Here are some highlights from the fall 2008 Honors course schedule HIST 123 The U.S. to 1877 MWF 2-2:50 Professor Higbee This course will be centered on a method of teaching, called Reacting to the Past, in which students play elaborate games of historical simulation. Students are assigned roles based on a moment in history, given "victory objectives" to purse as that historical character.

We are currently accepting applications for the Honors Undergraduate Fellowship. The Fellowships offer a $2,000 stipend to students working on an project with the support of a faculty sponsor. To be eligible, students must: 1) be members in good standing in the Honors College 2) have completed at least 56 credits by the start of the fellowship term 3) enroll full-time in the fellowship semester
