Should i contact local Best Buy for this? Do you think this price could be at any location?

1. No.
2. No.
Wiser to just go to your store and see if they have it, then get a price check on it while you're there. If instead you call and alert an employee to a really hot deal, they may elect to purchase it themselves...no deal for you.
Clearance like this is always pretty variable from store to store, in my experience.
Truth is, the A700 has been sold out at 99% of the store since BB dropped the price to $800-900. You found probably a one off. Great deal for you though.
People are going to waste gas and time going scouring all BB all over America looking for the $559 A700.
Just do what someone else has suggested.
Go to the store and see if they have it instock and if they do have them go to the computer to check other locations. If you need just write down the item # and take it into the store and have them check the other locations.
When you have checked the other locations make a note of which store has it and at what price.
Not all stores will have it instock. Nor will they have it all have it for the same price.

new, there is still a display available when I left
Found one after driving around for over an hour - 1399 though - no deal
Wow...was able to pick up what has to be one of the last of these left at this ridiculously low clearance price. Asked for a NIB since they still had the sign up & everything, but, of course, they had none. Told him to just disconnect the display, b/c I still want it. Only got 5% off for display (said Sony had recently given a memo limiting any further discounts on this price), but it still had all accessories! I was able to get out of there with this and an HDR-HC5 HD Video Camera for less than $900, total! Great little emergency backups for my new 40D and HV20, respectively. Good luck, everyone; don't loose hope!
