In the Bottom of the 3rd, Jones grounded a two-out single through the hole on the right side. Teixeira grounded a two-out single through the hole on the left side, and Jones went to second. Mark Teixeira lined an RBI single into left which scored Mark Kotsay and Jones advanced to second. Francoeur grounded to the pitcher, and the Mets turned the inning ending double play.
