<p><a
href="http://www.momentfactory.com/en/project/street/Megaphone">Megaphone</a>
by <a href="http://www.momentfactory.com" target="_blank">Moment
Factory</a>, is an urban art installation about reappropriating
public space, that gives everyone an opportunity to join in on the
discussion. As participants speak, their words are transformed, in
real time, into images projected onto the façade of the University
of Quebec in Montreal, leaving their visual "footprint" on the
urban landscape.</p>

<p>Inspired by the city's early 20th-century history of popular
assemblies as well as the 19th-century British tradition of the
Speaker's Corner, the installation gives everyone a chance to speak
out and air their concerns. Megaphone is presented by the <a

Canada</a> and <a href="http://www.quartierdesspectacles.com/en/"

Airport (LAX).<br />
<br />
 The objective of the installation is to enhance the passenger
experience and bring back the romance and magic of travel.&nbsp;
The Moment Factory team created four hours of original video
content, as well as multiple interactive capsules, using the latest
in high-resolution imaging, 3D effects and even technologies that
react directly to people's movements and real-time airport
information. The result is the largest immersive multimedia system
of any airport in the Americas.<br />

Zoe Hatziyannaki</a>'s diptych series <a
href="http://zoehatziyannaki.com/index.php?/projects/secrets-and-crises/"
 target="_blank">Secrets &amp; Crises</a>, portray public buildings
in Athens, Greece, juxtaposed with enlarged window details taken
from the buildings' photographs.</p>

<p><em>"The juxtapositions of the two images seek to suggest the
questionable role of the State and its institutions today in
Greece. A role which is seriously disputed under the current
crisis. The depiction of the buildings aims to offer an as much as
possible detached view, as if it was forming a kind of (ironic)
architectural typology. Yet the blown-up, poor quality images of
the windows on the right play a disturbing role suggesting
something is hidden and unclear -in their effort to scrutinize the
rather 'innocent' image of the building on the left in order to
find evidence of what or who is to blame- however without really
revealing anything (an idea referring to the park photograph in
M.Antonioni 's 'Blow-Up', 1966). Hinting that the lives of those
buildings are not so organized and tidy after all, that they have
secrets and obscure operations, which even though more or less
everybody share, there is always a vagueness about them,
responsible for generating feelings of frustration and fear which
are met at present in Greece."</em></p>
