So I was at Trinoma today because there was this huge sale.  I’m not fond of shopping for new clothes or shoes unless I really need them.  I tend to overshop on new gadgets XD.  I bought a generic audio connector few months back so I can have clearer sound coming out of my iphone when I’m trying to record a TTR3 FC vid for my youtube channel.  The sound is pretty decent, has good bass, but not DVD crystal clear sound quality.   I’ve searched for this one Belkin cable on every Power Mac Center in my city but its out of stock.  Last resort would probably be ebay, but I dont like purchasing gadgets from there.  I’d settle for ebay when it comes to purchasing my one of a kind nail kit

Too bad the saleslady at PMC, Trinoma told me this was out of stock just two weeks ago.  Damn!

I’m not much of a fan of puzzle games, really. Any game that requires too much brain work for me is no fun.

So I was browsing through what game to get cause I’m really bored with Bejeweled 2 and Charadium now(although Charadium is quite addicting… at first). I found a puzzle game thats similar to Bejeweled in style except the balls are against a spinning wheel.  Now thats a first!

Its called Spinzizzle, a puzzle spinning ball-dropping game. Now this one does require some brainwork lol but seeing that the concept looks fun plus really good graphics that pop on your screen makes you want to try it. Unlike those lame 3d ones that hurt your eyes with pixeled edges. Anyway, the rule of the game is you spin the wheel so your balls drop (no, not THOSE balls -.-), you keep on spinning until you hit the right color sequence.

Spinzizzle delivers:

• 21 levels of gameplay
• 2 modes including story and action
• 4 wildcard balls
• OpenFeint integration
• Amazing graphics
• Explosive gameplay

This is like the one game that replaced my Bejeweled 2. Fo’Shizzle!

If there is such a thing as an ipod shaffle, I would want one too. I’d probably be the only one to have it :p

I used to jailbreak my 3gs with blackra1n, but when I accidentally upgraded my firmware to 3.1.3, I lost all my stuff that made my iDevice so ME.

But theres a new jailbreak out called Spirit Jailbreak. Its untethered and works on the latest iDevice firmwares. It actually took me a minute or two for the jailbreak to finish… wohoo! Unfortunately for some, its not a carrier unlock. Now I’m back to customizing my springboard again From a boring default one, I got to make it look like the one youre looking at now.

After the jailbreak is done, you can open your Cydia app and check out Sections>Themes for a lot of cool stuff to customize your screen. But you will need to install Winterboard first via Cydia since you will enable your downloaded theme from there. If you like my homescreen, heres what I used:

• Assorted Color Status Battery – its a set of 9 different re-colored default status batteries
• Clear Player – custom media player control graphics when you play ipod music
• Desktop/SMS Background – if you want to have a background image underneath your text bubbles
• Digital Signal bars – signal bars for the status area
• Five Icon Dock – gives more space for an additional icon to your dock area
• FiveIRows – its 4 rows of icons for the springboard by default, so this app adds another row
• FontSwap – this changes your system, clock and note fonts. You can also download through cydia a lot more fonts thats meant to work with fontswap. I learned this the hard way when I had to ssh a font and ended up having to restore my device :/
• Liquid Metal Ball Sliders – slider used for homescreen to unlock
• Glossy Pink Dialer – pink buttons instead of the glossy black default used to dial a call
• Gruppled theme, art and SBS settings - this is my main theme with semi-transparent icons and wallpapers that rotate on your springboard
• Hot Pink Battery – battery graphic you see on your homescreen while charging your phone. I guess you notice by now my fetish for pink
• Icon Glow – gives a nice subtle white glow to icon text labels on your springboard
• MakeItMine – I used this to change the operator name to z3o plus I have Emoji installed. You can also use this to change your status clock into text or emoji icons as well.
• Shrink – this one is my favorite It shrinks your icons on the springboard to how small you want it. Together with the use of FiveIRows, your screen wouldnt look so cluttered.
• Silver Metal Media Player – a glossy ipod media player with a silver metal slider
• SMS Balloon Colors – has five different color sets. Mine is in pink and baby blue so the text can be easy to read
• Status Bar Locks – the tiny lock graphic at the status bar when youre about to unlock your iphone
• Wifi Black n White – as the name implies.. its the graphic that shows up in your status when your phone detects a wifi signal.

iLove my iPhone now ♥♥♥  You can actually try jailbreaking your device on your own, its really safe. Have fun!

I’ve been hiding too long from this blog but I feel like getting around and post stuff I’ve been busy designing as usual and enjoy gaming like hell!.. on an iPhone! I mean I thought I was contented at pc gaming but my addiction got worse when I bought a 16gig iPhone 3GS last October. Heres the first game I bought:

And yes, thats my avatar you are looking at. I love pink hair This is like the best social game ever created by Tapulous. If youre feeling competitive, you can go head to head with other tappers (yes thats how these gamers are called in TTR3). Or play single player and dominate the world leaderboards. If you are able to ‘full combo’ a song with a high score, you should video yourself doing it and show it off on youtube. Thats how hardcore these tappers are! I actually made a youtube account already just to show off my vids

So if youre into rhythm games like Percussion Master or Guitar Hero, you’ll definitely enjoy tapping away to Tap Tap Revenge 3. Whats even better is that this game is FREE on the app store. So go grab it!
