until unless we are drunk.

So eliminating option A)

We go for option b) and after some experiences we realize that

· The lady on the other side is actually listening and trying to understand.

· Her situation is even more complex and thus we can still possess our manly ego and be the superior sex.

· Not even she is listening to our problems; she is even sharing her problems (most of them even don’t exist) and waiting for our valuable suggestions. This gives us a sense of coveted female importance.

The theory:-“girls give boys the freedom of expression and act as a source of reception” even applies to mothers. It’s the mother at the end of the day, to whom we really share everything and bond with, irrespective of how much we love our father.

And i hope you agree with me "Why boys need girls? " And yes we need them for everything else too.(pun intended)

Thus in order to achieve that particular goal,a machine follows a particular mechanism.For proper functioning of that mechanism,we have different parts in a machine. And machines never come with any extra part,so it means that every part of the machine is specifically made to perform a specific operation.

Let us assume this world to be a big machine,it is all the time following a certain mechanism.

Like wise every part or i should say every living or dead component was made to perform a certain operation.

So every component has a certain purpose of existence in life.

for example:-

the coconut is grown in tropical regions,Its water has composition equivalent to blood plasma composition,extremely helpful to overcome dehydration and beat heat
apples rich in anti-oxidants which build our immunity grow in mountainous regions where viruses can easily grow.

Like wise there are numerous facts to prove that every component is at perfect location,working perfectly to achieve a certain purpose in life.And this is not confined only to non-living components,it applies to us humans as well. The mechanic or the god made each and every one of us to perform a certain function in life.

Thus we all are no coincidence,we all have a ultimate purpose in life.

So next time you doubt yourself,your potential ,your skills ,just remember that we all are special in some way and are made to achieve a certain purpose in life.

The worldly riches, pleasure will all fall into your place,but what most of us lack is that purpose in life,we just live to survive.And this results to lack of satisfaction and happiness in life,and ultimately we are not a contributing member of that big machine called the world.

So just keep searching what you ultimately want in your life or what you are made to do.And when you realize what you want to do,just believe you are doing a great work and that is serving a greater purpose.You are a great part of that great machine created by the best mechanic known ever.

Why so serious???

The modern man has numerous problems but most of them have been self cultivated in which we neither have control , nor is a matter of our concern directly, still we like to feed on them and cherish the agony of their existence..

For example:

Slump in Indian economy ,
Hike in Petrol prices
The daily soap heroine being tortured,
Scoring a mark less in exam
The girl next door didn't accept your friend request
Uski saree meri saree se safed kaise??(Why her robe is whiter than mine??)

Everybody likes to shape his life for better and while doing so problems exist like a game of crossword to find a solution but there are certain trifle ones whom if we ignore can help us to focus on bigger ones and make us live more freely .

Ok lets play a game and I request you to list down all the problems that you faced in last one year..

How many do you remember??

Well I don’t think most of us would even touch the double figure .But are these the only problems that gave you wrinkles and theft your smile. If you can’t even remember them, surely they are not much of your concern, so why worry about them?? So we are not that burdened as we think and just taking life a little more seriously than actually it is.

Wayne dyer once said:- "It makes no sense to worry about things you have no control over because there's nothing you can do about them, and why worry about things you do control? The activity of worrying keeps you immobilized."

So next time you worry about something, just perform a simple test designed by one of the most budding psychologist* of our time.

ask your self following questions

1.Do I have control over it?
2.Does it really bother me?

3.Will I worry about it an year later?

4.Is there no way out of this?

5Am I that wicked and stupid that no one will help me solve this?

6.Has god been unfair at giving me these problems??( not applicable for atheists)

If the answers are in negative, then don’t give a damn and just take the required action to solve them. And if the answers are in positive, then give yourself a break and do the activity that gives you the most pleasure. After doing so, you will feel relaxed and will have the strength to fight the existing ones.

Facebook which is now part and parcel of our daily routine has completely changed our life , or in fact I should say has given us a new life .For every person there are two identities –first ,being the real identity and second, the virtual facebook identity. It has helped us to connect with the existing friends, make new ones and be updated about them (gratitude to mark zuckernberg for all this) .But there is one thing that mark and face book has done in India which neither our social reformers, nor Amir khan could do and that is – “It has given equal status to women or much more beyond it in our second virtual world”

My intention here is not to criticize Ms.jessica or any other girl posting pictures(I do love them),but what bothers me is the growing number of fake women profiles as my home page is getting flooded with their requests.

So what makes a guy go to extent of losing his masculinity in face book???

As William James once said: “the deepest principle in human nature is the craving to get appreciated”.

Girls do get their desired share of appreciation for their pictures, status, comments or anything they scribble on facebook.

