This is my first "Hot Deals" post, so go easy on me.
Anyway, I've been following this television for a long while now and this is the cheapest I've ever seen it. Also, since it's from Amazon, you get free white glove delivery and also don't have to pay any taxes on it.
From the reviews its an amazing television with the exception of mediocre speakers.

Don't apologize for this or any other deal you post. Ignore the losers on this site that will red flag you and give you the business. They are jerk offs and have NO lives outside of Fatwallet. They sit there waiting to pounce on a supposed "bad" post. Pathetic. We KNOW who they are. It's quite obvious. Having said that, the reviews on this TV are inhuman. Looks like a great set. The white glove delivery AND no tax definitely makes this a good deal. Saves me a lot in CA that's for sure. Thanks for the post. Don't know if it can be had for a lower price. For the money though good deal. Loser/haters die. Ignore them and/or kill them.

This is certainly a hot buy. As an alternative, check out the Sony KDL-40V4100 for $1299 which also a pretty good deal, though not quite as hot. These two sets are very similar and the choice will basically boil down to personal preference.

Finally, I pulled the trigger on this TV. Thanks OP! This is the lowest price on this TV I have seen in weeks. Does anyone know how good is Amazon's 30-day price match guarantee? Is it worth the money to invest in the 3/5 Yr extended service plan? Thanks.

You are right OP - I bought one of these from Amazon 2 weeks ago (after price watching for a while) and the current price is the best I've seen. Luckily Amazon has their terrific Post-purchase price guarantee so they refunded me the difference.
This TV is outstanding, can't put into words here what a beautiful picture the 30,000:1 HDMI delivers. Amazon's white glove delivery was nice, and the price with no shipping or taxes was even better.
Highly recommend this TV if you are a serious TV watcher, a great value at this price.

If Amazon also has the price guarantee for OP's one($1081.06), i'd order that one. but I could also find the same product that is sold by Amazon.com in $1199.98.

I just called Amazon and because it's sold by 6Ave, you can't get the post price guarantee; to get that, it must be sold by "Amazon.com"

When I bought it 2 weeks ago it was sold directly by Amazon, not 6Ave. So you are right, a great price direct from Amazon is a much better deal.

My parents just bought this TV from Buy.com through Electronics Expo.. it was delivered for $1100. I checked but their price has gone up.. still a great deal!
Actually its $997 at FRYs now with free shipping. I just bought mine there.
