S. Illinois Blaze Kills Two

Illinois -
A fire blazed through a split-level home in Mt. Vernon early this morning killing two adults, local fire officials said. The house was engulfed in flames when the Mt. Vernon Fire Department arrived around 4:47 am. Family members of the two people who died were on the scene to identify the bodies.
Sarah Leann Rollinson was named as one of the dead. The other was not released pending family notification. Police are investigating. The fire is classified as suspicious. Three children normally live in the house, but were not sleeping there last night. Written by St. Louis Post-Dispatch