But when it comes to boys they are starved of the appreciation they deserve and even if they do, it depends on their nature and the social circle possessed by the boy more than the content he posts.

Uncertainties of a 20 year old

After completing two decades in this planet, every 20 year old comes across a situation when he is completely clue less about what’s happening in his life and there are some uncertainties that keep haunting him in some dead corner of his subconscious mind…

1. “murgi kya jaane ande ka kya hoga,life milegi ya saala fry hoga”

No matter how hard you work and how much confidence you possess, you are still not sure where your jump is exactly going to land. You are not sure where your career is heading towards; all you can do is just try to scrap some marks which even don’t guarantee a gateway to a stable future. You try to explore all the options like-

Whether to go for placements,

If placements, either public sector, private sector, core job etc

Or to go for further studies

If further studies, either MBA, M.Tech, PHD whatever…

And if further studies whether in India or abroad…

“Confusion hi confusion hain solution kuch pata nhi”

Even after exploring all the options, it’s very difficult to make a firm decision

2.”Why this kolaveri, kolaveri di???”

If you are committed , you are not sure whether your relationship will go to next level or your “love “ will say very soon –“it’s not working anymore, I think we should be just good friends”(lolz) but you still try to drag your relationship will all efforts, just to sustain it .

If you are single, there is a high probability that your high testosterone levels and peer pressure will force you to fall for a girl, and there is a higher probability, that girl won’t fall for you …(ok,this was a little personal)..Jokes apart, but there is again an uncertainty whether you will get that coveted princess or not

3."kitna badal gyaa insaan"

All your friends which a world cup ago were very innocent, has now started to grow horns … so there is always an uncertainty where your words and actions might backstab you .There will be many people

Who will laugh with you and have a gala time with you but there is no certainty that who will save your soul when it comes at the price of their own..

4. “Papa kehte hain, beta bada naam karega”

Insurmountable expectations from the parents, and there is nothing much you can really do to satisfy them..leave it apart.You are not petite enough to ignore ,nor mature enough in a position to help them either emotionally or financially…

well hope i tried to enlighten with some of the uncertainties what a 20 year old like me and those around me feel... if you fall in this dreaded age and have some similar experiences,please share so that i am assured that i am not alone in this planet suffering from these symptoms..

Fun in the classroom

With all the freedom and energy to conquer the world, college life is the most memorable and lively phase of one’s life. Hanging out with friends in canteen, bunking classes and going for movies, infinite longs talks in the hostel, those college affairs and breakups and much more. All these events when you look back make you nostalgic.

But as every coin has its flip side, one more event that acquires a large chunk of college life is the dreaded and boring lectures. Surviving the college lectures in India is not an easy job with a large species of frustrated professors in our classrooms, their monotonous style of teaching (which is a competition to the best sleeping pill available in the market) and their never ending threats for reducing the internal marks.

Over the past ten years surviving the lectures is growing as a skill. While my counterparts around 10 years ago could only doze off in the class room, over a period of time they started buying mobile phones (colour or no colour, camera or no camera) and soon texting evolved in the class rooms, later they bought slightly better versions of them, and gaming and Bluetooth transfer evolved (including all kinds of data transfer). Finally it is time for my generation now, my generation of internet in our mobiles. And those classrooms are not boring and monotonous anymore.

My fun packed classroom has many friends, friends with varied backgrounds and with varied interests, but “internet in mobile” comes to everyone’s salvage. Here is my classroom for you:-

The bell for the period begins and a moustached professor with wrinkles on his forehead enters the classroom. With our mobiles strategically placed to avoid the visibility of the professor, it’s time for some action; it’s time for some fun.

Most of the class is glued to cricinfo.com, as the match between India and Sri Lanka is alive again with virat kohli and his bat on fire. Aditya sitting on the second last bench of third row is browsing the pics of all the beautiful girls available on his facebook profile to whom he has never talked and there is a very slim chance of those beauties ever replying to him. Adjacent to him, Vaibhav the flamboyant Punjabi ,is downloading the latest album of “yo yo honey singh “ .Thanks to whatsapp Nikhil sitting ahead is enthralled in conversation with his girlfriend .Saurabh with his head down on table and earphones plugged in, is watching the trailer of “the dark knight rises” and “rowdy rathore”.Anshul at the other end is busy reading his daily dose of e-newspaper from TOI app.Ankit , the class geek with his round thick spectacles is mugging second law of thermodynamics from Wikipedia. Whereas me, sitting on the last page is logged into Indiblogger and promoting the posts as I read them one after another.

I guess our generation has pioneered in making best use of time available in the lectures.And all this is possible because of mobile internet getting faster, better and cheaper. Thank you Vodafone for making my classroom –fun!

