ORRERY! Very steampunk inspired. In real life it would probably be much larger and mechanical with moving gears and whatnot... a way to see of the planets and other heavely bodies move around each other and their star! In this case we must settle for a non moving minature replica. While this will work nicely on an flat surface it has a magnet hidden beneath and will work on any steady, VERTICAL surface (like my refrigerator there, but I would not recommend it on the door). One of my all wood (almost 100%) table top mini diorama scene creations! I keep lots of the wood details, maintain a retro, sometimes rustic look and feel to them.Site:
