However, what they’re offering is the 2G Surf, which means no webcam, only 2GB of onboard flash memory, and shorter battery life.
Since the usual DSL rate right now is P900, I’m assuming that the extra P595 is for the EeePC. Given its 2-year lock-in period, 24xP495=P14,280. US list price for the 2G is $300. Not such a bad price, but not that great, either.

It’s available everywhere already! Saw a billboard in C5 and signages along the highway.
It’s a great deal. You can pay for the laptop in installment through your bill. It’s also cheaper to get it from Globe than in computer shops.
