The result of a male lion with a female tiger, a Liger. This humongous cat is about 900 pounds and relatively bigger than its mother and father. This is truly amazing, seeing how big this Liger is, twice the size of its parents.

Llama Llama But Not In Pajama

Most kids love Llamas as they read the storybooks "Llama, Llama Red Pajama" or watch Go Diego. To be honest I didn't know any about Llamas before until after hearing our little boy talk about it. That's how we started learning and trying to know more about this animal. Funny enough when we drove past a rocky mountain (they are known to be great climbers), our little boy was desperately looking out to see a Llama perched on the rocky mountain peak.

The Animal Whisperer

Are you a pet person or not? Not everybody has patience when it comes to pets or any animal at all but there are few gifted people who truly embrace the animals. An example would be the dedicated veterinarians who aid the ailing ones, give much TLC and serve as their lifeline support. Zookeepers and Animal Welfare workers are other examples of dedicated people looking after the animals around us. How about an Animal Whisperer? Have you heard of such?

An animal Whisperer is someone who is referred to as Animal Communicator. This person communicates and connects with animals, may it be pets or wild ones. How they do that is something I honestly don't fully understand, it's their special "thing". It can be in a way of reading animal behavior or sensing its health, while others talk to the animals. Special right?

Pet owners usually find ways to connect with their beloved pets. Somehow they learn and understand, know and feel and have that sense of closeness with their pets. It's a special feeling, a special connection that not everybody can have. What the heck could a translation service do for your pets, it's something not by the book. No matter how much we try to decode every bark or meow we hear, it could still mean anything. I guess I could say it's sensing through the animals that makes you commune and understand, just like the Animal Whisperers.

I would've never imagined that the Honey Badger is a fearless creature. After watching this video, i learned that they are fearless of cobra snakes, bee stings and other predators. No doubt, I will never look at Honey Badgers the same way as I used to.

Zoo is a fun place for the entire family most especially for those with kids. It's nice to see the kids all excited and happy before even reaching the zoo. They are just so ecstatic, even more if it's their first visit ever. The hype escalates as they enter the zoo and start seeing animal up close. Truly an experience that stays in their memory bank and carried on until they are all grown up and have their own little ones.

Zoo time can really be fun but don't forget that kids have exceptional energy level than adults. They can go on forever as if not tired at all while the grown ups are just about ready to retire. It's a total bummer for kids to cut the chase and tell them time's up because mom, dad, grandpops and grandmom cannot keep up anymore. None of them would want to see a complete meltdown so make sure to cradle your footsies with good support. Wearing comfort shoes for women and men alike is a must to keep up with the little ones.

Architecture and construction exhibits are considered to be a "must see" event. It is where you can meet suppliers, professionals and find the best and the latest materials for construction. It is quite refreshing to see so many things which can help improve and complete a certain design. It is like the shopping haven for designers, architects, engineers and other people of similar fields.

Most trade show displays are bold and very appealing with coordinated logo floor mats and banners. In some exhibits, even the truss and exhibit booths are well coordinated with the theme and product or service they are selling. It is actually good that way so people can easily spot which one they need to check out. Although it is fun to go through all the vendors within the exhibit, it can be very tiring and time consuming if the hall is in a larger scale.

It is true that everything can be seen and bought online but there's something special when you see, feel and find what you want as compared to virtual images. From there you can see the craftsmanship and product quality, therefore you can make better decisions. Such exhibits are not showcased all the time so it's really worth going when there's an open exhibition.

I surfed the web using my matthews clearwire internet connection yesterday for at least three hours. My husband and I have two weddings that we have to attend this spring. He is in both weddings, so that means that I am going to have to have a dress to wear to the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. His outfits are already taken care of, a suit and a tux. He has a bunch of ties too. I just can’t seem to find anything that is decently priced that I like. Since when did the price of a cocktail dress reach an average of three hundred dollars? Maybe I just haven’t bought anything in a while, but these weddings are breaking me! I just hope that I will be able to find something that strikes my fancy. I hate going somewhere and not liking what I am wearing. I always have less fun than when I feel like I am put together and look nice. I guess that I am going to have to go back to surfing the web again tomorrow, I can’t stop until I find something!

I'm not sure why wearing aprons in the kitchen really went out of style for a lot of years. They're so handy to have around and it's nice not to spill stuff all over your clothes and run the risk of ruining them. I recently had to replace my old one that had kept my clothes looking pristine for years and I was really sad to part with it. But it looked so worn that I knew I had to do something else with it.

I went shopping online to find a good replacement apron and when I was looking, I saw some info on debt settlement and after I looked through it a little bit I decided on using the service to help out our family's finances. I'm not sure how to do that on my own and I think that we could sure use that help.

I found this adorable little checkered apron and decided that I could recreate that on my own. So that's going to be a little weekend project of me and I can start doing stuff in the kitchen without worrying about my clothes again.

CRYING CAT

When I got home from work today I was exhausted. So tired in fact that I plopped down on the couch and flipped on Direct tv before I did anything else. The reason I was so tired is that I did not get any sleep the night before. The neighbor has a cat that is usually in the house. Sometimes they let the cat out and it stays out at night. Sometimes the cat will come right up to my bedroom window ( or at least it seems like it) and whine. I don’t know how to really describe how this cat whines, because I have never heard any other cat do it, but it sounds like a baby screaming. I mean it really sounds like a baby crying. When I first moved in and didn’t know what it was it really frightened me. I always heard that you should never open the door if you hear a baby crying that criminals use that tactic to get in your home. Unfortunately the cat insisted on crying from two in the morning until five. I almost called the neighbors so that the cat would shut up, but I have a dog and know that he barks sometimes and didn’t want to start a war.

They have large ears that rotate much like satellite dishes to detect any sound and a large nose that has an excellent sense of smell to detect predators.

I was on the internet researching http://www.tvbydirect.com/directv-deal/VIRGINIA-VA-direct-tv.html when I came across a blog by a working mom. On her blog page, she used the term “half- mom.” This phrase caught my attention, so I started reading further. Through the course of her entry, she was talking about the idea that moms nowadays are half-moms because we feel so split between our careers and our families. This leads to feelings that, as mothers, we can only do our jobs at home half way, and at work we can only give half our effort there as well. It’s tough to feel so split. I love being a working mother. I feel like I am a better mom because I work. As a teacher, I feel like I am a more empathetic teacher because I am a mother too. The two seem to be a good compliment to one another; however, I agree with the sentiment that at times I feel like I am not doing either job as fully as I could. When I am stuck at work grading mounds of papers, I find myself distracted and worrying over what is happening or not happening at home. When I am home, it is easy to feel like I should be spending more of my hours dedicated to answering emails or grading those nagging papers or tests. I guess this idea of “half-mom” just goes with the territory of being a working mother.
