Weekly Winners: 15 June - 21 June

http://sarcasticmom.com/?page_id=137

It's been easier this week for me to find some weekly winners, because I kept some shots specially for this post :).
I've had a better photo week this week (apart from getting quite good results at Camera /Photo club on Wednesday), and I've graduated to using the manual/creative modes on the camera - I still have a lot to learn about exposure, aperture etc as I had to adjust most of them in Photoshop! Talking of which, I think I should get proper PS instead of Elements, I'm dying to use actions.

We went to Parys last Sunday, and I again took some photos from the moving car :)

I had to take a few days off work this week because I had no-one to look after the kids, and I took them to a tea garden to play on the one afternoon (There are more photos here).

And I can't resist showing you these too. Connor picked a flower for me yesterday, but by the time I got it, it was all mangled... and this is why...

What a great set of shots - they are all so wonderful, it's hard to pick a favorite.

The windmill one is great, as is the pineapple lilly!

Beautiful pics Jenty! My faves are the windmill one, the 2 flower ones, & the last one~that last one is precious!

On a side note, I've been trying the last 2-3 weeks to comment but haven't been able to. I finally got it to work today~I had to sit here & keep clicking on the comment link! Don't know what's up w/that but I wanted to let you know that I haven't been ignoring you & I have been trying to comment :)

Beautiful shots Jenty. That Lily one is divine. Once you go into manual or aperture priority modes I swear you will never go back!

I love the landscape ones. Impressive that they were done from a moving car. I also love the shots of the boy with flower. So cute.

Isn't it funny the things that bring emotion.

Burnt...I used to hate the burned veld and couldn't wait for the new green of spring. It's something I haven't seen in the 10 years since I left SA (can you believe it's been 10 years already!). Yet, here I am, with tears welling up looking at your Burnt photo. I even miss the things I hated! What a crazy girl I am :-)

Awesome photo's - as always!

I have no idea why you think you need any help from a photography tutorial written by me. You obviously know what you're doing. Fabulous shots, all of them! Especially the pineapple lily and the goat. Oh. And the last one, and the second to last one, and the third to last one. Er... Especially all of them.

And I love these photos.
