So I got down to 70 cards… almost had to burn up some of my collection reward cards but I made it without… Finished my first game last night without a freeze so this fix seems to work.

i just got off the phone with ea tech support. i spoke to a really nice woman for about 20 minutes just to hear “yea were just tech support, alot of us here are experiencing the same issue..the developers are working on a patch and will be finished shortly” she did give me a $20 off coupon that i can use in the EA store. but the fact of the matter is that MUT is still down and will be down indefinitely. She also suggest i can make a new psn name as an alternative until the patch is done. I personally will just go back to mw2 until a patch is updated. phone number i called was (650)-628-1001.

I agree – I think it was a mistake for T-mobile to brand it simply with MHz. I would’ve liked their marketing department to say something like “next-generation processor” instead, and let the benchmarks speak for themselves.

Its going to be just like other dukes…just with better graphics.
It’ll be the best Duke game but still may not be good enough for gamers today.

This game wasn’t going for 10 years straight…It was started and stopped frequently and restarted from scratch. 10 years of procrastination and scrapping the projects.

You can’t read into this too much because at the end of the day you know exactly what to expect from this game. This won’t replace COD or other FPS’s for gamers but it is a fun FPS to play on the side.

I was actually impressed…

Thanks for the comment but I never said that it wouldn’t live up to the hype, I just said it would have a hard time doing so. I even said that no matter what we should celebrate the fact that the game even came out at all. The post was more about the probability that lots of mainstream sites will be unfairly tough on it and that it would be a shame if that happened.

Wow, an article detailing that duke nukem forever probably won’t live up to expectations. This is groundbreaking journalism. I mean, it’s been thirteen years, it’s not like anyone has considered this as a possibility right? Of course Duke won’t live up to a thirteen year development cycle! This game took more time to develop than it takes a human being to be born and reach puberty, unless this game actually comes with a blowjob dispenser it won’t live up to the height of a thirteen year development cycle. But maybe we should all try something ground breaking and just play the game for its intrinsic quality. You know? That really bizarre thing you can do where you judge a game on its inherent qualities?

That’s where you went wrong, I am pretty convinced I have the formula. It has never crashed on me this way so far.

1. You must have less than 69 or less total cards.
2. You may not have any cards pending for a collection, its ok to put cards up for collection but make sure you either insert them or pull them back before you play a game.
3. When it come to auctions, you may not have any cards up for auction and you may not have a pending bid. This one is the important one. If you have bid for a card, even if you have been outbid but it hasn’t closed yet you will still get the BSOD. You can not have any open auctions period, they must all be DONE, or else you get the error.

If you have all these things true and still get there error let me know but I have played several games with this config and had no problems.

I have no idea. I thought I had it figured out but I just played a game with 69 cards. 55 player cards I have 6 in auction. I know I have played it like that before and did not get BSoD but this time I kicked a field goal with 4 seconds left and instant BSoD. I will let EA figure it out.
