Drew Walter Peterson, is a former Bolingbrook, Illinois police sergeant and alleged double-murderer who has received nationwide attention in the United States for becoming a suspect in a police investigation following the death of his third wife and subsequent disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy. Peterson has repeatedly denied involvement in both cases. Stacy Peterson went missing on Sunday, October 28, 2007. She was officially reported missing in the early hours of Monday, October 29, 2007, after her sister, Cassandra Cales, failed to hear from her when expected. Drew Peterson claims that Stacy called him at 9 p.m. on Sunday to tell him that she had left him for another man and that she had left her car at Bolingbrook’s Clow International Airport. Drew Peterson had a 29 year career as a policeman. Peterson brought forward his planned December 2007 retirement as a Bolingbrook police sergeant following Stacy’s October 28 disappearance. The Bolingbrook Police Pension Board voted on November 15, 2007 to allow Peterson to collect his $6,067.71 per month pension, stating current law gave them no option, as Peterson had not been convicted of any crime.

Former Bolingbrook’s police sergeant Drew Peterson, whose wife vanished without a trace three weeks ago, said in one of the numerous interviews he’s had since, that he is “prepared” to be arrested, Chicago Sun-Times reported. Police are also investigating the death of Peterson’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, whose drowning in 2004 is now considered by some officials to have been a homicide. While relatives and friends of missing Illinois housewife Stacy Peterson observed her 24th birthday this week with a solemn vigil, the main suspect in her disappearance — her husband — is going public with his desire to start dating.

“Stacy is not missing,” Drew Peterson’s attorney, Joel Brodsky, told TODAY co-host Matt Lauer on Thursday. “Drew Peterson has said from day one — and he believes and he knows — that Stacy has run off with another man. He’s a single man. He’s raising his children the best he can. And he’s entitled to get on with his life. Stacy’s run off with another man, so she’s moved on with her life. Why should Drew be sitting in a dark room?”

Peterson remains the only suspect in Stacy Peterson’s disappearance on Oct. 28. Police are also re-examining the 2004 bathtub drowning death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, which was ruled accidental at the time.

Estelle Getty, the diminutive actress who spent 40 years struggling for success before landing a role of a lifetime in 1985 as the sarcastic octogenarian Sophia on TV’s “The Golden Girls,” has died. She was 84.

Getty, who suffered from advanced dementia, died at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at her Hollywood Boulevard home, said her son, Carl Gettleman of Santa Monica.

“The Golden Girls” culminated a long struggle for success during which Getty worked low-paying office jobs to help support her family while she tried to make it as a stage actress.

“I knew I could be seduced by success in another field, so I’d say, ‘Don’t promote me, please,’” she recalled. “The Golden Girls,” which ran from 1985 to 1992, was an immediate hit, and Sophia, who began as a minor character, soon evolved into a major one. Her last role, according to IMDB, was an episode of the short-lived TV series Ladies Man, in 2000. Her other film and TV credits include: Stuart Little, Mad About You, Touched by an Angel, Blossom, and Tootsie.

To all of Estelle’s Fans,

Sadly, today July 22, 2008 at 5:35 a.m. Pacific Time, we said our last good-byes to our little friend Estelle, who passed away and made her journey to the great beyond. Although it was a trip that she never wanted to take, she went gracefully, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family and her very loving care-givers.

Getty was evasive about her height, acknowledging only that she was “under 5 feet and under 100 pounds.”

In addition to her son Carl, Getty is survived by son Barry Gettleman, of Miami; a brother, David Scher of London; and a sister, Rosilyn Howard of Las Vegas. Born Estelle Scher in New York City in 1923, Getty wanted to be an entertainer from an early age, despite her small size and the initial objections of her Polish immigrant parents. Check out this YouTube clip of Sophia’s best moments from season one of the Golden Girls:

Apparently, the OJ Simpson jury had a nice vacation in Cleveland. 12 morons decided not to give Terrence Hough (the fire fighter who killed three people and injured two last july 5th) the death penalty.

He killed three young adults who were making noise after midnight. He decided to grab a fucking 40 caliber and shoot 5 unarmed people, because calling the police and have these guys arrested apparently was too light of a punishment, right? … Terrance Hough Jr. bent the stem of the witness stand microphone toward himself, cleared his throat and unfurled a list of apologies, typed entirely in capital letters.

To his family and friends… to his fellow firefighters… to the community he was sworn to protect. And to the families of the three people he killed and the two he wounded in a barrage of hollow-point bullets.

