American Airlines marks 65th year of Mexico flights
American Airlines is marking its 65th year of offering flights to Mexico. The carrier - with its affiliate American Eagle - offers more than 360 weekly flights to Mexican destinations, serving 14 Mexican cities from its five major hubs.
Chicago passengers can fly to Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, while those from the Dallas area can take a trip to Acapulco, Aguascalientes, Cancun, Chihuahua, Cozumel, Guadalajara, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Los Cabos, Leon, Mexico City, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, San Luis Potosi, and Torreon.
Los Angeles residents have a service to Los Cabos, Miami natives can travel to Cancun, Mexico City, and Cozumel, and New York fliers can journey to Cancun, and Los Cabos.
Peter Dolara, American Airlines Senior Vice-President for Miami, Caribbean, and Latin America, commented: "Since we began serving Mexico in 1942, American Airlines has been a strong contributor to the country's economy.
"Now, 65 years later, our bond is stronger and deeper than ever, and we look forward to many more years of service."
