'Fringe': John Noble & Anna Torv talk William Bell, Blair Brown, alternate universes

“Fringe” is all new this week with a very Walter/Observer-centric episode, which Olivia has a big part in too (apart from Walter though). In honor of that, I thought we should spend a little quality-time with the two actors behind the roles.

In his clip below, John Noble drops the news that he and a certain special someone have already filmed scenes together, so Walter and that VIP will be face-to-face on-screen pretty soon.

Plus, he’s got some pretty interesting things to say about Blair Brown, it’s kind of awesome.

As for Anna Torv, she’s being somewhat “cheeky” as Noble would say, but still very cute and she teases to tonight’s events…

'So You Think You Can Dance': Nigel, Mary & Adam on why Channing & Kevin got cut, who could leave next week

"So You Think You Can Dance" cut two more last night, dwindling the Top 20 to 12.

Certainly, it wasn't all that surprising to see Kevin/Karen and Channing/Victor in the bottom three, but the presence of Mollee and Nathan -- who fully redeemed themselves this Tuesday with a solid performance -- proves that the voting audience really does listen to what the judges say, as Nigel Lythgoe was quite critical of the two of them last week.

But, in the end, Mollee and Nathan had nothing to worry about, because the judges sent hip hop dancer Kevin Hunte and contemporary dancer Channing Cooke home. So why were they cut?

Nigel -- who hasn't been shy with his criticism of the "dance for your life" solos performed thus far -- ponders fan backlash as far as Nathan is concerned in his clip below, but he also shares his thoughts on the departing dancers and what Channing lacks that Karen and Mollee have in spades.

Mary Murphy explains what she expects from a solo and who needs to step up their game.

Adam Shankman talks candidly about who he is most disappointed to see leave this week, his thoughts on why Mollee and Nathan ended up in danger, plus who he feels is most at risk of leaving next Wednesday.

Channing and Kevin -- the guests of honor -- put on a brave face for the camera, though they probably went into a bathroom and cried (or something) afterward.

You guys watching “The League” on FX? The half hour comedy following “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” on Thursdays? The one about a bunch of friends and their fantasy football league?

If not, you should definitely start.

Following five really funny dudes, a few of their wives and a coveted trophy that is kept by the winner of their fantasy league each year, football is merely the backdrop of the drama (and the funny) on this series.

So if you’re into the game, you’ll appreciate the few solid references they drop throughout an episode. But if you’re not, you can still get into what’s going on. Because at the end of the day, it’s really the human drama that runs the show. Just like “Friday Night Lights”… the only difference is that you probably won’t hear any “finger up the b-tt” jokes on “FNL” anytime soon, whereas “finger up the b-tt” jokes are no big deal on a “League” ep.

Speaking of, I just had a drink with one of the stars of the series, Mr. Paul Scheer —whom you’ll probably recognize from VH1’s “Best Week Ever” or MTV’s “Human Giant” with Aziz Ansari of “Parks and Recreation” fame— and this finger up the b-tt business came up.

We also talked about future guest stars, his successful yet still abused character Andre and curing cancer too.

Oh, Chad “Child Please” OchoCinco of The Cincinnati Bengals was mentioned as well and, yeah, I might’ve brought up former New York Giant and star of FOX’s new “Brothers” sitcom, Michael Strahan… for obvious reasons.

Was I the only one pleased to find out Tina's stutter was fake?

Up until that reveal, I just kept thinking, wow, Jenna Ushkowitz is really bad at pretending to talk funny.

Turns out she's actually just great at pretending to pretend to talk funny!

It was the night of television that longtime "Melrose Place" fans had been waiting for, but...

I mean, Heather Locklear looks pretty good. And, yeah, I want to know what it is that posthumous Sydney is taunting her with, but I don't think her arrival was all that compelling.

The highlight of last night for me? The previews for next Monday (er, actually it's December 1st that the show is back).

Thought I’d answer a few quick ones for two shows near and dear to my heart…

Will Zach Braff still be the star of “Scrubs” when it comes back December 1st? Whaddu u know? -Kel
Though some of you may be seeing promos which suggest that Zach will remain the star of of the show this season, that’s not exactly true. He will play a significant role, having done six of the 13 episodes set to start airing next month (and I just spoke with creator Bill Lawrence who seemed pretty confident about saying that Zach will do even more if ABC orders additional eps), but the stars of the new and improved “Scrubs” are definitely Kerry Bishe, Dave Franco and Mike Mosely.

Kerry Bishe — who plays a young, insecure med student at “Scrubs” new University set-up — will actually take over Zach’s voice over duties, so she’s essentially the show’s focal point now. But your old school favorites are still doing their thing, don’t fret. Zach, Donald Faison (Turk), John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox), Ken Jenkins (Kelso), Sarah Chalke (Elliot) and Neil Flynn (The Janitor) all show up for the premiere and will continue to pop up… Donald and Johnny C regularly… Zach, Ken and Sarah often.

Will Sarah Chalke’s real-life pregnancy be written into the new season of “Scrubs”? -Kate
It will. But we won’t see her deliver or anything. The logistics of that were just a little too complicated. There is, however, a little J.D.-Elliot on the way in TV land.

