Hydrangeas in winter

I can't resist posting these as well.
My mom's hydrangeas still have flowers even though it's the dead of winter here, but look at the amazing colours!

Those are beautifull. How weird though to still have "Christmas roses" at this time of the year.

goodness, those hydrangeas are beautiful.... and tenacious! Wonder if they will survive this week's miserable weather, although I see you are in for a hot spell before the current cold front hits you! It is FREEZING and windy with horizontal rain here, brrr. Have enjoyed catching up on the past week's pix, as usual some brilliant portraits and candid shots.