Hough delivered his unsworn statement in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Wednesday. The jury that convicted him of three counts of aggravated murder and two counts of attempted murder must now decide whether to recommend a death sentence. They could opt for life in prison without parole or life with the chance to apply for parole in 25 or 30 years.

Defendants in capital murder cases may read an unsworn statement without facing cross-examination by prosecutors. The victims were identified as Jacob Feichtner, 24, who lived at the house where the party was taking place; Katherine M. Rosby, 26, of Lakewood; and Bruce R. Anderson, 30, of Parma.

Judy Hough’s words tumbled from her mouth in a tangle of sobs and whimpers, her hands quivering like birds searching for a place to land.

“Oh God, please!” she wailed from the witness stand as she begged for her son’s life. “He has two kids. He’ll never see them again. Please, I beg of you! Oh God, please!”

The mother of Cleveland firefighter Terrance Hough Jr. implored Cuyahoga County jurors to have mercy on her son as they began the sentencing phase of Hough’s capital murder trial Tuesday.

Federal prosecutors say former KYW-TV anchor Larry Mendte gained access to Alycia Lane’s accounts from home and at work — about 537 times between January and May alone — and shared some of the information he found with a reporter. Lane’s attorney said the motive was jealousy, but authorities were silent on Mendte’s motive and his method.

“The mere accessing and reading of privileged information is criminal,” acting U.S. Attorney Laurie Magid said. “This case, however, went well beyond just reading someone’s e-mail.”

The allegations are the latest in what is playing out as a titillating local news rivalry that has already ended Lane’s career at KYW-TV, the CBS affiliate in Philadelphia. She was fired in January after a series of embarrassing off-camera incidents, including a scuffle with a New York City police officer.

Now the scandal revolves around Mendte’s alleged off-camera conduct. A one-count information charges Mendte, who co-anchored the news with Lane for more than four years, with a felony count of intentionally accessing a protected computer without authorization.

Mendte, 51, was fired last month after FBI agents searched his home and seized his computer.

“As we continually have said from day one, Larry has been cooperating fully with the investigators,” said his attorney, Michael Schwartz. “He continues to cooperate and will accept full responsibility for his actions.”

After accessing Lane’s e-mail, Mendte contacted a Philadelphia Daily News reporter and relayed details about her criminal case in New York, including a change in a hearing date and other information, prosecutors said.

Lane’s attorney Paul Rosen said he believes Mendte also was behind other leaks that got his client into the gossip pages, including one last year in which she e-mailed photos of herself in a bikini to NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen. Eisen’s wife intercepted the pictures.

Authorities found a picture of Lane in a bikini on Mendte’s computer, though there are no charges connected to the image.

Rosen alleged that Mendte acted out of jealousy, starting when Lane was offered a new contract in February 2005. Lane was making $780,000, or about $100,000 more than her co-anchor, he said.

“Her star was climbing, while his was not climbing,” Rosen said. “… His conduct was designed to undermine her.”

Mendte and Lane anchored the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts from September 2003 until Lane was fired. In a statement, a station official declined to comment on the charge against Mendte.

Mendte has been off the air since May 29, the day his home was searched and computer seized. He was fired June 23, days after Lane filed a lawsuit in which she alleged, among other things, that keeping Mendte on the payroll during a federal probe amounted to sex discrimination.

In firing Lane, the station said her confrontation with a New York police officer made it “impossible for Alycia to continue to report the news as she, herself, has become the focus of so many news stories.”

New York prosecutors in February downgraded felony charges that Lane struck the officer, and a judge pledged to drop the remaining charges in August if she is not arrested again.

Mendte, who is married to local Fox news anchor Dawn Stensland, joined the station in July 2003 after several years at the local NBC affiliate. He previously co-hosted “Access Hollywood” and worked at stations in Chicago, San Diego and New York.

Federal guidelines call for a sentence of up to six months in prison if Mendte is found guilty.

There is a lot frenzy on internet at the moment for story related to Alycia Lane. Her famous bikini pictures can be found here. To start with, Alycia Lane is a 34 years old American television journalist and erstwhile co-anchor of the weekday evening newscasts on KYW-TV in Philadelphia.

Everything was going well until May 2007 when Lane emailed pictures of herself and friends, depicting her in a bikini, to the NFL Network’s Rich Eisen. These pictures found their way to the national media via her wife. Lane insisted that the pictures were harmless[6] and that she and Eisen have been “purely platonic” friends “for almost 10 years”, and that they “regularly exchange e-mail and photos”

Things seemed to have settled down but during December the same year, Lane was charged with one felony count of assault on a police officer.

