Clearly, the insurgency and the eventual collapse of his Mahdi Army was just a patient, sophisticated and ultimately successful scheme to be featured on a banner in Denver, where he can win the hearts and minds of the infidel Americans with his populist message of sharia law and the banning of music, dance, immodest clothing, beer, and imperalism.
Hmm, actually the people in the picture seems to be drinking beer, listening to music, and dancing, and the women are unchastely unveiled. Well, one out of five isn’t bad.
