Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir Expansion Revealed
The newly announced Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion Storm of Zehir "hearkens back to the days of the Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale franchises" -- good news for NWN2 fans, assuming it fulfills that promise.
Storm will see players dealing with treacherous trade syndicates along the Forgotten Realms' Sword Coast, who have come under the sway of the snakelike Yuan-Ti.
Fans of BioWare's Baldur's Gate series should hear bells of recognition right about now as both the Yuan-Ti and the Sword Coast have featured heavily in the Baldur's series.
The expansion will also finally allow NWN2 fans to create "your own full party of adventurers." I doubt the game will be able to replace Minsc and Boo, but allowing for entire parties of adventurers is a nice step.