This was followed by Lane’s release from her contract with KYW-TV. It said “The termination comes at a time when there has been absolutely no determination that Alycia is guilty of any wrongful conduct, and after KYW-TV has aired her categorical denial of the alleged charge that is pending against her. The termination is unfair because Alycia has never had an opportunity to defend against this charge, and tell her side of the story publicly, before KYW-TV has taken this unusual and unwarranted step to terminate her employment.”

Now, Alycia Lane is again in news as her ex-colleague Larry Mendte has been charged with accessing her e-mail box unlawfully and and intentionally accessing a protected computer without authorization. This could lead to serious consequences for Larry Mendte. As old as the controversy is, we still get a ton of traffic from the Google search “Alycia Lane Bikini Pics.”

As of yet, the infamously flirtatious Philadelphia news anchor has never posted bikini pics online — which is what makes the search fruitless.

But, just in case you’re interested, we have more fake Alycia Lane bikini pics after the jump.

Christian Bale was picked up by Scotland Yard this morning after his mother and sister claimed he assaulted them in his London hotel room Sunday night. Police didn’t arrest Christian for questioning yesterday because of The Dark Knight premiere. Also, he’s not considered a flight risk (Really? Batman?) and the cops don’t quite believe the seriousness of the allegations. TMZ is reporting the alleged assault was most likely verbal which apparently you can get arrested for in England. Ah, those wacky Brits. Christian Bale has already been released and his reps issued the following statement: “Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.” Batman’s Christian Bale was arrested in London on Tuesday, following assault allegations reportedly made by his own mother and sister.

He was released from the Belgravia precinct station later in the afternoon with a 10-man police escort, in a blacked-out silver Mercedes people carrier. Bale is to return to police in September, pending further inquiry, a police spokesperson tells PEOPLE.

The actor, 34, allegedly lashed out at his mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, on Sunday at London’s Dorchester hotel, where he was staying before Monday’s U.K. premiere of The Dark Knight.

The Sun said police did not question the actor Monday because they did not want to interfere with the premiere of the movie, in which he stars as the vigilante crime fighter. The next scheduled stop on the film’s European premiere tour was Barcelona, Spain.

Bale first made a splash as the child star of Steven Spielberg’s “Empire of the Sun” in 1987 and as an adult has made his name with intense screen roles. His films include “American Psycho,” “The Machinist” and “Batman Begins.” The Dark Knight star allegedly lashed out and assaulted his mother and sister at London’s Dorchester hotel on Sunday, where he has a suite. Bale’s mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, went to a police station on Monday to lodge a formal complaint against him.

Bale was allowed to go to the premiere but police in London were expected to question him soon after.

“He currently remains in custody.”

Despite the alleged incident and report, Bale was allowed to attend the first European screening of the new Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight in London’s West End on Monday night uninterrupted.

Bale was joined on the red carpet by Maggie Gyllenhaal, who plays love interest Rachel Dawes, and Sir Michael Caine who plays Bruce Wayne’s faithful butler and father figure Alfred.

The film took a record $158.3 million in its opening weekend at the US box office overtaking Spiderman 3, which took $151.1 million.

LifeLock is America’s #1 Identity theft prevention program. To receive the best discount available use promotion code RD17.

This is a very good promotion. You will receive a great discount for a program of prevention of identity theft. You will pay only 9$ monthly, and you will receive 30 days free of charge. Whether it’s grade school or college, your kids’ risk for identity theft increases when they go to school. So when you’re stocking up on school supplies this summer, make sure your kids are protected against identity theft by enrolling them in LifeLock’s identity theft protection plan.

Before you plop down $8.50 for a movie ticket, you read the movie reviews. Before you buy a car, you read the reviews. If you’re thinking about subscribing to an identity theft prevention service, you may be interested in reading the hundreds of lifelock reviews by consumers on the internet.Or, maybe not. Maybe instead of reading somebody else’s Life Lock reviews, you’d like to look at the evidence yourself instead. For instance, LifeLock now has somewhere in the neighborhood of 700,000 customers. All 700,000 customers have already compared LifeLock to other services, and chosen LifeLock. For real protection, look into LifeLock identity theft prevention. When you sign up with LifeLock, identity theft just doesn’t happen.

