TAG’s games-on-demand television channel brings an unprecedented level of high-quality casual games to broad cable, IPTV and satellite television audiences using patent pending, break-through technology. TAG’s programming lineup features blockbuster brands and classic favorites in a multitude of game genres that appeal to the entire family: puzzles, cards, word games, trivia, action and arcade, sports, and kids – including educational titles for the youngest members of the family. The channel boasts real-time multiplayer network games, rich community features including high scores and multi-platform interaction across television, internet and wireless.
Reporting into the CEO, you will provide leadership and strategic direction to the company in relation to game development production. You will be a key part of the senior management team responsible for the commercial performance of current and future game releases.
Key duties include: • Managing a small team of game producers, programmers, artists and game designers, providing leadership support and strategic direction; • Identifying new opportunities for future products, which are inline with the company’s overall business aims; • Ensuring our game development teams are working effectively towards business goals by providing operational support and guidance to team members; • Continual advancement of game development lifecycles and production processes; • Ongoing appraisal of individual performances, helping them to work towards their own continuous personal development.
Requirements: • 3-5 years experience as an Executive Producer • Strong leadership skills, with a lead by example approach; • Knowledge of game development methods and practices; • Excellent organizational skills; • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate enthusiastically, clearly and concisely to groups and individuals; • The ability to adapt, re-prioritize and immediately solve problems according to the needs of a fast-moving working environment • Experience with casual games development is a plus
