Alanis Morissette has finally spoken out about her feelings regarding ex-fiance Ryan Reynolds and his engagement to actress/singer Scarlett Johannson, claiming that the couple were meant to be together "spiritually."
Ryan started dating Scarlett last year a few months after he ended his 4 year relationship with Alanis.
Alanis is not claiming that she has no hard feelings because, "On a certain spiritual level, I feel like everyone's where they need to be."
I'm concerned. When Alanis and Ryan broke up I was a little excited inside. Not because Ryan Reynolds was available, but because I knew that all that anger and bitterness Alanis had would be put into a new album that I could then listen to and revel in my own bitterness.
What a shame...
Oh, but yeah, good for Alanis. Good for her to be able to get over the hottest actor of our time and be in a happy, positive song state.
I'm still hoping her album Flavors of Entanglement which drops June 10 will prove otherwise.

I hope ScarJo comes to her senses. This guy will be a ball and chain on her life and career, especially once they marry and he develops a Ryan Philippe/Ethan Hawke inferiority complex.