It seems that in our days the promotion is the key to succes. If you want to reach your audience, the audience must see your logo, or your brand name. Custom made objects are the best thing that come in my mind. From t-shirts, caps, and shorts to silicone bracelets. All can be printed with your logo, and in the same time are useful for everyone. I like very much the silicone bracelets because are stylish, and can be “wear” all the time.

I looked for something like that on the net and I found CircleBracelets.com. Here you can order Custom Silicone Wristbands, which are the perfect match for you to promote a business. Also you can order Custom Rubber Wristbands, for organizations that are looking for high quality promotional awareness products. The wristbands are made of 100% rubber and will not tear, rip, or loose their color.

If you own a non-profit organization, the bracelets are again the perfect match. Let’s look at this: Consider a purchase of 1000 bracelets. At a total price of only $0.38 per wristband, they can be resold at $2.00 USD for a 526% return on investment. Selling them for $3.00 yields a 789% return on investment. Some charities resell custom wristbands successfully at prices up to $10 each! Looks very good.

With Cindy Garrison.

Garrison grew up in Northern California and Oregon. Her parents, both of whom hunt and fish, introduced her to the sports as a child. When she traveled to Botswana with her father in 1998, she so enjoyed the experience that she stayed for five years, running camps for a safari company as well as founding her own safari company.

In 2003, Garrison became co-host of ESPN2’s In Search of Fly Water, which ran for two seasons. Her stint on this show led her current job as host of Get Wild! Garrison’s current show is probably most notable for its exotic locations and her “extreme” approach to outdoor pursuits.

In September 2006, she became an official spokeswoman for Women in the Outdoors.Cindy Garrison may at first appear to be an unlikely host of a high-profile hunting program, but you’ll soon discover she’s quite qualified.
“Get Wild with Cindy Garrison” from July through December on ESPN2 TV. Watch the show and be intimidated by the very attractive and sexy bombshell when she leads you in her exploration of extreme outdoor hunting, whether it’s fish at sea or game on land.

I searched the entire web for an online shop for car parts. I found some shops, but they do not satisfy me. Today I found a shop with discount auto parts, very well made, which I think it is a leader in the domain.
There you will find a full offer for a lot of cars, including Jeep parts. Go-Part.Com has been in the auto business for over 10 years now. They have the best competitive prices on replacement radiators, condensers, cooling fans, and lighting. Additionally, they offer very fast shipping, most shipped out the same day. All parts come with an limited lifetime warranty. All parts are manufactured by industry leaders, such as Koyo, TYC, and Modine.
The shop is very secure, this is assured by TrustGuard, RapidSSL and GeoTrust. They accept all returns within 14 days from date of purchase. Friendly and knowledgeable customer service to help you.
I searched for Toyota Parts, and I received the package very fast and in good condition. This helped me a lot because I made a journey along the country.
In conclusion Go-Part.Com is a competitive shop, which for me, provided the best quality in a fast environment. If you have any questions or comments, call free: 1-877-321-PART (7278)

Roger Federer of Switzerland and Rafael Nadal of Spain completed their march toward a third consecutive Wimbledon final Friday, handily defeating their respective semifinal opponents with the sharply contrasting styles that define the most compelling rivalry in men’s tennis.

Americans Venus and Serena Williams were to spend Friday evening as they have nearly every night for the past two weeks: talking about everything except tennis, having dinner together and going to their rooms to read (in Venus’ case) or watch a movie (in Serena’s).

Today’s schedule included breakfast together, followed by the arrival of two cars — one to take each sister to the All England Club, where they will compete for the greatest prize in tennis.

It will be the third time the sisters have battled for Wimbledon’s championship. Serena, 26, won the previous meetings, in 2002 and 2003.

Defending champion Venus, 28, earned her fourth title last year; she also triumphed in 2000, 2001 and 2005.

ESPN2 is showing Wimbledon live in the mornings (with Brad Gilbert!) and Tennis Channel is showing it taped in the evenings for those without TIVO (or with Brad Gilbert phobias.) NBC has a paltry, watch-at-your-own-risk, 3 hour window of “kinda live” tennis (note that the asterisk next to the times means “all time zones” so it’s live on the East Coast, taped everywhere else) starting on the first Saturday and going through the Quarter Finals on Wednesday, July 2nd. Then NBC will go to a “kinda live” 5 hour window for the Semis, and will show the Finals live for everyone (imagine!) ESPN2 will supplement this coverage in the second week (i.e. show matches involving Kolya and Kuzey types.)
