The competition has been conceived by Degree C and supported and promoted by Technopark. All projects selected after final screening will be eligible for incubation support from Technopark.
The prize money of Rs 1 lakh will be awarded to the most innovative, socially relevant and commercially exploitable projects for 2008 by Degree C. The theme for this year's contest would be ‘Rural technology and Global Warming.'
Project synopses have already been invited from about 1400 AICTE-approved colleges and universities in the country and over 90 project synopses from 12 states.
