mp3DirectCut is All You Need to Cut Your MP3!

I really enjoyed my offline adventures but nevertheless, here are some blog, um, stuff.

The minima template took a hammering this week and ended up with this almost-finished product. No banner, just a 125x125 Avatar. (or is it Gravatar?) Let me see... This is a Gravatar!, a globally recognized avatar. ;)

Onto some software I interfered with.

Some tunes have a cool ring to them, and I enjoy creating my own custom loops off parts of these tracks, and then use them as my ring-tone. I came across an old favorite called mp3DirectCut. It has always been freeware and has now got an installer for its simple GUI. You need to have the Lame 3.97 codec installed to get it running. mp3DirectCut is child's play when it comes to cutting a segment off an MP3 and saving it for other uses.

This is for Windows, not sure about WINE, haven't tried.

Here is the mp3DirectCut page and the Lame download page.

:)

Have fun cutting and pasting your mp3s!
