An ineffective way to get a skin peel
This is what happens when you stick your hand in Quickrete mortor to scoop it out and smooth it in place. Don't do that. I wouldn't recommend it.
But hey, last night I made great strides in completing a project on the patio that I've put off since last summer!
Happy Earth Day! What did you do for this special day? I spent Saturday, as indicated in my previous post, cleaning a creek. Of course, spreading Quickrete between patio blocks prevents green from growing....the weedy kind of green. I'm not so sure that's in the spirit of Green Day.

Oh my gosh, Hummie, looks like you ran sand paper over your hands - poor thing. That's usually what my hands look like when I don't wear rubber gloves to wash dishes. I wasn't too productive for earth day today but I did scrap a little. Sounds like your project is coming along.
Just another work day for me :) You need some body butter to smooth out those hands! I love that stuff and use it all the time! Bodyshop not bath and body, I love that they are all about community trade too.
We did kids club on Saturday at the Nursery for Earth Day. Painted a rock to look like a lady bug, talked about using ladybugs instead of chemicals. And talked about growing your own food so we planted some Lemon Cucumber seeds.
