Free High-Res Photoshop Brushes: Grungy Watercolor
I’ve got another set of killer brushes for everyone. These are, as always, super large brushes. There are 10 in the set, and I also included a zip file with PNGs for non-Photoshop users. I’ll be releasing the actual textures themselves in another post soon. I made these from a combination of watercolor and india ink. Hope you put them to good use :) Preview and download after the jump.

Is there anything you can’t do?
Another great set. Thanks so much!
Awesome work.
nice stuff. what kind of scanner do you have?
Thanks!!!
Very nice, thanks for these. They’re already coming in handy :)
Aggggghhhhhhh!! Reminds me of my last Rorschach test. Actually, these are kick-ass… The test wasn’t. I’ll make my own damned test and take it to the psychologist and say, “Now it’s your turn…”
Great set of brushed to add to my collections. These are great. Thanks.
These are wonderful, thank you very much for sharing them
fantastic and thank you! I love your hi-res brushes. I genuinely look forward to your brush and texture freebies.
With BittBox brushes you don’t need any other in your library. Awesome work as always! Thanks for sharing.
Man I reaaallly want to know what kind of scanner Bitt uses! These are sharp!
I use a Canon CanoScan LIDE 600f. Got it for about $99 I think, and that was about a year ago. I really like it because it doesn’t need a power cord. 1 USB port does the data and the power.

Great stuff man.
I just wanted to offer a thanks for all the really great stuff you’ve offered!
And I have a CanoScan also. Have had it for a while. Even when I was given a free printer/scanner with my new computer, I still only use the CS. No power cord - what more could you want?
Thank you very much. Very useful set.
Well done!

These look gorgeous, but in the brush-stroke preview, how do you get it so the brush is smooth and fluid and not all jagged and repetitive like that?

Hi - I downloaded the brushes in the CS 1 version, but when I opened them up, they seem to only be for MAC, and I’m on a PC. Also, I don’t know how you install them into Photoshop? Can someone explain? I wasn’t able to open up the Mac version, though. It had an .abr extension. I guess I am not familiar enough with the brushes, to know what to do.