On his 39^th birthday, here is my post as a tribute to him...So where to start from, he has scored thousands of runs and has conquered millions of records , but what makes him great is his hunger for the game at the age when most players turn commentators.

His perseveration and passion to make his child hood dream to win world cup for India was clearly evident last year. I still remember those winning moments when he came running like an ecstatic child out of the pavilion to celebrate the victory with ms dhoni…That moment left me spell bound.

He is a paragon of humility at the zenith of success. He has always respected the game and unlike other players, never questioned back the umpire (even though, he always has been at the receiving of the unfair decisions)

Most of us tremble under family pressure, peer pressure, etc but just think of this guy who has to bear the burden of billion hopes every time he walks to bat and he has still performed consistently over the years which is clearly evident from the sky rocketing average and strike rate he has even after two decades of cricketing career.

He has been criticized many times that he plays for personal records, but with once in an interview with ravi shastri he said-

“I would love to get out in 90’s every time, if India wins”

This statement clearly shows the level of patriotism and his selflessness for personnel gains.

It’s high time we stop doubting sachin’s dignity and his decision to retire. Who are we to judge a man who is already immortal in cricket, whose achievements seem to be unconquerable in future?

I am just a mere follower and he is definitely my god, and followers don’t doubt, they have faith in their god. I would just request that we let this pocket size dynamite play freely, at least in his last phase of career and just cherish the class of a god called Sachin Tendulkar.

Hey I have no intention of scaring you guys, and definitely the world is not ending in month but pessimistic side of mine makes me think whether the recent Indonesia earth quake was a glimpse of the grim reality…

What if over a few months our planet earth experiences some more heavy jolts and climatic disruption…

And one fine morning sitting a cup of coffee, your morning newspaper headlines read

A recent survey by a panel of scientists in Geneva revealed that earth’s crust is crumbling day by day and with current pace, it is not expected to last more than a month. The satellite images published by NASA are a testimony to the fact. The Mayan calendar also predicts the end of the world on 21, december2012 ……..

What now????How will you react...??? Just think for a minute…

After thinking for almost an hour, I came to simple conclusion that we humans might ourselves increase the entropy (disorderness ) of the world by many folds.

With the panic all around the world knowing the fact that it is going to end soon ,why would anyone like to work…why would one toil to earn money knowing the fact that it is not more than a piece of paper…gold and silver just a piece of stone…and food will be the prized entity ..we will either get it for free , if the government and army (if it really works)would be interested to supply it , otherwise we will have to acquire it by hook or by crook, thus provoking us to show our most devilish side…just imagine people fighting near the super market to just acquire simple bread and butter…

With the frustration all around, many would turn into psycho maniacs and there are chances that crimes would increase ….people having grudges against each other might go to extent of killing each other as there won’t be any law actually working at that time..I seriously don’t want to comment on other lewd possible outcomes...

Ok after lot of dark content…lets see who would be the people really working to make the situation better…

1. The ones who love you selflessly…it refers to people you have no strings attached relationship…in most cases it would be your parents who throughout your life has loved selflessly without hoping much in return …it could be any other person who loves you truly like real friends, real partners ..etc

2. Those who believe in afterlife...It means god fearing people; they would be the ones maintaining their composure and trying to do the right deeds or “karma” is should say with the hope that it would reap them the results after a month when the ultimate judgment day comes...

3. Those who have high moral values and principle …those who clearly discriminate between what is right and what is wrong…those who believe in humanity and have the strength to control the animal within.

4. Those who worship their work … those who believe sitting idle is a crime and their optimism knows no limits...it might refer to scientists , higher bureaucrats and army personnel etc, etc who would still believe it is their duty to salvage the mother earth and its people…

So that dreaded date is still far and we don’t need to worry much about what Steven Spielberg and Mayan guys warned us about .But just think what would you be doing at that time if you get to know “the world ends in a month”…

it’s a place where you can even be killed if there is a stampede.there is so much human traffic that you can even reach your destination if you are not in a hurry with the help of law of conservation of energy,I mean the infinite numerous pushes you will get from the crowd..

And thanks to the movie directors for glamorizing it in movies, but the truth is there aint no white doves (masakalli..masakalli)…and even the crows sometimes have fear of getting killed by the stolen electric wiring.

But telling you this place has a jugaad for everything under the sun,ranging from all the future brides searching lehengas to vendors selling electric trimmers.

Close to chandni chawk , there are so many areas with their own specializations...

Talking about akshay kumar’s paranthe wale gali..It’s a very narrow lane, full of taste buds crazy people waiting for hours outside the eateries,but the food is seriously worth the wait(specially the above mentioned parathas and lassi)No doubt why delhites have a delhi belly..

