We’re Members of the Honolulu Club

At the time we decided to quit smoking, expecting a mountainous challenge we sought other methods besides the hugely popular nicotine laced patches and gums. A visit to the local GNC store and about an hour long consultation, we decided on a 7-day complete body cleansing program. Combined with the willingness to eliminate this life-threatening habit from our lives, the cleansing program subsided any cravings making the transition surprisingly seamless. It’s been a grateful four months and we haven’t looked back.
Since making changes in my career, my physical activity has plummeted to the sedentary levels of an inanimate object. It’s frustrating, but I realized I lacked the discipline and ignored my golden rule of choices. And so, as of the first of July we are members of the Honolulu Club.
There were so many reasons for choosing the Honolulu Club, but ultimately it was the professionalism of both the associates and clientèle that won our monthly fees. Honolulu Club has everything we need: cardio classes, swimming pools, cardio machines, free and machine weights, basketball court, indoor gym, private lockers, spacious locker rooms, spa, childcare, kids classes, health bar and lounge. I’ve only listed the things we need, there are other activities including a driving range, tennis courts, racquetball, pilates, ballroom dancing and more!
If you don’t see me posting to Brightkite that we’re breaking a sweat, give me a nudge.

As we age, the road to better health seems to be ALL uphill. I put on 20 lbs during my two years at my last job due to poor eating habits and a virtually non-existent exercise routine.
I started my own gig about 2 months ago and also decided to improve my eating habits - I’ve lost about 15 lbs so far.
Now, for an exercise regime. My wife’s been prodding me to join a gym with her so we can workout together. I guess it’s time, huh?
Thanks for posting this, because it’s the kick I need to start. Look forward to the journey, my friend!
