Israel’s One-sided Statistics
Every now and then one gets totally floored by the blatant racism apparent in the Israeli media toward their own Arab population - the so-called Israeli Arabs. A prime example is this piece from Ynetnews - which attempts to celebrate (during this 60 Year Anniversary) the victory Israel has achieved in numbers. These numbers do not reflect the Israeli Citizen population, but rather, focuses on the ‘Jewish’ Israeli Citizen population. The number is staggering - according to the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, Israel is now 75.5% Jewish.
Articles like this completely alienate the Arab population within Israel - and is further proof that Israel is not a Democracy of ‘all its citizens’, but rather a Democracy of a favored population. Call it Apartheid, call it racism, but read this article and decide what path Israel is planning for the foreseeable future.
