Dentists of the leading countries in the world have declared a war on carbonated beverage producers. The studies found that the majority of cold soda drinks affect the health of our teeth.

Use of carbonated beverages leads to the destruction of tooth enamel, which performs a protective function for our teeth. As a result, the teeth are becoming more sensitive, responsive to cold, hot, acidic, etc. and less durable. Erasing of enamel leads to the development of caries in a tooth, and, in the process, it destroys the tooth. The group of risk is usually the youth. In the British study, the researchers found that 90% of those who consumed carbonation wer children of preschool age and teenagers.

Alternatively dentists offer simply to change the composition of carbonated drinks: they advise to add calcium and other components that, if not strengthen tooth enamel, then at least preserve it. They also require the largest producers of cold drinks (such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi Cola) to reduce the content of gases to a minimum.
