HBO has over 800 hours of Movies and HBO TV available online through its own HBO Go streaming web service.  And yes, that includes the “Taxicab Confessions” type programming as well.  Somehow I think that will be among the most popular watched shows.

At the moment, content is only provided to subscribers on Verizon Fios and Comcast at no additional cost.  According to Bloomberg, HBO Go will become available for the Apple iPad and other mobile devices within the next 6 months.

Overall, the site is easy to navigate, offers lots of show extras, and gives more detailed information about the cast and crew.  800 hours sounds like a lot, but it is really a very small segment of their entire library of HBO shows.  Hopefully we will see a separate paid model for non-subscribers when HBO Go hits mobile devices.

It seems that Apple has finally released the Magic Trackpad for all of you non-laptop types.  Increasing the size of the normal trackpad by about 80%, the form fits the same shape and style as the keyboard.  Very cool.  It sells for $69 in the Apple Store.

There is another video out there of a lost iPhone 4G. This time it is from Vietnam, which leads me to believe that it is the real deal.  Some indications from the breakdown of the phone suggest that the new iPhone will be using an A4 processor, which like iPad would give the new phone some serious battery life (finally).

From what I can see, it seems as though the theory of there being a second mic (to cancel out background noise) like the Nexus-One, is not in this release. It also looks like there is a regular sim card (not a micro-sim).

Thanks to Andrew Devigal for the $0.69 Office Depot iPad stand.  I’ll give it and let you know how it works out.

I’m sure that the Office Depot people are wondering why business card holders are selling like hotcakes.

Folders have now taken my 200 apps and condensed them to 3 screens. Fantastic! And the notifications for apps in that folder will be an exclamation point on the folder.

Tap on the folder and you get a pop-up to see the apps inside.

You can choose if you want merged mailbox view, or each individual mailbox.

Location services has an area for allowing location turned on for apps

Accessibility- Triple click can do B&W or Voice-over text

Camera roll showed icons for faces (if my watermark doesn't ruin the shot)

• iTunes doesn’t sync the folders yet in the Apps tab.  I am sure that will be coming.
• SSL VPN not in this version yet
• Pop-up notifications are still the same… argh

I will keep you updated with anything new that I find.
