The reviews have overall been excellent. I considered buying one a few months ago, but the $300 price pushed me to a Sangean.

Upside: sounds great, has remote, very capable with a fine display.

Downside: Questions about durability (power supply problems) and the health of the Roku Company (no firmware updates in quite a while). However, the founder (Anthony Wood?) is leaving NetFlix and returning to Roku, so who knows, things could turn around.

A great deal on what seems to be a fine radio, though I would like to hear from owners. I think Amazon is the only place to get it this cheap (still $300 on the Roku site) so if you want one, act fast.

Definitely a cool gadget at a great price. I almost bought it when it was posted before, now I'm hesitating again because of the fact that it's wireless B instead of G. Might have to dig around and see if I have a G router or bridge laying around...

Who cares if it's B vs. G? It's only internet audio, not video. Most streams are only 64-128k, some even less. The only reason I could see it mattering is if you don't want to mix B and G on your home network for performance reasons. But even then, you could maintain a separate, cheapo B router to serve only this radio.

Just received the Roku this morning. Comes w/ v3 software installed. Holy cow, this thing is VERY cool and sounds GREAT! Best bass I've heard in such a small package in a long time. Looks like another job for my Harmony remote. You gotta get one, esp. at this price (I'm sure it will pop up again). Only hope the unit lasts (and Roku too).
