At one point buried and left for dead in the wake of Mark Anderson's transformation into an every down starter, Brown has resurfaced lately - just in time to help out playoff-bound IDP fantasy teams. He had 7 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble last week to cap off a decent three week stretch in which he has become much more involved in the Bears' game plan.

Just another name in a growing list of young players who are emerging for the Buccaneers' defense. White was drafted in 2002 by the Texans, but failed to catch on during his first tour of duty in the NFL. He made a name for himself as the Arena Football League's ADT defensive player of the year for 2007 and earned himself a tryout with the Bucs this last off-season. White made good on the opportunity and is now becoming an NFL force with 8.5 sacks, including a breakout 3 sack, 2 forced fumbles performance in week 14.

Barring an injury, Farrior will cross the 1,000 total tackle mark this weekend against Jacksonville. If you are a die-hard Steelers fan, that may be reason enough to pick up this cagey veteran. Even if you're not a Pennsylvania native, you should trust Farrior to deliver. He's averaged over 100 tackles in each of his 6 seasons with the Steelers and will be relied upon heavily over the last few games to anchor the defense through the December grind.

Many thought Gaither was a strange choice as Jeremiah Trotter's replacement this season after the long-time Eagles vet was unceremoniously dumped during the preseason. Still, Gaither has come on strong and proved himself to be a decent NFL mike backer. He has 28 tackles in his last 3 games and makes up in reliability what he sacrifices in big play ability.

Despite being part of a four-way linebacker rotation on the inside of the Browns' D, Williams has put up some decent numbers this season - including four games in which he has notched at least 9 tackles. With D'Qwell Jackson battling an ankle injury, Williams should continue to see lots of snaps for Cleveland.
