The Lord Mayor of Chester, Cllr Jim Latham visited the set of Hollyoaks last week (May 8). The show has just picked up six awards at the ‘British Soap Awards’ including ‘Best Actor and Best Actress’, which went to Chris Fountain and Emma Rigby.

If you’d like to see the cast in person, tickets are now on sale for the Hollyoaks Charity Football Match on Saturday 24 May at Chester City Football Club, kick off 2pm. The cast then play host at a Charity Ball at Chester Racecourse. The Hollyoaks football team including Nick Pickard (Tony), Jamie Lomas (Warren), and Ricky Whittle (Calvin), will be playing against another celebrity team which include stars from Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Shameless, Casualty and The Bill, in a bid to raise money for charity. The opposition includes ex-Hollyoaks actors James Redmond (Finn) and Gary Lucy (Luke Morgan).
