A lot has been said about Alltop - Guy Kawasaki’s “digital magazine rack” of the internet - some good, some not so good. It does, however, do a great job of aggregating content from multiple sources into categories of interest and presenting them in a simple, easy to use format.
Unlike other aggregators Alltop has already done the hard work for you, there is no need to muck about with those ‘new-fangled’ RSS feeds - you just choose a topic and see what’s on offer. This makes Alltop ideally suited to those who haven’t dived in to the world of blogs head on or just prefer to get their news from what’s on offer ‘on the stands’.
It is an ideal way to get those who may be less confortable on the web to discover and get involved with blogs as a source of news and opinion and, as a result, drive extra traffic to the blogs listed.
Alltop Social Media
I am now proud to say that I have now been listed in Alltop Social Media amongst such esteemed company as Chris Brogan, Mark Dykeman, and Louis Gray (as well as a whole host of other good sites). If Alltop enables consumers to find quality content - and even bloggers to pick up on like minded people they may have missed - then I’m all for it.
Thank you Alltop.
