Kevin Costner coasts back into theaters August 1 with 'Swing Vote,' and we're with the Oscar winner as he chats about the political satire.
"'Swing Vote' wasn't thought of to have international cache, it wasn't thought to be a big winner because it's about America and we haven't been riding a wave of popularity lately," Kevin tells ET. "But I did think it really represented a good comedic look at an election and I think 'Swing Vote' is a breath of fresh air."
The film positions the beloved actor as a single father and loveable loser who is unwittingly placed in the national spotlight when the presidential election comes down to his vote.