It’s a hub for book worms, where you can buy and sell any book by any publisher at the cheapest price,I got good deal for selling my iit ones(chalo kuch kaam to aayi)

CHAWRI BAZAAR-

Anything under the cards,go to chawri bazaar..well u can go in if you are interested in copper and brass stuff also

Place for all whole sale dealers, get your goodies at cheapest price..irritating crowd free feel free..

one time watch

So after sunny paaji’s hero , the indian spy is back …and this time he is wearing better Armani and Versace coats …travelling across 15 different nations and driving the fastest cars…so is this time we have our desi James bond..naa we are still far from it..Though saif’s macho moves and kareena’s curves (whooooooooo..) are highly appreciable…but the story is too overly written and our favourite enemy Pakistan is again targeted( TOI may sue the script writer for not spreading “AMAN KI ASHA”)

saif has got only one clue ..the no 242 , special thanks to ravi kishan, the bihari dude for sacrificing his life for the the clue..So our agent vinod unfolds the mystery with his wits and comes to know that’s no 242 is an auction no for an old urdu poetry book..(who pays for poetry in India…???i m still bankrupt..)..which is ultimately a detonator of a bomb..Nuclear bomb (typical Indian mentality..chotte motte bomb to fodne hi nhi hain…).. I doubt, the hot blondes in the movie know what is a nuclear bomb and how it even works...(If you are in the same category ,it works on the principle of nuclear fission..For further knowledge …www.wikipedia.com)

Ultimately the lashkar people are blamed to be behind it, and the movie makers decide to plant the bomb in world’s best city..no prizes for guessing it to be Delhi..Mr. nuclear bomb is being planted at Connaught place…and saif, ultimately finds it...Indian spy knows how to fly a helicopter and he is taking the chopper outside the city…kareena also known as iram , shot half an hour ago is still alive and waiting for saif’s call…saif finally calls and after having useless conversation for 2 minutes and in the , the last 20 seconds of the bomb to explode, asks kareena for the password to diffuse the bomb…and lady luck always work for Indian heroes and he survives..Indian heroes never die, if an Indian would have made titanic, leornardo would have never died and we could have enjoyed more sketches of foreign beauties in its sequel…still I l say , agent vinod is worth a onetime watch…I hope kareena reads my blog…love her since “chamak challo”

mechanical engineering and girls : the side effects

mechanical engineering and girls are like salman kissing shahrukh, pakistani players speaking fluent english and petrol prices going down ...in short next to impossible...i still haven't able to figure out clearly why girls dont opt for mechanical engineering... whether it requires brain muscles or arm muscles or both...so whatever the reason is ...at end of the day the sufferers are poor mech boys....who have to compete against each other for a single girl (and in some colleges that girl can have moustaches also)...so one lucky guy gets the girl, and others have to be content themselves with "apna haath jaganatth" (i am not explaining this one)...special thanks to xxx godessess who still make us alive...
but this deprivation of girls can have serious effects on health and mental status of a guy...
now i l tell some possible side effects of low sex ratio in mechanical engineering

CASE 1: HORNY LIFESTYLE...

this situation refers to guys who are completely girl deprived ....eg. those who studied in boys hostel for 12 years hoping that college life would be colourful , but they ended up black and white or i should say grey(refers to colour of workshop dress that we wear in labs)....they don't have a female friend circle...and they have no clue how to talk to remaining 50% of the world's population(excluding mothers and sisters)...
these species are worst affected and get aroused by any object having circumference 2 pie R including car silencers...they can call customer care to hear feminine voice ...and the best outing they could have is a crowd full of women ,and they playing the push and push game..

CASE 2: NOMADIC LIFESTYLE

these folks including me ,have a decent female friend circle but they have lost all hopes of making a girl friend because either their dream girls are too far or the ones close are below the par standards...they find their refuge by either digging themselves in books, sports , gymming,making cars ,making money ..etc etc...their day time table is fixed even before they wake up....

CASE 3: BISEXUAL LIFESTYLE....

people under this category have very few female pals and they are more than happy with the menfolk...
they sometimes come too close to each other, sometimes being unaware that they are still not accepted in the society...they are no way homosexuals but ya they have a fair bit of attraction for the man kind...there activities are quite similar to case 2 people...except the fact that their mobile inbox is full of mahesh,ramesh and suresh...

EXCEPTIONS: THE ONES HAVING FAMILIES

it means the committed ones, these are men with either
1. super flattery skills or
2.very low satisfaction standards

the former ones use their past experiences to lure other branch girls and the latter one are happy with the moustached girl....
