Multi-discipline, integrated ad agency on a strong growth track seeks experienced Freelance Interactive Designer with mainstream XHTML, CSS, and Flash development experience. The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of accessibility, standards compliance, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, ActionScript, SEO, along with the savvy and style to put it all together in an engaging front-end experience. Skills:
- Design complex web application interactions
- Conduct informal and formal usability testing
- Document design decisions and interaction guidelines
- Strong knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, AJAX & Javascript
- Ability to hand code without the help of WYSIWYG editor
- Moderate to Advanced Flash skills
- Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator experience for prototyping and concept visualization
- Familiar with Mac and Windows Interface Design principles
- Keen eye for typography, layout, and user interaction.
- Comfortable with statistical analysis tools and data-mining packages and know how to use the data to influence design.
- Strong sense of usability & web design
- Work with a team to cultivate ideas and influence design direction
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
