"Ceremony" is a Joy Division song NOT a New Order song! Ian died before it was brought into the studio. Do your research!
Anon(1): I'm pretty sure the mighty Radiohead had NO's version in mind, as the Joy Division demo is rather primitive and rough. It's a JD song that gave birth to a NO song and is best known (and heard) as the latter.

Get over yourself. The song was released by New Order. It was never ever released by Joy Division, it was only played live once. It is the link between New Order and Joy Division, but technically a New Order song.
Now shut up and go back to fellating your wax sculpture of Ian Curtis.

final word: this is a cover of (one of) the NO version(s), the vocal melody on the chorus of the JD version (available on Heart and Soul) is different