Jasper on “90210” is awesome! Is he going to kill Annie when he finds out that she totally murdered his uncle? -P
Ha, no. Actually, he’s going to discover the truth sooner than later, but it seems his passionate, crazy love for Miss Wilson will keep him from ratting her out… that doesn’t mean she won’t get caught though. The writers aren’t going to leave her hit-and-run storyline hanging too much longer.

What are Liam and his friends going to do to get back at Naomi’s sister on “90210”?! If they do get back at her, do you think Liam will get back together with Naomi?! -shreya
Naomi’s sister Jen is going to get what’s coming her way. Finally. As for Liam and Naomi, listen up…

Happy Birthday, Danny DeVito!

We loved the man long before he was Frank Reynolds of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia," but this latest turn certainly hasn't hurt him.

On the contrary, his involvement with the show seems to encourage a continued youth for DeVito.

I mean, do we really think he'd be talking about his balls, his bare behind and his, you know, man parts in this interview if it wasn't for the bad influence of Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day?

Well, who knows, perhaps he would.

Either way, on this special occasion, as the beloved DeVito -- who couldn't possibly be a sweeter man, truly -- turns 65 and the "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" Christmas DVD Special drops, we toast Danny.

Treat yourself to a copy of the "Sunny" Christmas Special in celebration, surely it'll help knock some holiday spirit into you and your own gang.

Order some d-ck towels while you're at it.

But first, spend a bit of quality time with DeVito outside the "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" Christmas Special party...

Is it just us, or has "Castle" gotten really good?

Not saying we weren't into season one... but season two has upped the fun flirting, the insane cases and, of course, the shout outs to Nathan Fillion's projects of the past, making it a pretty enjoyable hour of TV every week.

So, yeah, we decided we'd send KTV correspondent Marisa Roffman to stalk executive producer Rob Bowman at an IBG, Inc.-run charity event celebrating "X-Files" (on which he was a producer/frequent director).

She grilled him on this Monday's "Castle" episode, upcoming guest star Alyssa Milano, whether he's going to direct the possible third "X-F" feature film and more...

Your queries, my replies on a few of our favorite series: "Desperate Housewives" and "90210" of course. But first up, "How I Met Your Mother"...

Will Barney and Robin's break up stick? -Mari
Indeed. Be prepared for the Barnana to revert back to his old man-whore ways now that he and Robin have split. And since Robin is apparently the coolest chick in the world, there won't really even be weirdness. The group dynamic will pretty much return to what it used to be.

Can you just tell us what's going on with Drea de Matteo's character on "Desperate Housewives" already? -Gina
Uh, no, I can't actually. But I will tell you that this is not a mystery that will span the entire season. In fact, the reveal is coming. Angie Bolin has been on the run for 18 years, but she should be in FBI custody by the holidays. And I'm hearing that the crimes she's committed may land her in prison for the rest of her life.

Any new info on "90210"? I feel like you always have something. -Patrick
Yeah, I've got quite a bit but I'm saving some of it for early next week, so check back Tuesday. For now, I'll just say that you can expect a new romantic pairing at West Bev in the near future... though I'm not quite sure how you'll feel about the union. Any guesses on who the lucky couple is? Think it over for a sec, then watch the video below to find out...

At "So You Think You Can Dance" last night for the first straight-up elimination show, I was able to spend some alone time with the week's casualties, tapper Peter Sabasino and jazz dancer Pauline Mata.

The pair talked about what's next for them and Peter weighed in on tap's presence in the competition, as well as which finalists he plans to move in with...

I also spoke to judge Nigel Lythgoe about letting the third and final tapper go, why he was so hard on fan favorite Nathan Trasoras during the ep and whether or not he's still thinking about welcoming season 5's Phillip Chbeeb back on the show to choreograph.

When Nigel and I talked just weeks ago, Phillip was the only season 5 name he mentioned when asked about the next possible alum choreographers. He seemed down to have the expert popper join the likes of Travis Wall, Benji Schwimmer, Dmitry Chaplin and Anya Garnis, but I guess he's got a reservation or two now...

By the way, I spoke with hip hop choreographer Dave Scott -- who did this week's Apocalypto-inspired group routine -- after the show and he did not hesitate to express his support for Phillip's return. When I asked him if he thought the popper style would be too difficult for future contestants to pick up, he said "No, I think they'll get it, I think it would be dope. It would be a different [flavor] in the mix. And that's what it's about, throwin' them under the bus a bit anyway. They're going to get out in the real world and have to deal with these different styles, so why not have them go through it on the show. Plus, it'll be entertaining."

Agreed, Dave Scott. Agreed!

Come on, Nigel. Bring Phillip back to teach some popping in season 7. Pleeeeease? Let him start with a non-competition group routine if you're so nervous about it, we know he'll find a way to make it work.

On Monday, "Glee"'s Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer hit L.A.'s Arclight theater with a couple other cast members to celebrate this week's "Wheels" episode.

Both boys play a big part in the hour's drama with Artie getting some special attention from his classmates -- Ms. Tina, in particular -- and Kurt going head-to-head with Rachel for the next big solo.

I heart the cast of “V”…

They laugh when I tell them I don’t like them, when I confuse them with “High School Musical” characters and when I question their parenting skills.
